Excellent breakfast and value for money

Amazing Drinks - Put would be nice to know prices on inside menu Food - Average , Great portions but food was lukewarm and therefore not fully enjoyable - i.e Chips where cold Service - Need to read checks - ordered Garlic Bread spend £6 and all i got was 2 slices which according to menu should of been £2.99 so a little concerned over paid - also asked for it to comes with mains and came out with starters and then was told i was wrong and then was apologised to afterwards cause i was correct. Wasn't major busy put felt like the service wss below pare if i'm honest.

Went for our monthly get together today with family and it was absolutely brilliant once again, service was amazing, food was excellent and a very special mention to Sharon and Hannah who always go over and beyond their duties in making sure that we are happy with everything. Looking forward to seeing you again on the 22nd June

Brand new menu is fabulous! We loved trying the giant gyros and the tandoor skewers! The place has a great atmosphere and the staff are brilliant! We’ve never had a bad experience here!

Dreadful food, avoid like the plague. Our dips were served cold, burnt and hollow... Apparently they were supposed to be cheese! The dip was a tablespoon of dip served in a takeaway plastic tub. I asked for a cocktail from the menu but was told they didn't have the mix! A Long Island ice tea... What mix do you need apart from the ingredients which should all be there. Thank god I avoided a cocktail mix! Changed to lager which tasted sweet. Then they closed the bar at 9.55 on a Saturday night!

£5.95 buffet breakfast, the quality is actually really good, love the bacon & sausages, the mini hash browns are also good. Staff are pleasant & the restaurant is clean with a lovely atmosphere. I will definitely be returning & would recommend you to try out the breakfast. I will be going back for a carvery soon as well.

We ordered 5 meals and were disappointed with all of them, the food should have matched the description on the menu. I ordered a steak salad, the steak was raw and was cold, the salad consisted of some lettuce, tomatoes and what looked like a whole onion..should have had carrot, cabbage and dressing. One of the child’s meal had stone cold mash and it tasted like powdered potatoes. My daughters steak meal had raw cold mushrooms.. the Mac & Cheese was cold and rubbery..and was in a solid lump so was unsuitable to give to our 1 year old. We also had Nachos the salsa, cheese sauce and jalapeños was minimal and was lumped in the centre of the plate..we basically had a plate of nachos. Oh, the Priory! I've been there a few times, and it's absolutely amazing! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the staff is always friendly and attentive. Typical big pub vibe, relaxed and spacious. Good selection of beers and ales, all had steaks/mixed grills all well cooked, very tasty.

Helpful staff food hot and always being refilled

Came in Saturday 9th for lunch. Was very busy but staff were doing great. Bit of a wait on food but were told this at time of ordering by Sharon. Food was nice and well worth the wait!

Absolutely filthy place. In need of a serious deep clean inside and out. If the public areas and toilets are this filthy just imagine what the kitchen is like. Piles of fag ends right outside the entrance to the kids play areas, in plant pots, all over the floor. If you like a spit and sawdust place that serves mediocre food, then this is the place for you. Only positive is most of the staff are brilliant. The manager needs to wake up, the place is disgusting. They stopped serving at he bar at 10pm, to a group of 20, and they wonder why they don’t make any money. Will definitely never go back, neither will any of the 20 in our party. Clean the place.

Great place. Staff are very accommodating. Come in for breakfast regularly and it’s excellent value. Sharon is very chatty and friendly. Breakfast is fantastic! Most of the staff work really hard.

Staff were polite, helpful. We had carvery and it was lovely. Plenty of meat, veg was nice. Price was reasonable. We were not rushed despite it being very busy.

I visited your pub on weds 6th March I won't be returning My chips were stale and uneatable

Service is shocking, no interaction with customers, food was a long wait and wasn’t the best. Steak was rubbery even though asked for medium rare.

