Great atmosphere and very cheap drinks

Landlord was very friendly and polite, good atmosphere.

Music to loud,owner more interested in serving other people than someone passing just a poor pub alround

My visit to Punch and Judy was an unsettling experience. The owner seemed to be extremely intoxicated and was making inappropriate advances on young girls. The entire place felt like his personal playground rather than a professional establishment. It's clear that the owner has a serious problem with alcohol, and I can't say for sure how much longer this place will be open if things continue this way. Until there's a change in management and behavior, I cannot recommend Punch and Judy to anyone. It's simply not a safe or respectable environment.

Not a bad pub, recommend to anyone

I have recently moved to the town and this pub is the closest to my new home. I went at Christmas on my own and was welcomed by Tony the landlord. Although sadly my favourite beer was not available and I didn’t get a pint of what I usually have until my second trip, (some months later as I was away in the sun!) On return, I had a closer look. Whilst this pub has friendly staff and good cheap beers on tap, the place is a bit dirty and well worn. The customers seem like this too… (There was a young crowd on the table next to me who were friendly and polite, but they did not totally seem like regulars.) This place seems to be popular for pool and footie. Neither are my cup of tea. There sometimes seems more of punch and less Judy at the weekends and I have seen the Police there more than once on my swift walk past the front door these days… It is opposite the infamous (again for punch ups/trouble) The William Hardwicke. Perhaps both best avoided.

Good place if you're short of a telly

Was on a lads weekend about 11 of stumbled across the pub and as soon as we walked through the door we was made so welcome by the staff and the regulars was a great atmosphere we stayed there for several hours to be honest the beer was very good obviously having great cellar management what with line cleaning couldn't fault it in anyway definitely will be returning next year WELL DONE ALL THE STAFF AMAZING JOB

Cheerful sports pub, great staff. Wanted to watch six nations rugby but the football (Caribou Cup final was on) Manager helpfully changed channels on secluded tv so we could watch. Clean loos, good pint, clean tables

Went to Bognor for a weekend to see a friend. Was recommended this pub and so glad we was. Absolutely amazing atmosphere, very friendly and well priced. Highly recommended and will certainly be going back. Thanks Ted, amazing landlord 👍🏽🍻🍹

Such a fun lively atmosphere.. customers as welcoming as the staff.. the landlady and landlord are both welcoming and love to have a laugh with customers.. fantastic pub and good prices..what I would call a PROPER PUB

Very reasonable drinks but that's as good as it gets...Two ladies toilets...one in darkness and no toilet roll in either of them just four empty tubes...walls could do with a lick of paint or a damn good clean around the pool table area...younger clientele (friends on the barman) rude older gentleman more welcoming...here in Bognor for the weekend...visit was late afternoon/early evening Friday and we didn't go back...a shame as it was a pub we had been recommended to visit

Spent a couple of hours here enjoying music then football. Nice spacious pub. Lots of screens. Drinks at reasonable prices. What more could you want.

Just stopped off in Bognor on the way home from Shoreham, the weather was great and I had a lovely fruit cider in a glass with lashings of ice tasted great and refreshing...

Bar was clean staff friendly. They had music playing and sky sports on the TV good pint of Guinness reasonably priced 🙂

Great pub to watch football, frequented mainly by locals. The setting of the tv screens are a bit odd but in the other hand staff are nice folks and probably the cheapest beer in Bognor! I wouldn't classify this pub as family friendly however, gets quite busy on weekends evenings/nights, nice people and good environment!

Noisy crowd of postal workers and manager pretty loud too but great pint and decent prices.

Some of the customers in this pub are a gutter class type of cliental, the management will blatantly allow a particular ginger haired Woman to regularly be aggressive and abusive calling people c&$%t etc, with no consequence as they are part of a large group. The premises regularly doesn’t get security on the door, and a pub with such hostile and abusive clients should be forced to have permanent security. You’d be much better of taking your money across the road where professional door people are employed and the staff actually have some for of basic people skills.

Stag of 21 fellas and staff were absolutely brilliant with us. We spent hours in there. Highly recommend!

This place was absolutely mental we only popped in for a drink to play pool ended up here for 6 hours the land lady is hilarious and loads of fun

Alex and Luke are a breath of fresh air to this town and this pub. I worked here years ago and it was awful and I've watched it over the years, they've really made this place inviting. I hope they're here for the foreseeable future.

The person taking orders is so rude, and he takes your card to settle the bill, why would you do that. He can come with the drinks, serves and even talk so why can't we go to settle the bill. For instance he can copy all our details from the card and use it..what a a bad team, the team before was very good and that was the only reason we use to visit there. Change them if you want our business..

Always get amazing service in here, especially from Hannah. Always friendly and chirpy. I'm quite tight having northern roots and she always manages to make me put my hand in my pocket for 1 more pint! 6 out of 5 * review if I could!

Enjoyed this pub watching Sky sports on tv with wife for 90 min. Drink prices very reasonable. Staff constantly cleaning tables. Coffee available if you fancy a hot drink.

Lovely beer and very affordable

Came here last time we visited Bognor, around five years ago. Then it was called Oceans Cafe & Bar. It was much more cafe than bar. Now it is definately a bar, albeit in an ex shop premises. It was friendly and the drinks cheap. There is a pool table and football on the tv screens.

Do not miss out . We go to Butlins several times a year and always go here. Staff and regulars are so friendly making us so welcome . As last review said they put football on what you ask for even motor racing [ not my cup of tea] and gardening. Had fantastic Sunday afternoon there with jukebox playing what we wanted. Going back there in November and can't wait.

We always make sure we visit Punch & Judy when we’re in Bognor. Jaime and the team always look after us. Can’t believe the comment about not being able to watch the football that was advertised, Jaime always has the football on, and if there’s more than one game they will be shown on different screens so that everyone can watch the game or any sport they want, where possible.Great pub, always a warm welcome, must visit if you’re in Bognor

Went in for a quick pint. Gave up in the end staff just wanted to chat to there friends and regulars. Then walked of and went to the toilet. Was flabbergasted

We arrived at the pub 20 minutes before the FA cup semi final and the bar person confirmed it would be shown but was unfriendly and unwelcoming. However we perservered and ordered drinks and sat down. Kick off time came and went and no game came on. We asked again and the bar person said they didn't have time to organise the TV and we decided to leave and try somewhere else. As we walked out of the pub she shouted at us-"have a nice night.."very loud and sarcastically in front of the other customers. It was very unpleasant and embarrassing. We were pleased to get away and if you like football don't go there unless you like being insulted !

Nice modern pub shows sports has a pool table but space to sit and chat. Drinks prices are excellent and service very friendly. Went there on a Saturday afternoon with friends and was instantly made to feel welcome like a local. Highly recommended and will visit again next time in at butlins.
