Always a great place to visit. Refurbishment is lovely. Food delicious and fresh as always. Staff friendly as always. Kids ate all their food, as did I..definitely be continuing to visit...

I visited the cafe for the first time last week. What a lovely place. Cozy atmosphere, and delicious food. Wide selection of dishes available. Will definitely be returning. The baked goats cheese with honey was incredible

Amazing food, love the new renovation. I had the lost in Hoddesdon breakfast and it was amazing, I was very pleased. The staff was incredibly friendly and it just had a nice vibe.

Been going here my whole life, the food is amazing, the staff are so lovely, there's also a small bar there now which is fun.

Nice and cosy, food is extremely nice but is very oily, bit pricy but where isn't nowadays. Definitely recommend.

Lovely foodwas my first time here and won't be my last

After being a regular customer, an order online was cancelled due to them saying they were too busy to deliver. I called to say I would collect but I was unable to due to my daughter becoming ill which I explained to the worker. Lady/owner phoned my mobile shouting that I was disrespectful and she doesn't care that I'm a longstanding customer. No problems with the food but that level of customer service is unacceptable and let down what I previously considered to be a nice cafe. Disappointing!

Lovely food, lovely staff but the music could be a little louder so you dont have to listen to the table next to you chewing or slurping their tea.

For a quick bite, the bacon roll was spot on with a tasty coffee. The full breakfasts looked epic 👌

Fair price on food, decent food bundles, okay cooked food, tasted alright, nice staff, clean interior and table. Nothing bad to say about the place but nothing great either. If you want to stop in and have a meal then it's a good option but it's not really got anything about it that makes it stand out much. For the quality of food and portion/option, the price was fairly good so might see me back in the future👍

Place was very clean , found it a bit pricey for what we had, eg 1 coffee, 1 latte ,1 carton ribenna two toast, 1apple pie and custard . £12.75

This is one of several cafes along High Street Hoddesdon. There are a wide variety of breakfasts available and the coffee is a good value.

I may become a regular. The food and portion sizes are good.

Lovely staff, quick service, very serviceable food. Great value for money whether you're nipping in for a sandwich or sitting down for a full breakfast. The eggs royale is lovely and a favourite of mine. Specify how you want your eggs or you'll not get any yolk! Sometimes the tables could use a wipe down.

Recently got a takeaway from here. Very tasty and will definitely be ordering again. Ordered the Lasagne and a breakfast, which arrived quickly and was piping hot.

Good menu selection, chose an early Sunday afternoon roast, generous portion, such as I never needed a dessert. Shop wasn't crowded, but it was never empty. I noted that the breakfast menu was varied, and all reasonable priced, as was my roast.

Ordered a fry-up for take-away as I only see good reviews for this place, it arrived on time but the food was truly awful, everything tasted like old oil except for the cardboard bacon and the dry, reheated sausage. I'm hoping I just caught them on a bad day

Nice cafe busy at weekends Clean ,friendly staff, good service ... Careful where you sit as the cafe has a sliding door that people on exit seem to leave open so can be drafty if you sit at the front ...

Went for lunch for family. All food was cooked ok and fresh but the portions were not so good. Whilst the fish and chips was massive, the panini was so thin my husband needed 2 just to feel full. The kids portion was also really tiny. Paid around £30 but not likely to go again.

Food is good and they use quality sausages. They are a bit stingy with the portion size but service is good. Hand sanitizer is available on entry and exit but I feel the tables could have been a little more spaced out.

My wife and I stopped at this Cafe while driving through Hoddesdon on the last May 2019 bank holiday Monday. The cafe looked clean and was quite busy for a bank holiday Monday mid morning (11am). What persuaded us to choose this cafe was the 'Maximum 5 points Score at The Door'. Once can be confident that all food hygiene procedures are complied with. I ordered the big breakfast, with two fried eggs and my wife the 'standard' breakfast. Service was prompt and the staff friendly. The foods came very shortly after we placed the order. The fry up breakfast was delicious and served hot....just how we loved it! The portions were large too.Our breakfast was washed down with toasts and 'beans to ground' coffee and my wife had a lovely hot mug of tea - which was included in the price. Excellent Value! We will definitely visit this cafe next time we are in Hoddesdon.

I have been in a few times, ordered exactly the same thing and depending who you get, determines the price you pay. Not on at all !!!

Me and my daughter go for lunch at least once a week. There's a wide selection of hot and cold food available, pricing is good, portions are huge.

The cafe has a wide range of foods to choose from. The food is very nice but the attitude from the younger staff is plain rude. I asked to pay and she just rudely shifted her head up and down rolling her eyes. I asked to pay again, she did the same thing. Rude. I paid and left. Learn some manners.

Meet with a couple of friends for coffee and a sandwich, clean premises and staff helpful.

And you won’t leave with a burning hole in your pocket either, because not only are the portions good but the prices are very reasonable too. This is a greasy spoon that seems to have a loyal following too. I’ve been a couple of times and have noticed it’s always busy. I must say I am tempted to go again. If you’re hungry and want decent grub at a decent price then I recommend Cafe Delight.

Bright and clean looking. Smart looking toilet initially but actually the seat needed replacing and so did the handle. Nice basin though. Friendly people. Didnt mind that i wanted marmelade on the toast instead of poached eggs etc so flexi. Cash only though 😐 just as well i had lots of shrapnel. A clock on each side of the cafe telling the right time was a very pleasing sight as was The air freshener in the ladies. It must be catching on.

Great value and large portions provided, food was hot and tasty. On arrival a prompt service was provided and food arrived piping hot, on a negative the tea was a little weak and milky

I continue to go here from time to time. I think its actually a little pricey. It smells overpoweringly of food / fryers / etc. It can be noisy. Food still often arrives staggered by a number of minutes. On the plus side: - some of the dishes are very nice - certainly nothing is bad - mostly good - burgers are nice especially - service is quick and very friendly

Hubby and I stopes in for the first time on the off chance at 5.30pm (there are open until 7pm). We ordered two burgers with chips. They were absolutely lovely!! We will certainly be visiting here again soon!

This cafe does the nicest, freshly cooked breakfast in Hoddeson - high quality well cooked and nicely presented food !!! Change the set menus around, choice of what you want and how you want it - this is just a faultless place with attentive staff and a great clean kitchen and dining area !!!

I've been coming to this place for years. The food is great. The staff are fantastic. It's impossible to find fault. Everyone works so hard to please. Certainly well worth a visit.

Mi secreto culpables por los últimos cuatro años. Cada par de meses, o escondidas en mi propia o llevar a mis hijos para una completa en un guiso. Disfrute enormemente, entonces inmediatamente después se sienten culpables y relleno... así dejar unos meses y luego repetir!

No esperes un 5 estrellas pero con buena relación calidad-precio, este hotel no podría ser mejor, la comida es una pila de y es satisfactorio. excelente si quieres fritos y el servicio es siempre con una sonrisa. Los precios son baratos y hay una buena selección. Un café típico británico.
