Great atmosphere, music and traditional beer!!

What an amazing first night in Glasgow thanks to Pot Still! Emma was absolutely brilliant and welcoming. My husband was admittedly overwhelmed by all of the whisky options but of course the staff helped!

Will be back each time I am in Glasgow

This is a very popular spot. On our Friday night visit the place was packed. Bar service is fast & efficient. Their beer selection & array of whiskys is impressive. As soon as we walked in a guest offered to buy us a beer. We sat with other guests & everyone was througfhly enjoying themselves. A great place to start, spend or end your evening.

Let's be honest - Glasgow is not a recommendation for anyone. If you still have the difficult fate of being in the city, a visit to “The Pot Still” is a must! Small but cozy pub with an above-average selection of whiskey. The certificates displayed speak for themselves. Anyone who is ever in Glasgow should do themselves a favor and stop by here - it's worth it!

Exceptional place for both traditional homemade pies at a fabulous price and an exquisite array of whiskeys. There is also a varied ales and drafts on tap. Old school beautiful comfy feel to the place. The staff are very knowledgeable and passionate about their whiskey and their place of work. A must if you have a passion of the whiskey kind.

I'd never heard of this venue, but I was with Wiffy and her pal visiting from 🇺🇸 who both love proper whisky. I don't, but they have good vodkas and rums, so it was brilliant for all. The place was pretty busy, so more bums than seats, but you can stand and drink and hopefully grab a table before you can't stand 😉.

Good ambience, people friendly. No food service, budget friendly, varieties of whisky available. Don't forgot about the Malt of the month, self service

We came in on St Patrick's day for a drink. The atmosphere was amazing and the bartender was quick for how busy it was. We had a good time before moving on to the next stop.

Small but fab. Been meaning to pop in here for ages and finally made it and not disappointed. Lovely ambience. Fairly crowded but not painfully so. Also, no football or background music to spoil the chat.

Tremendous proper pub with as good a whisky selection you'll find anywhere, and most importantly it's really reasonably priced. On a weekend it's absolutely rammed but the staff are great, the Guinness is good and the pies are fantastic. Did I mention the whisky?

Fantastic proper pub, with a great atmosphere and friendly staff. 4 Real Ales on, unfortunately not Handpulls, they were instead assisted taps, but all Scottish beers and the two we had were delicious and great condition considering. Very aesthetically pleasing with over 1000 whiskeys available and on display. The pub did homemade pies as well that looked good and were great value for money, we intend to head back and try them out!

Again, this is the place to go if you seeking for a neat dram. Comprehensive selection of all the scottish whiskys you have to know.

Great pub specializing in whiskey but has a full bar with beers and all other spirits. They have a small menu of Scottish traditional pies! The staff is very nice. Highly recommend.

Get there early to make sure you can sample the super Scotch pies. I had haggis and black pudding pie with beans - scrumptious! My friend enjoyed the massive selection of whiskies and was helped in her selection by knowledgable staff. I had a couple of halves from the good selection of cask ales. Not a pretentious place - good old fashioned grub and drink served by friendly staff

Wow, what a find. Recommended by the staff at the Mini Grill Restaurant. The staff were amazing helping us select a few whiskys and gins to try. They were so knowledgeable and passionate about their craft. Whiskey from £2 to >£500. Go!

Decent pub with great beer taps and an excellent selection of whiskys. The staff are brilliant and you can see why this has become a tourist hot spot. As it is a small pub that fact makes space a premium at peak times and during the summer months. Still, worth a visit on a rainy Wednesday afternoon or a nice rendezvous point before heading on.

The worst kept secret in the world of Scotch Whisky - this is probably the best whisky bar in Scotland - nothing fancy or pretentious about it, just a good old fashioned pub that happens to have one of the best selections of drams you will see in any bar in the world and with friendly and knowledgeable staff who will help you pick a nice dram if you are flummoxed by what you're seeing. Pub tends to be get quite busy, owing to it's draw but is a wonderfully cosy haven for a beer, a dram, a pie and to soak up some good Glasgow chat

Volvimos temprano un sábado por la tarde cuando era un poco más tranquilo (pero solo justo) y logramos conseguir una pequeña mesa. Disfrutamos de la gran variedad de whisky que tenían en oferta y disfrutamos de nuestro tiempo allí y sin duda volvería, pero evitaría los tiempos más populares para beber. Solo un poco decepcionados de que no parecían estar haciendo sus peleas de whisky en el momento en que visitamos.

Not sure about food, I didn’t have any so I’ll assume is okay but the strong suit is beverages and boy they have an extensive selection. Staff is nice and friendly, just have to ask and they will support you for an amazing experience. A city must I should add

My go to pub for beer & whisky. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable and always have time for you to select a dram. Haven't had the pies as they tend to be sold out but perhaps that speaks volumes.

Didn't try the pies, too occupied looking at the amazing selection of whisky and, of course, trying a few. It's always best to ask the price before you buy as you may get a surprise you don't really want. Great atmosphere and no shortage of conversation comparing tasting notes with locals and visitors from all over the world. It's definitely a place to call in whenever you visit Glasgow, even if you're not a whisky drinker. Whisky of the week is a great starting point for price and quality.

Experience pure Scotch whisky. The bartender will ask you what you like and give you a choice from a huge selection of whiskies! I stayed for 2 days, but I stayed there twice, the first time was for a sweeter whiskey, and the second time I had a rare item from the Isle of Arran. I received it. The customers were also very friendly and talked to me both times, which helped me deepen my understanding of Scotland and whisky.Glasgow has many Japanese restaurants, and the University of Glasgow welcomes Japanese people. I'll give it to you! In fact, maybe it's because I'm young (I'm a guy), but I was treated to treats both times without saying a word! They were all friendly people. It was really fun and I was able to thoroughly enjoy Scotch whisky. It used to be a difficult impression, but it completely changed in the last two days! It's so delicious and you can really experience Scotland! If you're going to Glasgow, you should go to this! It's about 7-8 euros per drink 🔥 I really enjoyed it so I had to comment here.

Excellent whisky bar with a ridiculous number of whiskies to choose from, my only criticism really - too many. However, the barman was a walking encyclopedia and knew where everything was, so all was well. A terrific, friendly atmosphere and fair pricing completed a very enjoyable 1st - but hopefully not last - visit! 👏🏼

I have enjoyed the Pot Still on a number of occasions when visiting Glasgow, and it always has a warm, pleasant atmosphere. The staff are pleasant and efficient, and whilst they have a vast array of whiskies available, I chose the Malt of the Month, which was most enjoyable . The food is pub grub, i.e., pies with typical Scottish fillings (haggis and needs being one), suits me fine at lunchtime.

This will always be my port of call when visiting Glasgow. Handy for Central Station, the cask ales are always top notch and surprisingly cheaper than anywhere else I’ve been today. Considering how busy it can get - the bar staff really do pull out all the stops. Chapeau

My favourite pub in Glasgow, by far. An unrivalled whisky selection from known favourites, independent bottlers and the weird and wonderful. The staff always give the best recommendations for drams! To add to this, four cask ales rotating, great tap beer and a brilliant bottled selection too. Busy but great atmosphere. Pies always excellent too! Very happy this is my local!

We had some work colleagues over from Poland and we wanted to let them sample some different whisky . The staff were so knowledgeable and suggested 3 different whiskies based on the feedback that we gave him. We went on a Tuesday night and the place was very busy with a brilliant atmosphere
