Best place in Kirkby in ashfield for breakfast , food is excellent and cooked perfectly, there's nothing to not like about the posh , well done to the owners for making it ultimately affordable for great food

Fantastic food, extremely friendly and efficient service,brilliant atmosphere.

Tried this place about a year ago for breakfast and found it really poor. Thought we would give them another go... We stopped by yesterday after a dog walk, me my partner and an 18 month old. Thought we would sit outside in the sunshine with dog. Ordered food and had to wait 45 minutes for poached egg on toast and an omlette and 4 chicken nuggets. Omlette was ordered ham and mushroom with chips, salad and coleslaw. Came with ham mushroom & cheese and no coleslaw. Pouched egg on toast came out fried egg on bread. Absolute waste of time and money. No wonder this place is dead, all they seemed bothered about is the party goers on a fri & sat night. Would never eat here again. If your after anything other than a chip cob then go elsewhere

Nice community bar and grill Zafer was excellent host good selection of beers and spirits including Turkish ones

Waited 30/40 minutes for breakfast, and there was only one other diner. Food OK if you've got nothing else to do, although the order had errors. Sorry but not again.

Went for dinner but apparently they stop doing food at 4 on a Friday but that doesn't seem to be advertised anywhere. Also paid £9 for a pint of Madri and a Carling top.

Lovely place, nice music etc, ordered cheese on toast with poached egg and got toast and poached egg with cheese separately... Offered to take it back which was nice to offer but not what I asked for and paid for... Other than that lovely place to chill.

Only been in once and won't be going in again. Music too loud for us older ones Tried charging me £16 for 2 drinks when confronted they had charged me for another friend's drink who had already paid cash for hers and bluntly called her a liar saying she hadn't paid. After a debate they refunded us

Went on a Sunday, and you do get a proper plateful, so a definite recommendation on that, didn't taste too bad either. Owners seem very pleasant and welcoming. So give it a go, as also good value!

Been in quite few times now when we go to Kirkby it's favourite . Service is top and staff and management couldn't be better and food is lush even tea can drink I'm fussy wiv my brew . Gotta try a Sunday dinner soon they look delicious.

Excellent breakfast but far to much for me couldn't eat it all. Unfortunately for us took to long to prepare and had to rush back to work.

Had a lovely catch up and lunch with my friend. The food was delicious and the service was good. Nice relaxing atmosphere.

Had an anniversary meal here on Tuesday night...food was nice, and enjoyed the starters/dessert on offer. Service was decent. Was nippy with all the doors/windows open - but warmed up once they closed them and turned on the heaters. Shame the restaurant was pretty quiet but guess it was a Tuesday night...

3 hours later and still no food....

Okay, myself and Lady Johnson attended this venue last night, wow, a fantastic night and lots of fun, we have come back in the for brunch and the food is to die for. Truly an amazing place, very clean and looked after, a wide variety of food and drinks and even a kids menu so very family friendly. Top marks here.

Sat here now and what a night Zepher (I hope I spelled that right) is one of the most warm and welcoming hosts any bar or club could as for. The atmosphere is incredible, the drinks are perfectly mixed and a very fair price. The food is wonderful and as I’ve said, such a welcoming place. - Lady Johnson

Friendly staff but watch your payments

Came here with my Mother in law have been before. Had a small breakfast not advertised . Very good plenty to eat for us there is a normal breakfast that would be too much for us. Good price nice coffee. Very nice waitress . Quiet during the day. There is a Turkish Menu looks good might try soon.

Nothing posh about this place. 2 hour wait for food and when it arrived it was cold, the vinagrette for the salad had leaked through everything and soaked the kebab and the rest of the order making it unedible and a dessert that was not what I had ordered. I have tried requesting a full refund but to no avail. The owner demands that I drive to the restaurant to talk to him about his awful treatment of both food and clients. I explained I am very busy with work commitments and provided my bank details to facilitate the refund he had previously promised over the phone when he finally answered. All in all a total no go place unless you want to die of food poisening or pay over the top for absolutely below standard food. DO NOT ORDER HERE.

