Amazing food, lovely place, my daughter had an awesome 13th birthday meal here

I ordered a vegetable masala on the last occasion and it was absolutely delicious; the best dish I’ve ever had from here. The food is always outstanding! The owner and his staff are fabulous too and go above and beyond Great place to dine in or take away

Delicious selection of dishes, would highly recommend the tandoori mixed grill. Friendly staff and great atmosphere.

Food was nice but a bit bland and lacked heat. Many curries tasted the same. Restaurant is nice but a bit crampt. Staff are welcoming friendly and attentive. Good for vegetarians.

Having worked in 4 Indian restaurants in lowestoft. Some of the best and busiest in the area ...very disappointed!! . I've reheated many Indian meals with no problems this meal had a greasy film . The veg dishes tasted all the same. The takka Dall was missing. £165 order. Had to pay £5 delivery for a 3 minute drive up road. No extras ...in lowestoft would have been , free poppadoms and pickles..free onion bhajis , and the top of town Indian will give you free tikka or couple of main dishes chucked in for that price...I'm not looking for the freebies , but there was no going out of the way or going beyond from this restaurant...we ll be taking away from lowestoft when we visit family for an Indian next time...and it had to be cash ...well I hope you put my order through your books 😉..like I said I've worked in many Indian restaurants. Step your game up. Or get a new chef.

Wonderful food! Once of the best Indians around

This has always been our favourite Indian restaurant but tonight we were a little disappointed. The food tasted lovely but the portions wee so much less generous. The onion bhajis were tiny and the keema naan had no meat in it. My shaslik tasted nice but there was less chicken and peppers. I understand that food prices have risen but it doesn't justify the bhajis being half the size at the same cost. It's the first time we left feeling so disappointed.

Obviously busy on a hectic Saturday evening, and we turned up without a booking. But they worked hard to fit us in and we were so glad. The meal was good and the menu comprehensive. Well done!

My wife and I visited this Restaurant last week. Lovely food, really friendly owner, great location, very clean, parking opposite . We will definitely go back when we are in Framlingham again.

Took the wife there for a quiet Birthday treat. Food excellent, staff great. If there was a complaint, it was a bit small. I couldn't visit the wc after the meal as the back room tables are squashed in so tight. Minor problem really if I was desperate I'm sure I've have made it. Recommend to anyone.

Called for a takeaway wearing our wellies and scruffs and ended up eating in. Very warm welcome. Very happy staff and the food was excellent. Will definitely be back. Top marks

This is the Indian restaurant my wife and I go to when we want a takeaway. The food is consistently tasty at reasonable prices. I recommend the chicken tikka - it is moist, delicious, and flavoured well. The staff (especially the owner) are always friendly and accommodating. I'd recommend this place to anybody looking for a tasty Indian meal.

Tried a delivery for a change with friends eating alfresco. Everyone said how tasty the food was and very filling. It arrived still nice and hot and was excellent as the eat in and takeaways are. Certainly gained a few supporter in the friends that eat with us.

The gentleman fitted the 4 of us in as we hadn’t booked. We come up from Kent for a long weekend with the kids. We fancied a curry and the restaurant didn’t disappoint. One of the best Indians we’ve had. Very reasonable priced. So much taste and flavour. The restaurant was fully booked and loads of people collecting takeaways which is a good sign. Highly recommend.

We were excited to try this as it seems to be loved by locals. Food was a bit bland for an Indian. We had makhani and another mild curry. The rice and naan sides are TINY. Food also took a very long time to arrive.

Had a very busy day so a tasty takeaway was needed. Dilly and the team did an excellent job and I had a quick beer while I waited. I did see a recent review over stating the price of beer in the prince at £7 plus. That's utter rubbish and seems to be someone holding a grudge or misrepresenting. If I saw something over charged I would bring it up with the owner and not winge on here.

Excellent relaxed meal tonight and the food was top rate (again). The guys know how to cook an excellent curry and I am very specific in my likes and they hit the spot ever time. Very consistent, excellent quality and quantity ever time. Well done guys and thanks for tonight.

Best biryani i have ever had, best restaurant in framlingham, been coming here for a long time and have never been disappointed would recommend to anyone.

