The Queen's Head in Enfield

Terrible experience here tonight. The reason being that we had ordered chicken wings, a fair amount were covered in blood and undercooked. This has resulted in me vomiting since with what I know is food poisoning. DO NOT ORDER THE CHICKEN WINGS.

We came here for my 30th birthday, the food was delicious and the staff were so accommodating and welcoming. Had a great time would definitely come again!

New ownership in pubs can be hit or miss but Queen's head is much better for it! The food they serve is so so good (50% off food on Wednesdays) and the menu changes frequently (generally same items but always rotating so there is something new on offer), they have two for one cocktails 5-7, nice environment and garden, and the staff are so lovely, especially Georgia!

Best food out of all the pubs in the area by far. New chef is amazing. The service is impeccable. Paula our waitress went above and beyond. Can't wait to return. Would recommend the honey wings and the pizzas.

Lovely staff, seems to have a better menu with more choices for food and specials, also a brilliant atmosphere for football!

Ordered some food and sat outside in the beer garden, noticed the chef was smoking outside then got up to make my food and only put gloves on- I saw this as I went inside to use the toilets (also no toilet paper). Gloves are not hygienic, especially after smoking. Please wash your hands. Wouldn’t recommend, me and my friend left and didn’t eat the food or finish our drinks. I dread to think what they do behind the scenes if this seems like a normal practice

Favourite go to pub. The atmosphere is always lively and the food selection and quality is beyond pub expectations. I would highly recommend for a drink, chill, dinner date or day out with family or friends.

Great pub in Winchmore Hill. Recently taken over by Mason. Great staff who always have a welcome for their clients. Has great music nights and food is lovely. Nice terrace out back.

Came for a couple drinks with some mates. Haven’t been in the area for a long time. Massive improvement from how it used to be. Bar staff are lovely and food is great. Also. Nice beer garden

A lovely pub opposite the station, very nice spacious garden with some cool wall deco (the queens head! lol) Sadly service was pretty sub par on a Thursday evening, kitchen was closed with no reason given and the bar staff was inattentive. We were served one drink and she wandered off to talk to her friends for 5mins before coming back to serve the other drink…

Never usually leave reviews but we were shocked. Barmaids stood around chatting rather than serving. Bar was dirty. Kitchen was dirty and a mess, chefs were loudly laughing and joking instead of cleaning. Seems as though there is a total lack of management. Pint tasted off as well, left after one. Came here a few years ago as we have family in the area but it seems to have slipped massively, what a shame!

Amazing food and service. Drinks are reasonably priced with lots of deals available throughout the week. This will be my new regular pub!

Had a really good meal with my son (nice veggie option recommended by Paula). Great food, very reasonably priced and decent wine. Paula and the team made us feel very welcome and we’ll definitely be going back to support. #ShopLocal !

I went in this weekend to try the new food and it was amazing! Would definitely recommend the smash burger. Staff were lovely and atmosphere was great.

Went here to have a few beers and a bit of food after hearing that it was under new management. Unbelievably, this is basically an Uber Eats/Deliveroo operation with a small pub tacked onto it. They'd sold out of everything on the menu except pizza and a Korean sandwich, thanks to prioritising home deliveries rather than the people actually visiting the pub. The Korean sandwich was absolutely tiny (it arrived on a side plate!) and was just a piece of chicken in a burger bun with some spicy sauce. And it cost £14. Won't be going back in a hurry.

Lovely lively pub with a wholesome feel. Staff are so lovely. The “queens head smash burger” was insane. I had heard someone talk about it so ordered one when I normally wouldn’t order a burger. I think it might be the best burger I’ve had to date. Sort of food that could have a cult following. Will be back

Only two minutes walk from the station! I arrived to a friendly welcome by the new owners. The Queens Head has a lovely atmosphere and was very cosy with several seating options. The beer garden is so pretty too! You must try the Pizza!

Nice little pub, great energy and enthusiastic bar staff. Had the pleasure of meeting the new management, it seems sound. There are also board games in the corner and fun events such as live music and quiz nights through the week. Will definitely be visiting again

The glasses ain’t clean I got given a dirty glass rim it was disgusting

Unfortunately went to the pub today. No highchairs for young children. When asked the staff if they had any, they didn’t know. Even though they had a children’s menu? Due to this had to leave the pub.

