Service was slow. The food (roast beef sandwich, with fries & salad) was poor and covered with what tasted like cream, not Djorn mustard. I told the waitress that the food was not great, and she just shrugged her shoulders and smiled. The coffe was luke warm, only average and expensive. My partner had the filter coffee which she said was awful. The food and service is not as good as it was several years ago, what a shame.

We come here fairly often, its not that local for us (about 35 mins away) but its worth the drive compared to where we live. I love the fact that the staff are alway so friendly, it really does make a difference, management should acknowledge this to their staff as these days it is rare to see. The food is always good, we usually opt for breakfast/brunch or a coffee and cake (love that you cover the cakes/scones). Lovely seating area outside - keep up the high standards, it is much appreciated by us.

We visited the Potting Shed Restaurant for an afternoon tea to celebrate our anniversary and opted to have ours in the yurt. We were served a lovely selection of tasty sandwiches, delicious cakes and scones, everything was so fresh and made to a very high standard, it was faultless and we can honestly say it was the best afternoon tea we have ever had. We had to take some of the cakes home which we enjoyed later. The staff were friendly and very attentive making sure we had everything we needed. We were so glad that we chose this venue and wouldn't hesitate to to book there again.

Our third visit to this wonderful dining venue, based within St Peter’s Garden Centre, in Norton, Worcester. Our first visit was so enjoyable we took 5 members of our family members there on our second visit. This third occasion was equally as enjoyable with fast, efficient service, good choice of menu and courteous, helpful, friendly staff, one of whom, Maxine, remembered our last visit some 5 months ago, where we sat and how many of us were present….including one four legged member! Thank goodness we paid the bill !! Such excellent service and quality of food must warrant a further Trip Advisor review to spread the word as to how enjoyable The Potting Shed dining experience is, not that they need more business as the place was very busy, on a blustery Spring Monday morning. This is further testament to how many folk enjoy their time at this fine eatery. Thank you ‘Potters’… especially Maxine, we look forward to our next delicious dining date with you all very soon.

We visited the Garden Centre today, which was excellent, & decided to have a spot of lunch. It was busy, but we were promptly given a table. We both opted for the Pie of the Day, which was Chicken with Smoked Bacon, it came with seasonal vegetables, either Chips or Mashed potato( we opted for the Chips) & came with a pot of Gravy(in a small sauspan). The meals arrived promptly, especially considering it was busy & was delicious, could not fault anything, great size portions too. We also had drinks, I had an Americano, which was nice & flavoursome & my other half, she had a large Orange juice, which was also good. Customer service was excellent & the Kitchen worked like a well oiled machine. We will definitely be back again in the near future.

We had a voucher for two breakfasts for £15. But that is for the basic breakfast and I wanted the larger one that is £4 dearer, so I offered to pay the extra £4, but was told the deal did not allow me to do that. But I could order extra ingredients individually. I think that is inflexible and stupid, so I had a smaller breakfast and they lost £4. The sausage had, shall we say, an unusual and distinctive flavour - not one I would order again. Coffee is extra with no free refills of basic black filter coffee. We were given a sugar sachet each and a spoon each, which we didn't need, so that would have gone to waste and more washing up. Two pub chains within half a mile offer a much better value deal, even without the vouchers, so no more breakfasts here for me.

My wife and I have been coming to St Peter’s Garden Centre for years now, after a wander around we’ll visit The Potting Shed for breakfast or lunch, neither disappoint, if you’re thinking of coming for breakfast (especially on a weekend) get here early, it’s so popular it fills up rapidly as they don’t take bookings, there’s been a few occasions where we’ve come for breakfast on a Sunday morning about 10:30 to be told they’re full. (I should point out that’s our problem for leaving it so late, not theirs) Clearly there’s some impatient customers (who’ve written reviews) who don’t like to wait for their food or drink, personally we never have an issue if there’s a wait, it’s a very busy restaurant so it’s to be expected, staff are always consistently friendly and professional and do their best. The food is always excellent, very generous portions and good value for money, today (28/12) we popped in for lunch, I had Fish & Chips and my wife had a Prawn & Crayfish Sandwich, both were really nice and huge portions! Again, one reviewer said it’s expensive here, they couldn’t be further from the truth, you get excellent value for money no question! Coffee is amazing too! One cup is never enough..

The waitress missed one of the meals out when submitting our order - fair enough, mistakes happen and she apologised. But instead of making sure the error was corrected promptly, it seems a fresh order was submitted to the kitchen for the missing meal with no extra priority. This was evident as I sat watching other tables be served the meal I was waiting for. Half an hour later I asked for the bill and for the missing meal to be cancelled, as by then the others had finished their meals. Food was nice for those that were fed, maybe a tad overpriced. I'd encourage management to train their staff in basic customer service, and save future customers from going hungry!