Last few visits here have not been so great and after the last experience I am afraid we will not be going back. Service was slow and poor, I checked my order 3 times and I still got the wrong dish when it finally arrived almost an hour later. The place was not full so I can only guess phone in takeaways take priority. The prices have shot up; £7.95 for a Cobra, £5.25 up the road. I am happy to pay for good service and good food, but felt I was being ripped off here as I did not get either.

Our food took an hour to.arrive.after ordering and then only after we had gone to find a waiter and other guests in the room had all left. Muttered apology and nobody came to ask us if the everything was okay or seemed remotely interested from them on either. So sadly it was a downbeat dining experience. Food unusual, very mild and bland, almost sugary quite creamy. Unidentified stuff in different versions of pale sweetish sauces. A matter of taste but our group was underwhelmed. We have decided not to return here in future.

Ordered at 6:45 didn’t come until 8:50. We were missing two curries and the food was cold. It ruined the end to the night and won’t be ordering from this place again. Delivery was also £8 for a 10 min journey.

This must be one of the best restaurants I have been to. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was comforting and the staff were amazing and soooo kind. If I go to Framlingham again I know exactly where to eat!

Another excellent meal at the prince of India. The team are really doing consistent good food and on a busy night like to night (valentine's) the food was exactly as ordered, tasty, piping hot and plentiful. We keep going back as we have tried all around but have settled with the best Thanks all for your service.

Friendly welcome to this small but pleasant restaurant. Large varied menu which the waiter was happy to explain any dishes we were unfamiliar with. It was good to see some dishes that you don’t see routinely elsewhere. Food was great and the service excellent. Not the cheapest Indian restaurant I’ve visited but I would say the quality made it good value regardless. Would definitely return and recommend it to anyone.

Just moved into Fram, our first takeaway last night. We are very into Indian food and cook a fair curry ourselves. Absolutely first class! The best Jalfrezi curry I’ve tasted for years, accompanying sides and rice excellent. Thank you Tilly and your amazing chef!

Absolutely fantastic food, we visited tonight for the first time and ordered a takeaway. As expected from Indian hospitality, the front of house and staff are impeccably dressed, and really friendly. We will definitely visit again.

The Prince of India has really good food and very service minded staff. The flavors are on point and the popadoms with chutneys is a great way to start of a meal that will not disappoint.

We were staying in B&B about 15 minutes away and hadn’t booked anywhere for dinner so headed into Framlingham to try and find somewhere to eat. We had a couple of places in mind but they full but no worries as we came across the Prince of India and quite simply it was delicious, the best curry we’ve had in a long time!

I should have reviewed this place a long time ago….. whether we have eaten in or like this evening, had a take away, the food has always been first class. The front of house is an absolute gentleman, smart, courteous and extremely professional. We were lucky enough to have our dinner delivered by him this evening! You cannot fail to have a great meal here.

Bland flavour with mediocre spicing. Rice was lovely but otherwise pretty poor TBH . Service was good but doesn’t make up for lack of flavour . Reviews I had read but pretty good but for us won’t be back!

Food is OK but when food arrived they had added an extra £3.50 on top of the £4.50 quoted on their website for delivery to our postcode. Would of been nice to have been pre warned of the price increase as had to find extra change luckily we had some . So beware if you in bedfield its £8 delivery!

Friendly and helpful staff, and of course yummy food

Had a takeaway on Friday night and we generally found all the dishes were OK apart from way to much sauce and not enough meat in the dishes. Also once again the naan bread which comes in a insulated bag was stone cold.

Wonderful restaurant with lovely staff. Food was delicious and hot, and restaurant had a lovely ambience about it. Highly recommended.

After a day at the Seaside in Southwold, we all decided on a curry for dinner and despite the distance, this was by far the best rated! I have to say it was probably the nicest food I've had in a long time. The Staff were incredibly friendly and full of advice on what flavours and curries compliment other dishes. I decided to have a Chicken Tika Phall for the first time and it was VERY hot yet still full of flavour! The dish is apparently difficult to cook correctly so my compliments to the chef! Every other dish we ordered went down a treat! I'd highly recommend this as a dine in/take out resturant to anyone who loves real Indian food. A lovely way to end the day, thanks guys 👍
