The Pot Still in Glasgow City

Great pub if you like whiskey, for which it has an unrivalled selection. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly, friendly customers - often, who are from the four corners of the earth.

We didn't eat, six of us just enjoyed a lovely whisky drinking evening at the Potstill. The evening was lovely, the service excellent and the variety of whiskies was off the scale!! Sally however went above the call of duty when I mislaid my phone. She took my friend's mobile and stayed late to go through CCTV footage. She spotted that I had lent my phone to my friend and then at 1.30am reported this by text to the other friend. Sally, thank you, your customer care was truly exceptional and we all really appreciated it.

Admittedly, Dublin didn't do much for me, but THIS spot was a gem!

Late night visit and yet popular. Remarkable selection of whiskey with staff climbing high to access various bottles. Draught selection is understandably lesser; IPA wasn't of my liking. Would recommend for selection of whiskey.

Out of pies so couldn't test the food. Loved the whisky samplers, a good way to try whiskies without harming your wallet or your liver. Friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Great pub for whiskey lovers. The selection of Scottish classics is more than large. The selection ranges from standard bottlings to rare bottles, and the prices are reasonable. Anyone who likes to drink whiskey should find a dram here. This is matched by an atmospheric ambience and capable staff who have the large selection under control.

Going in as a person with little knowledge of Scotch whiskey could have been very intimidating, but they were so knowledgeable that it was an absolute pleasure. I will be back there every time I am in Glasgow.

What an incredible little bar this is! An absolutely monumental range of whisky available - it has to be seen to be believed as the bottles are simply everywhere! The staff are friendly and can help you choose a whisky to suit your palette (if that is your thing of course!). We happened to go there as they were hosting a tasting by The Glasgow Distillery and the place soon filled up. The atmosphere inside was brilliant, just lots of happy people enjoying the buzz. Go check it out, you wont regret it.

After a long day spent traveling from Texas, USA to Glasgow, we concluded our day at The Pot Sill. Although the line seemed long, our time spent waiting flew by while we looked at the giant selection behind the bar. Chris was very knowledgeable and helped us with choosing which whiskeys were perfect for us. Would definitely go back!

With over 1000 bottles of whisky, you’ll definitely find a whisky to your liking. Bartender are super friendly in giving recommendations; just let them know your taste pallet profile. Love the decor and ambience. Ever for a weekday, there was a good crowd with both locals and tourist. For some light bar snacks, the pies are delicious and good prices. A true hidden gem for those visiting Glasgow.

This is a fabulous place. And if you like whisky - definitely a place to come. knowledgeable staff and incredible selection of whisky with some really nice beers too. What a brilliant pub.

What an amazing first night in Glasgow thanks to Pot Still! Emma was absolutely brilliant and welcoming. My husband was admittedly overwhelmed by all of the whisky options but of course the staff helped!

This is a very popular spot. On our Friday night visit the place was packed. Bar service is fast & efficient. Their beer selection & array of whiskys is impressive. As soon as we walked in a guest offered to buy us a beer. We sat with other guests & everyone was througfhly enjoying themselves. A great place to start, spend or end your evening.

Exceptional place for both traditional homemade pies at a fabulous price and an exquisite array of whiskeys. There is also a varied ales and drafts on tap. Old school beautiful comfy feel to the place. The staff are very knowledgeable and passionate about their whiskey and their place of work. A must if you have a passion of the whiskey kind.

I'd never heard of this venue, but I was with Wiffy and her pal visiting from 🇺🇸 who both love proper whisky. I don't, but they have good vodkas and rums, so it was brilliant for all. The place was pretty busy, so more bums than seats, but you can stand and drink and hopefully grab a table before you can't stand 😉.

We came in on St Patrick's day for a drink. The atmosphere was amazing and the bartender was quick for how busy it was. We had a good time before moving on to the next stop.

Tremendous proper pub with as good a whisky selection you'll find anywhere, and most importantly it's really reasonably priced. On a weekend it's absolutely rammed but the staff are great, the Guinness is good and the pies are fantastic. Did I mention the whisky?

Fantastic proper pub, with a great atmosphere and friendly staff. 4 Real Ales on, unfortunately not Handpulls, they were instead assisted taps, but all Scottish beers and the two we had were delicious and great condition considering. Very aesthetically pleasing with over 1000 whiskeys available and on display. The pub did homemade pies as well that looked good and were great value for money, we intend to head back and try them out!

Great pub specializing in whiskey but has a full bar with beers and all other spirits. They have a small menu of Scottish traditional pies! The staff is very nice. Highly recommend.

Decent pub with great beer taps and an excellent selection of whiskys. The staff are brilliant and you can see why this has become a tourist hot spot. As it is a small pub that fact makes space a premium at peak times and during the summer months. Still, worth a visit on a rainy Wednesday afternoon or a nice rendezvous point before heading on.

The worst kept secret in the world of Scotch Whisky - this is probably the best whisky bar in Scotland - nothing fancy or pretentious about it, just a good old fashioned pub that happens to have one of the best selections of drams you will see in any bar in the world and with friendly and knowledgeable staff who will help you pick a nice dram if you are flummoxed by what you're seeing. Pub tends to be get quite busy, owing to it's draw but is a wonderfully cosy haven for a beer, a dram, a pie and to soak up some good Glasgow chat

Como un grupo apareció un viernes por la noche con la esperanza de tomar unos whiskys tranquilos y resultó que apenas podíamos entrar por la puerta estaba tan lleno. Volvimos temprano un sábado por la tarde cuando era un poco más tranquilo (pero solo justo) y logramos conseguir una pequeña mesa. Disfrutamos de la gran variedad de whisky que tenían en oferta y disfrutamos de nuestro tiempo allí y sin duda volvería, pero evitaría los tiempos más populares para beber. Solo un poco decepcionados de que no parecían estar haciendo sus peleas de whisky en el momento en que visitamos.

Not sure about food, I didn’t have any so I’ll assume is okay but the strong suit is beverages and boy they have an extensive selection. Staff is nice and friendly, just have to ask and they will support you for an amazing experience. A city must I should add