Popped in for an impromptu lunch whilst having a look around the garden centre. Have visited several times in the past (pre Covid) and could not believe the prices that were being charged ! £12.99 for a sandwich is absolutely ridiculous ! Incredibly noisy and inhospitable atmosphere - more reminiscent of a school canteen ! We promptly left without ordering and visited a lovely local pub where the prices and value for money are far more realistic.

The actual garden centre and indoor shopping is lovely. However, the restaurant service and attitude of some staff is absolutely shocking. We visited yesterday after a break of a couple of years. We look after our 1 year old granddaughter on Monday’s and take her to a play area in the mornings and then lunch each we. We decided to try St Peters yesterday. Upon arrival a lovely, pleasant fair haired lady seated us. Then after waiting 10mins with a hungry toddler a n assistant eventually came to take our order. I asked if they had a facility to warm baby food and was told no, but she could bring a bowl of hit water. I politely said it would take too long to warm the jar of food as she was too hungry, was there a microwave? She became clearly irritated and said ‘yes but I am very busy right now so I can’t do it at the moment’. She then took our food order. My husband asked for a single shot coffee with cream for me as I eat a Keto diet. She said ‘we don’t serve it with cream, it’s more expensive’. To which we said ‘that’s ok, we’ll pay extra’. She then deeply sighed, so I said ‘just milk then’. We waited a further 5mins and my very dark, strong coffee arrived without either milk or cream. I asked twi different waiters for milk on separate occasions, but non arrived so my husband went to the counter to get some. By which time my coffee was cold and undrinkable. I then got up to go to the counter to ask for the baby food to be warmed as our granddaughter was getting very upset. The original waitress spotted me and challenged me saying ‘I said I would do it when I had a moment’. I replied that babies don’t understand having to wait so long and you can’t just expect them to wait

We used to really enjoy the self help breakfast which was so popular up till covid came. They rightly so introduced an order system when reopening and at the same time hiked the prices up. Went this morning for the first time in 18 months and still ordering only and prices up even further. Restaurant was almost empty when we went in at 9.45. It’s our last visit. £17 for two sausage sandwiches and a cup of tea us too high and the crusts on the bread was really hard going. This is a garden centre not a high street restaurant

Our second visit to this wonderfully inviting Worcester ‘Garden Centre Restaurant’. On this occasion we invited our family to join us on this visit and everyone enjoyed EVERYTHING about their dining experience. Met by Maxine, who arranged for our table for 6 + a Dog. She was so welcoming and professional. Once seated, we could not have had better service from the delightful Lesley, who took our orders and served us throughout our 2 hour stay. She too was friendly, courteous, efficient and again, professional. It makes such a difference to have good waiter/waitress service. Somebody to care and cater for your every need. Our dining experience at The Potting Shed was once again an enjoyable and memorable one. Our food was served swiftly, hot, plentiful and beautifully presented. Everyone received and ate everything they ordered, without any issue and wasted not a crumb. For me, the Vegan Moroccan Vegetable Tangine, with Giant Couscous is a favourite. Some TripAdvisor reviewers suggested the cost was a tad on the high side, but as a seasoned diner, I would always prefer to pay that little bit more and enjoy superb fayre and the best customer service….The Potting Shed offers both in abundance. See you soon Potters …for another fabulous feed !

Only one person can leave the table to make the order at a new, fully screened kiosk... (No Cash)While waiting for our food... We saw a few people finish the meals a leaveEverything was removed from the table, all the chairs and the table and were de-sanitize, the table was then re-laid with de-sanitize, Condiments, Menus and the cutlery in sealed bagsWhen our meals arrived they were placed by the side of the table on a Butlers' Tray & StandWe had to move the food to the Table (The Waitress said that she cannot touch the plates)... We went for a sandwich and cake as a treat. At the coffee shop counter we were directed to the restaurant counter. Given no menu, we enquired about sandwiches. Prawn we asked? Yes, certainly. 2 sandwiches were rung up and then the cake and coffees. Then I saw the price!£8.49 for one sandwich, I exclaimed. Well they come with garnish we were told. Are they baguettes then? And we could share one? No, we were told, two thick slices of bread. I gulped. We sat down. When the sandwiches arrived we were astounded. Half the plate was indeed a thick sandwich, 50% prawn, 50% avocado. The other half of the plate was a huge salad and coleslaw. Had we been told of the salad I could have asked for no onion. But we were not. And the prawn sandwich was a mis-description too!The manager was called and all he offered was a take away box for what we couldn’t eat. Pineapple cake, a little dry. Coconut cake was very lemony, lemons not in the label description. There must have been all of four tables taken and the staff greatly outnumbered the customers at 3pm. I’m fairly sure all of you are quite commercially savvy and can see that this formula is not destined to work in these desperate times.

I have yet to find a better breakfast , great price, wonderful selection, high quality bacon and sausage. If I could start every morning with a Potting Shed Breakfast I would be a happy and contented man until my dying day

£5.99 for 6 items, you cannot go far wrong with that. Super tasty sausages, excellent value for your money. Filter coffee is also one of the best I've tasted.