I sat in the corner waiting for my friend. I didn’t want to drink alone therefore I wasn’t going to buy a pint till he came. Some middle aged (at least he looked it he might be younger) customer came up to me and tried to pressure me into buying a drink, I told him I was waiting for my friend. He then had a moment of delusion thinking he was staff and asked me for my ID and told me “this ain’t a refuge”. He then walked off after I assured him I’ll buy a drink when my friend comes. 5 minutes later a “man” with a ponytail came up to me and asked me if I was buying a drink. I told him the exact same thing I told the customer (1 of 2 that was there). He told me to buy a pint or leave so I got up to buy one. I kissed my teeth, which in my opinion is an under reaction considering the harassment these “men” decided to put on me. The ponytail “man” then told me to leave which I gladly did. As I was out the door he told me to “keep it stepping”. Very well timed considering I was basically out the door. Bad pub, bad staff and bad customers. The girl at the bar seemed alright though. Shout out to her. Hit me up if you want a job at a place that isn’t run by *****.

Small pub close to train station which is very convenient. I had pint and burger, there were on offer and I enjoyed it very much! Staff was friendly. Very well managed, clean and inviting. Will be back

My wife and I love this small pub. Staff is so polite and happy which is very rare to see, well done! The only downside is your garden closing time? How come other pubs louder than you can have it opened longer? Last night we were here with our friends but didn’t stay long as inside was too hot and outside was nice and cool in the evening but you had to close all garden so unfortunately we ended up going elsewhere

I booked an area at The Queens head for my friend’s baby shower. Paula and all The staff were so helpful and friendly and let us put up decorations on the wall and even let us bring our own cake and sweets. We ordered from from the group buffet menu and everyone attending said how much they enjoyed it. A bottle of Prosecco was also included in the package which was a lovely touch. This is a great local and friendly pub and I highly recommend it whether you’re going in to watch the football or hosting an event. Thank you Paula and the team 5*!

Great pub - Paula is lovely! We went on a Saturday for the karaoke and we can't wait to go back!!

Was at the pub on Friday and the DJ was great played loads of 80’s (my era). Such a fun atmosphere and everyone had a great time! Staff were great as always and Paula is so friendly. Will be back soon!

Love the new garden layout. Cozy pub. Sports shown on TVs Inside and Outside. Needs some high chairs for toddlers. Kitchen closes very early though.

Beer was super and the eclectic mix of locals makes this a must visit plus it's 50 yards from the train station bonus!

What a lovely pub, Paula couldn't do enough to help find me food to eat on the menu (I have a food intolerance) and the food was delicious. The new management are doing well. Can't wait to come back.

Worst pub I’ve ever stepped foot in. Management was very rude and kicked my friends out for not all sitting on one table. This happened while I was in the toilet. The lady came in telling me to hurry up and leave which was a breach of my privacy. When returning to the table my belongings were on the floor and my drink had been poured down the sink. She then refused to give me back my drink or a refund when I had done nothing wrong. AVOID, there is many better pubs with better customer service in the area. Would give 0 stars if I could.

Thought this was a family friendly pub not just a sports bar, however me and my partner went to meet friends at 6.30pm and was kicked out as I had a 3month old with us. The staff said football was on at 8pm so they have changed the 9pm curfew for children. I don’t understand how it is advertised as family friendly I felt the bar staff lack customer service skills. Luckily there are many other nice pubs in the area that let us have an evening meal, with the football on and it wasn’t an issue.

We had a great time here, staff was really welcoming and the Manager Maria was so great with our little one. We will definitely pop by again when in the area and the sun is out, the outside area was so welcoming and cosy. Thank you

Great local boozer with friendly staff

Visited on a Saturday afternoon for lunch and drinks. I had a reservation which I was trying to change but there's no chance of anyone responding to your emails and phone calls so I just had to make a new booking. It's a nice space and the food is decent but the staff make evidently clear that they don't want to be there and they also brought condiments that had expired. When we pointed that out the member of staff just shrugged saying that "these things are good for a very long time and outside the fridge" which is not true for bottles of mayo and ketchup. Then she just brought us another set of expired condinments. Food safety is one thing that you should never mess with.

Popped in for quick drink before a meal on nye around 3pm..no atmosphere...the bar man was quiet with no eye contact and was very cold. I won't be visiting again .
