The Quince Tree at Clifton Nurseries in Runnymede

Great little cafe in the plant nurseries, great coffee, cakes and bangles. Salmon & cheese is lovely. Very friendly staff.

I asked for eggs Benedict without the sauce and then it took 30 mins for the food to come then they put the sauce on it in the end and gave it to me and it tasted horrible I didn’t ask to redo the food because it took so long to get here

We had a lovely sandwich. Was filled generously and was lovely and warm. Menu simply buy done well. Staff friendly. Nice and clean. Cakes let them down slightly but could tell they were homemade which is important to me. Would 100% return

So we popped in for breakfast. The coffee was nice but £10 for two over cooked fried eggs(missing most of the whites) on unbuttered toast and a mushroom; even with cress thrown on top is a bit much. Judge for yourself

Free parking, lovely coffee and tasty mains and desserts:) They also have toy box which is really handy!

Great stop for breakfast or lunch. We’ve been several times as a family and it’s always busy. Food is fresh and full of flavour - staff really helpful and attentive. Nice conservatory area and plenty of room to move around! Would recommend.

The Quince Tree Cafe at Weybridge is fabulous. We have been coming here for lunch every week now for about 18 months or so. The food is excellent - I thoroughly recommend the Eggs Benedict and the service is second to none. Chef manages to prepare such amazing food in a limited space and it is always service with a smile from Christina and Sara. We even had a Christmas lunch here in December and it was delicious. We look forward to our Thursday lunch every week. Yvonne & Annette

I’ve been so often and have loved it. However on Friday I had a different experience. Service not overly friendly or good and food was ok. My problem was £8 for a very, very, very small piece of soda bread with avocado and tomato. RIP off!!! What a shame!

We sat in a small annexe which let in cold air...ordered the coffee which was very nice but the breakfast was not nice . The toast under eggs was cold and hard, the beans were lukewarm, the tomato was cold , the poached eggs ?? were just balls of yolk and tasted of vinegar which was clearly the water they were cooked in . The sausages were very tasty but that was all! Not sure about the roast lunch on a Sunday but won't be coming back ...

Reading such excellent reviews decided that we should try this place, it sounded amazing. Easy to park, in beautiful surroundings and could imagine it would be stunning in the summer. Walked in, fairly busy but two/three tables were unoccupied. Standing there for a while, looking at the menu which was available. Eventually a young lady with a miserable face 'glanced out way'. OUR normal polite request, do you have a table please. WELL NOT SURE what was muttered and arm was waved, a look across the restaurant / some form of gesture and a back was turned towards us. She then started looking at receipts / bills ? And then proceeded to take some crockery behind the counter. Absolutely shameful behaviour, we only wanted to have lunch. Seriously this will never happen again, will never attempt to try to eat here ever. There are lots of places to eat with kind friendly and attentive staff. Obviously not here.

An excellent vegetarian breakfast.I and my friend both had the breakfast and were very impressed.The service was good.

I was looking for somewhere for breakfast ..& found this!! It's a delightful place, beautiful setting, comfortable seating, attentive staff, & lovely food, coffee..& my favourite..freshly squeezed orange juice! There is a choice of seating..outside on little tables ( cushions on chairs!! ) or inside in a conservatory or a big comfy sofa..also a winter area! They do breakfast all day & lunch..highly recommended !

Friendly staff and really well cooked and served food. Set in a lovely garden centre and using the surroundings to enhance the cafe's ambiance, the food was tasty and delicious, as was the coffee. An excellent discovery.

Relaxed Nursery location. Great choice. So nice to go somewhere different and have a nice healthy breakfast. Eat inside or out. It’s usually very busy.

The place is lively and popular, bright glass house inside a plant shop , they serve good salads , you have many choices in their lunch menu

I love this place - beautiful setting and yummy food along with Cinti’s sunny smiles. They have recently become very popular and it can be hard to find a table if the weather is poor and you can’t sit outside. The new breakfast menu lacks a granola/porridge/fruit healthy option which is disappointing for me.

We have lunch here every week, the food and service are fabulous, excellent menu and the staff are second to none. Cinti, Carly & George (who really knows how to poach an egg by the way) look after us so well. We have been coming here for quite some time now, the only problem is it's getting more and more popular understandably so :-).

Stopped by here for lunch and it is the best goats cheese salad I have ever had. Every mouthful was just so delicious! Loved it! Can't wait to go back.

Clifton Nursery is well stocked with mature trees and shrubs, very appropriate for someone wanting and 'instant' garden. It is delightfully laid out and a pleasure to walk round.

Regular visitor to this excellent cafe where the food always lives up to expectation and the staff are extremely helpful and always pleasant. Today Quince was very busy (gorgeous weather) and Catia was particularly pro-active in finding us a lovely table in beautiful surroundings. Full marks for yet another hugely successful visit. What a lovely place to visit - the most amazing plants and the food is fabulous. A great variety and a wonderful atmosphere - lots of different places to sit - either inside or out. Extremely friendly staff for whom nothing is too much trouble - I can see us going again and again to work through the menu!!!! Wonderful for elderly parents as well - all flat and very easy access - only thing that could be improved is more disabled parking slots ;-)

Since discovering The Quince Tree in Autumn 2018 I have become a regular visitor with friends, family and for solo outings. The coffee and hot chocolate are delicious, the food is always fresh and seasonal, and the staff are lovely. Carly, George and Cinti are always friendly and cheerful. Special thanks to Cinti who has been patiently adjusting the number of shots in my latte to find the perfect strength level! Highly recommended and deserves its 5 star rating.