Be warned the whole group no longer offer discounts under the Meerkat Meals Rewards scheme. They do offer their own rewards scheme via the AP but although the AP stated we were entitled to 20% discount because we had made 4 previous visits we couldn't use the discount because the AP doesn't work properly. The staff were no help either, clueless. This and many other chains inflate the menu prices in order that they can offer large tempting discounts of upto 40% to gain customers. The genuine price is the discounted price so you would be wise to ensure you only use them when the offers are available. To get us to use the restaurant with an incentive of 20% discount then refuse to give us the discount is just dishonest. It's probably a matter for Trading Standards to deal with.

Poor experience, tepid main meal , returned and replaced with undercooked chips, inedible hard fried egg, gammon withdirty pan marks . Will never visit the establishment again, not recommended. Absolutely apaulled.

Great friendly staff,very very clean,my missis was away last week for a week,so much easier for me to dine out in hear everyday than cook at home, I had something different everyday,and the value for money was much better than getting a takeaway everyday what I would of done, The actual bar staff well I can say no more there all great,sometimes I take my grandkids in the play area and when they get home all they do is sleep,so I would recommend that for the young ones All in all it’s a great place for me to go as I’m only 5 mins away from home👍👍💯

Just tried to get served at the bar, unless ordering food they don't want to serve, didn't even get eye contact from server. App has failed, can't log in or create a new account so no chance of getting the daily deal either. Don't bother going.

No complaints here, nice beer and food followed by a Thursday quiz - can't beat it

We popped in for a bite on Saturday before doing the weekly shop. My wife and I used to come here a lot when the kids were younger, when they enjoyed going to Fuzzy Eds. We ordered a shared platter and a pint of beer each. It was a fail and disappointing. The Doombar Ale was sour. The small chicken wings had been cremated. The chicken strips were tiny The onion rings were soggy. The hot dip tasted like vinegar with a dash of TABASCO®. A young waitress came over and asked us if everything was OK for us. I started by informing her that that the beer was off and tasted strange. She replied saying that if I had a complaint about the beer then I would have to complain directly to the bar because that wasn't her area. She then walked off so I didn't get to talk about the food. As my wife suggested: it's only a job for her; she can't be expected to really want to know about our opinions.

Just drove to Wellingborough to another pub for breakfast which was closed so headed to the priory. As we entered I asked a member of staff if we could sit anywhere and she said yes. As we sat at a table a very rude woman with a floral dress on said you can’t sit there it’s reserved. I mentioned I’d just asked and she said ‘yeah well not that one sit somewhere else’. Needless to say we left. I presume she was some sort of ‘manager’. She seemed the type.

This place deserves a 5 star foe the excellent prices for both food and drink they have. They have a great selection of food and drink, the food was great! I had the steak with garlic prawns on top and it was only £14.99. The prices ensure they remain competitive in the market and the service was perfect. I am looking fiward to visiting again and trying something new from the huge selection!

Went for lunch with my hubby, glad I had reserved a table as it was extremely busy. Food was good but disappointed that there was no carvery, 45 min wait for food. Excellent service and good atmosphere.

Lovely warm friendly place to go for breakfast. Staff are always friendly and polite. Food always cooked lovely, would like the offer of fresh tomatoes or tinned tomatoes and maybe black pudding. All the family love going here.

We frequent this venue for the buffet breakfast. Good value with comfortable surroundings. Car park is spacious. Next door is fuzzy edds ,so makes the morning more relaxing with the grandchildren.

Here to meet a group of ex colleagues. Tried to contact via Facebook and phone to see if the priory is dog friendly inside rather than outside. No response received 😕 Upshot went without the dog no signs on front doors but one at back going into garden/terrace no dogs as uninsured

Came here on a saturday night with my partner, food was lovely - and also service was excellent, and we didn't have to wait long for food either. Will definitely recommend and come again. Great atmosphere

We had a birthday party. Emily, Maisy and Sophie were brilliant. They are welcoming, carrying and kind. The party was well organised.

It's a chain, order at the counter. The food is ok to be fair for the price its what you would expect or better. Usually service is ok, however sometimes if they are busy there can be a 40 min wait from order to receiving your food. However the times this has happened the lady who took the order warned us before we ordered so you can make the choice to wait or go somewhere else. Overall good price, ok surroundings and ok food or better. Shouldn't be disappointed for what you pay

We went here for Christmas day lunch. The whole experience was absolutely fabulous. The food was delicious and all the staff were amazing. We had a fantastic and hassle free Christmas day. We will definitely be doing it again next year. Worth every penny.