An excellent lunch of Chicken Curry and Roast Ham, with very good vegetables, was enjoyed in pleasant ambient surroundings. A really good fruit trifle rounded off the meal. All the staff were extremely helpful and attentive.

Decided to go for a Sunday Morning breakfast with my son. We went to the Potting Shed and we both had a great breakfast. The food was excellent, well cooked, very tasty and a very good choice of items. Staff were very helpful and all of them smiling and looked like they wanted to be there. Great value for money too. Well done keep up the good work!!

One had a sausage and mushroom sandwich , well the mushrooms were not cut up just a pile of whole mushrooms shoved on top of wait for it !!!! 2 sausage those were cut , I had a 6 selection breakfast, bacon very hard and over cooked ( tried to find a normal cooked piece) never happened, fried egg was also over cooked mushrooms watery. One also ordered a eggs Royale way too much sauce . Drinks were ok

Three of us called here for lunch .I had the soup and sandwich deal of vegetable & stilton soup with egg mayonnaise and cress The others had tuna mayonnaise on baked jacket potatoes and salad .To follow coffees for them and a flat white for me with a slice of toffee and banana cake with fresh cream filling .I have to say that my sandwich was one of the best egg mayonnaise ones I have ever had and the soup was equally tasty!. My slice of cake really good and the cakes here all look good and the place lives up to its reputation. Flat white really good too!

We often visit here for a cup of tea and a cookie. Today we had my free birthday cake for two as we have a loyalty card for the Garden Centre the restaurant is located in. The selection of cakes is great and all baked on premises. There is also a large hot food area which is extremely popular. It is a great place to go for a meal or a cup of tea/coffee and cake.

I pop in here quite often with my mother to treat her. Usually we come for the fresh baked scones and a pot of tea. The scones are very good indeed although a little pricey. I sometimes have a breakfast which is also very good. The quality of the produce really shows and makes it a real treat. What was sometghing of a let down was the Christmas lunch we had recently. I think in general all of the veg was just that bit undercooked. The roast potatoes were pale, the new potatoes to firm and the sprouts a bit like bullets. Crushed into the rather watery gravy they softened up somewhat. So that was a fail in my view but also the price of a glass of soft drink was fairly eye watering.

Visited this restaurant a few days ago to take advantage of their two Christmas dinners for £12. Very disappointed the roast potatoes were pale and hard and the new potatoes under cooked as well as some of the vegetables. Not worth the full price of £9.99 each when you could go to a cavery in the area and get a better meal for a log less

Visited the garden centre on the way to visit the Worcester Christmas Market with our local Horticultural Society. Lovely place. Had some coffee in the restaurant although we never had anything to eat. It was a very nice pleasant place. Had we wanted to eat there would have been a good selection to choose from.

Visited for lunch and enjoyed a great snack in a lovely restaurant. A popular place due to the wide range of food available and value for money from light bites, sandwiches to hot meals. Good range of hot and cold drinks too compliment the menu. All tastes catered for and all appetites. Well worth a visit after a stroll round the well stocked garden centre. Very friendly staff too who worked hard to ensure that although busy there was no wait in ordering or being served.

Quality ingredients in their Buffet style breakfast, make this place stand out from the local competition. Very busy at times, especially with young mum's and their children, the restaurant is big enough to cater for all ages. The 6 item breakfast at £5.99. is good value,( includes toast), but be careful, it is too easy to load your plate with all sorts of goodies!!. Plenty of choice, and well cooked and presented. Staff are friendly and efficient, and plentiful, no rude "nail varnish examiners" here.

As a frequent solo diner around all of the Cotswolds, I have frequented many local eateries and have previously stayed at the Crown. Last night I thought I would indulge myself by dining there. I had two starters rather than one main. The service was excellent, the team were friendly and attentive and the food was 1st class!! Thank you Reece, you really are a top chef, funds permitting I may come back again tonight !!

We meet our friends here on Sunday 7th of July 2024 for a traditional Sunday Lunch. We were not disappointed. The service from the team was fantastic and the food was great. I had a beef roast which can be hit and miss wherever you go, and it was cooked to perfection. Nice dollop of gravy and Puds were lovely. Well presented food.

Really disappointed with the Father Christmas experience… please don’t spend your hard earned money on this, we felt so underwhelmed and just glad our daughter is young so she didn’t notice how poor it was. Paid £45.50 for 2 adults and 1 child. The elves didn’t have a script, Father Christmas wasn’t very enthusiastic and sat at the front of the barn reading out names and what the children would like… but it wasn’t very clear and all seemed as though they didn’t know what they were doing. Had a 1 second photo with Father Christmas and then proceeded to wait 10 minutes for a bag of sweets… the toy shop is a good idea. 1 toy per child… however for the price of the experience and a £6 toy. The figures don’t add up. You can make reindeer food, and effort has gone into creating the set. Really sorry but we won’t be back. Wouldn’t recommend with children older than 3.