The food and ambiance of this garden centre cafe is lovely and the food is much better than most - more like a starred restaurant quality. The charming Cynthia makes me feel like a beloved family member rather than a customer. Wonderful experience.

We’ve been here twice ...not again .. the service is very slow .. the food is expensive for what it is ..and also my plate and cup although spotless clean had that horrible smell you get from the dishwasher .. Nice venue though

We visited here based on a recommendation from a friend but left vowing not to return. Our cappuccinos were much more like flat whites and the citrus drizzle cake lacked flavour.

We were looking for somewhere a little different to grab lunch on my birthday, and found the Quince Tree highly recommended on TripAdvisor, and after visiting today could only say that the plaudits are fully deserved.

I regularly use all the Cafe's in Addlestone and this is now the best, we called in on Sunday and thought it was worth a try, a great Sunday Roast a bit more expensive than some of the others, but you get what you pay for.

This is a cafe, restaurant in a garden centre. You might not expect much quality but you would be wrong. Only been here twice but both times the experience was excellent.

Post Sunday walk, popped in to see what it was like, and wow, an amazing place.

Great food, always with that little bit of extra care taken. Warm greeting, never to crowded (not sure why as it’s fab) and beautiful flowers surrounding.

I've visited The Quince Tree a few times now and it never dissapoints. Fantastic food, service and setting-can't recommend this place enough.

I have eaten here quite a bit recently and the food is always outstanding. Beautifully cooked and presented seasonal meals along with friendly and helpful staff. I would definitely recommend a trip here to eat breakfast, lunch or tea!

Met some friends here today for coffee and brunch - excellent service, delicious food with first class presentation - see you in two weeks time for family brunch !! So pleased I was recommended to this little gem of a cafe/restaurant.

Second visit to this fabulous little oasis; this time had the veggie brekkie. Absolutely delicious. Cinti was an absolute delight and couldn't have been more attentive. Such a fabulous way to start my Saturday, sitting outside surrounded by wonderful trees and plants. We will be back, very soon!

Had amazing food at The Quince Tree cafe at Clifton nurseries. Ordered the club sandwich and superfood salad. I’ve eaten club sandwiches everywhere and nothing compares to the one at the Quince Tree cafe. So fresh and tasty. On top of that they have amazing cakes. Highly recommend the lemon drizzle and brownie. We will be here more often.

After discovering The Quince 2 months ago despite living nearby, I have been back with clients, business partners and family many times. Cynthia is a great asset for this wonderful establishment set in stunning surroundings with great food.

My wonderful friend took me here for breakfast last week for my birthday. I am vegetarian and the food was absolutely fantastic. It really was the best vegetarian breakfast I have ever had. The cafe itself is beautiful and the staff go above and beyond to help and make you feel really special. This is now my new 'go to' place. I can't wait to come back and try the rest of the menu, which also looks amazing. A massive well done, it really made for a brilliant start to my birthday

Visited Quince for the second time today and had one of the veggie breakfasts adjusted for me, a vegan. It was delicious, fresh, hot and served with a fresh mint tea YUM. All in a beautiful setting.

Charming cafe with gorgeous cakes and home made juices. Tea was splendid and the seating outside was great.

We went to the garden centre and happened to stop at this little bistro whilst there for a bite to eat.

This little gem was recommended for coffee and cake but once we saw the lovely menu and the food coming out of the kitchen we had to order breakfast! Cinti was our server and she was utterly charming, she had plenty of time to chat but was equally efficient and polite. When our breakfast arrived, the presentation was as you would expect from a high end restaurant. I had the smashed avocado on soda bread with grilled tomatoes and bacon - delicious. ( fussy soya milk customer but all available) The garden centre around the cafe is so beautiful with some very tempting furniture, bbqs and plants. It was an expensive breakfast as it turned out because I bought a very stylish bbq! I cannot recommend this place highly enough - you will not be disappointed

I had a late breakfast at the cafe after visiting the garden centre - the smashed avocado with poached eggs and bacon was extremely good. The service was quick & efficient.

This a lovely off the beaten path cafe within Clifton nursery in Addlestone. If you have have chance to pop in and have a drink or little snack it’s well wort it. Jack and his lovely staff will take excellent care you !

Friendly reception, very child friendly and relaxed environment. A variety of dishes on the menu. The Eggs Royal was very tasty and the freshly squeezed orange juice great. There is a pleasant gazebo which can be booked in advance. A wonderful place to spend time with the kids and have something to eat.

I almost hesitate to write this review. It’s a small cafe set among the plants of the garden centre. Nice little setting but a small cafe. But breakfast was fantastic and great value. A full English that wasn’t greasy and nicely presented and a really good eggs Royale. And that was very I almost hesitated. It could get busy as it’s small and I still want to be able to get in....