The staff couldn’t do enough to help us, firstly by moving us due to noise so our children would feel more comfortable and then making sure all food was plain not touching and really going above and beyond

Great array of food for breakfast buffet. The only issue is the drinks machine can't always cope with the volume of drinks required for so many attendees. Otherwise a great atmosphere and table had been reserved.

Went for a Sunday roast and despite being very busy and not prebooking we managed to find a table. The food was really good, hot, well cooked and large portions. Good value, would definitely recommend.

I meet with a friend and our Children every Wednesday and go to Fuzzy Edds , we have also have lunch there. Tina who works there is so helping, friendly and a very hard worker she doesn’t stop . The food is great and amazing value , I would highly recommend going .

Visited The Fuzzy Ed’s today with my grandchildren , staff not interested and unhelpful , my granddaughter spilt her drink I asked for a mop was told there’s a roll of tissue paper to use that , they didn’t even offer to help clean it up too busy stood chatting , the food was dreadful I asked to change the rice to chips and was told the chef said he will do it this time but you won’t get many chips . I have never been to such a filthy , unhelpful place and will never return again . I would not recommend anyone to visit.

The food selection was great, really impressed with the variety. The drinks selection is also great. The taste, quality of the food was amazing. The atmosphere of the venue is really welcoming, the decoration was well done. All in all the experience was amazing, would recommend to friends and family.

Doing my final rounds of Wellingborough`s Breakfast venues. Visited on Saturday 18th November. This is an unlimited Breakfast Buffet. I paid approx £7 and some change as i wanted a Black coffee too. The staff were friendly, the tables were nice and clean with all condiments available. Once you pay at the till , the staff give you your cutlery and your cup. You then help yourself to the breakfast selection which includes: Sausages, bacon, eggs, potato tots, beans, tomatoes. A choice of white and brown bread, where you can put them in to toast in the machine (takes a few minutes), help yourself to butter or Margarine with a selection of Jams and Marmalades. So i opted for the sausages, bacon, fried eggs and beans. The breakfast is tasty, the sausages and bacon arent premium quality and your dont expect it to be for a all you can eat buffet, but it was filling and enjoyable, and i didnt need to back up for seconds as i was full. I did have 3 sausages, and 3 bacon along with 2 toast, beans and egss (see photo), but for those with a good appetite, you can certainly fill up. The place was really busy, with a good mix of family`s and couples. Overall, i would go back if passing as it is good value for money, especially if your hungry as this will set you up for the rest of the day.

Heard about the breakfasts here thru work , took the whole family (10 of us) . Booked a table, very easy to do. Breakfast was amazing value, could keep going back for more so everybody loved it. Staff really looked after us, 100% be back.

Family oriented 'food' driven managed style pub. Nice it opens pre 12 but for drinks only, at 12 there is a mob rush to the 1 till you place your order. A very few vegan options, nice enough burger, but if you want fries they are listed as veggie not vegan. Ticket time reasonable, the main salad also reasonable with a little quinoa balancing out the silly amount of onion... Its handy close to the A45, and on a road stop better than a Macs- just

went here for my friends birthday and it was so amazing! the food was so good and the service was kind and friendly. a waitress phoebe brought out our food quickly and with a great smile and made sure everything was okay which it all was. food was lovely and really good for price and i just definitely recommend. service was fast and food came quickly!!

We had a delivery from the restaurant and it was lovely. The food arrived in lovely packaging easy to work out who's meal is who's. The containers they were in are recyclable which is also very good. The food arrived hot and smelling amazing. The only down side we found was the chicken dippers were over cooked and unediable and the butter with the bread and butter was all melted in its container so there was no butter to spread. The meal otherwise was lovely.

We visited here about a year ago and returned earlier today for the £5.49 buffet style breakfast. Things have changed unfortunately but in today's climate it is understandable. There were a few things less on the buffet table and hot drinks are now not inclusive...
