Came here could smell the barbecue and couldn’t resist the pork ribs wow did I make the right choice was so soft just pulled away sauce so lovely complimented with homemade coleslaw and potato salad one of the best thing I have tasted in a long time

It’s nice to go to the pub and have a bbq . Lovely different variety on the bbq. The chicken curry was amazing. And the price range was very reasonable.

Visited this pub for the first time today. We received a very warm welcome. The food and drink prices were very reasonable. The food was absolutely amazing. Very generous portions and clearly freshly cooked. Could not fault it at all. Felt like a valued customer and the staff went above and beyond. Will definately go back. Thank you for a wonderful lunch.

Was looking for a sunday roast for me and my daughter and the queens head wormley didn't disappoint. My daughter was unsure and suggested other places but I'd heard from friends that the roast were good. We went for the lamb shank. It was absolutely delicious. Lots of fresh vegetables and it felt like we'd had a home cooked meal. We will definitely be coming back for more meals here. Top marks for flavour and value for money. Plus plenty of gravy which we both love on our roasts.

What can I say !! This is by the best place to get your Sunday roast. All home cooked food . 5 different veg . Lovely staff and excellent value for money. I would highly recommend.

Excellent Sunday roast. Beautiful fresh vegetables, home made Yorkshire pudding and roast potatoes, yummy gravy. True home cooked experience. Served by Holly who was so welcoming and friendly. Great food. Highly recommended.

Was told all good here by neighbours we used to go here a lot when refitted but it dropped off a bit so we tri d it out on Sunday for lunch. Busy and cheery welcome. Credit card machine not working so had to leave to get cash no great deal .... we had mushroom with cheese and leek and potato soup which was powerfully peppered but ok. 2 x lamb shanks a turkey and a roast beef main was ok but not exceptional service and waitress couldn’t fault. £80 with wines and beers not to bad.

We arrived for a family Sunday lunch, when we arrived at 1.30pm we were told that they would have a table at 3pm, it got to 3.40pm and they said it would be another hour. We had small children with us and we had been waiting since 1.30 to eat, if they told us they wouldn’t be able to serve us until nearly 5pm then we would have gone somewhere else but they just lied. It ruined the day and i can’t believe how bad the service was, we won’t be going back

I live in walking distance from this public house and have frequented it often now it is under new management my wife and myself wth my wifes parents booked it for Sunday lunch. The pub is a small village pub but enough room to accomadate everyone has a large car park and a beer garden The food and the service was absoulutly fantastic. All staff were friendly and tentative to our requirements Great price great food great service we will be re-visiting

Had a family meal last Sunday, food was fantastic, great friendly service and reasonably priced. Am going back again this Sunday.

This pub has totally turned around . The staff are very friendly. And the food is fresh and lovely. And very good pice . I would recommend to anyone

Last week me and family came to eat at the queens head on Sunday, I was very impressed with the staff who were very helpful to all our needs and the food was absolutely delicious I had the roast beef which just melts in your mouth and my two kids had the pork belly which had a massive bit of crackling on which was lovely and crunchy. To say the least this pub has defiantly improved since the new management and staff have taken over.

Pub was empty and no food at all is available anymore, not even a sandwich. Their advertising is from previous owners apparently, and is very much out of date. We went with high expectations after looking at the website. We should have been more wary as none of the phone numbers were in operation when we tried to call thinking we needed to book due to its supposed popularity!!

I found the bald man that works there really strange and inappropriate.... he keep staring out us and the kids and even winked at my 12 year old niece!!! He also looked well grubby and quiet touchy feely with some of the staff

Service was slow, food was over nice but over- priced and the music was ridiculously loud. We asked if it could be turned down and it wasn't. Wouldn't bother again.

Newly refurbished and under new management it is much nicer place to be than it has been for a long time. Staff friendly and pleasant and a nice atmosphere. Have only been in for drinks but friends say the food is good.