Ordered food at 6.30pm by 8pm still not received rang the restaurant to be told driver had been amd stood knocking for 10 mins then left (dog didn't bark ) Food finally arrived at 8.35pm cold Driver nor restaurant bothered to ring when no answer after apparently knocking even though phone number on ticket For the price of the food I was expecting a half decent meal and a decent size nope would have got more for less at kebab shop Will never ever use again

Give this place a wide birth. I paid 15.50 for a steak and it arrived looking like a floppy sole off someone's shoe.It also arrived Cold! The quality of the ingredients yet the prices being charged from a place who call themselves The Posh was appalling and couldn't eat it. I also ordered a salad 🥗. The salad arrived with just shredded lettuce and a few slices of cucumber (that's it) but it's advertised with olives and olive oil etc The owner was very unprofessional and just apologised for the mistakes and wouldn't rectify them even after admitting they were at fault. Customer services rating is a zero I'm afraid Also learnt that they have food safety of 2 stars so I guess that says it all Please don't waste your hard earned money on this establishment

I personally have had various excellent evenings dancing to great music and enjoying some great company. I accept some of beer is top range priced (I'm a stella drinker) but to offset that every night I have had as been excellent along with excellent staff and company - 100%

I took my children in for breakfast, they have NOTHING for children at all!!... I asked if I could order a smaller breakfast for the children and was told they could make the portion smaller but would still be the same price!! Money grabbing a**eholes if you ask me!! Should be more accommodating for children! Absolutely appalling service!! Don't waste your money here!! We have also order a take away from this place, it was under cooked and just foul!! They won't last long

Everything was good, the hamburger with chips was tasty and fresh, turkish beer was also good but the customers with kids was too noisy and loud.

Ok for drinks, not so much for food. Non uniformed staff/attitude was a contradiction to the venues name.

3 ladies that do lunch. We went for lunch here, never been before, it was amazing 👏 great food at great prices, the service was excellent, made us so welcome so much so lunch lasted five and a half hours . We are so going back there.

We made a special effort and called in the week before to book a table for five family members on the bank holiday Sunday . On arrival there was no reserved table at all and waited about ten minutes to sit on the agreed table . Four meals came out instead of five one had been missed off when got to the kitchen was definitely written down . This was very disappointing as we had all finished by the time the missed one came out . Management and waitresses were very apologetic and we had the meal and a bottle of complimentary wine to ease the disappointment. First time eating here and there was a disco going on . We ate about 8 ish and the music was very loud you had a job to hear each other talking. My thoughts are the Posh has to decide if it’s an eatery or entertainment venue … The disco music while people eat shouldn’t be as loud . Half nine when people have finished eating is the time to turn it up or you do one of the other . I have to say that the food was absolutely top notch and it would be a shame to loose business because music is playing too loudly .

Me and the girlfriend came on a Saturday night for the first time, we had a 3 cocktails each to start off which were all great and reasonably priced, we then had a cold and hot mixed meze which was lovely. A traditional belly dancer started which was really good fun. The atmosphere was good with music and everyone seemed to be having a good time, I'll definitely go again.

Really lovely. Super service. Only popped in for a coffee. Will be going back with my mates. Looks like a fantastic place for a good night out. Cocktails..lovely food. Can't wait to go back.

Visited here yesterday for a birthday meal with family. Staff were so welcoming, couldn’t do enough for us. Hadn’t mentioned birthday but they produced cake candle and prosecco. Food was fab and lots of it made it excellent value. Thank you all for making our day so great.

We had a table booked for 7.30pm, arrived at 7.15pm. It took them 45 mins to come over to order our drinks. We ordered food at 8.10pm, by 9.55pm we were still sat there. Bar staff apologetic however not acceptable to wait nearly 2 hours for food. Waitress was arguing with the manager, people were walking out left right and centre without paying because the food and service was that bad. 3 hours in that place we only had two rounds of drink and still no food came... Will not be returning.

Absolutely awful food. When we arrived the smell from outside was amazing. We went in expecting something out of this world . It was awful. It took an hour and 15 minutes for our starters to arrive. Another hour for mains. Food was terrible and most was sent back / not eaten. The serving staff were brilliant and very apologetic, it’s just a shame the bar staff and cooks let them down. We will not be returning and would not recommend this place.

4 of us went. Ordered the sharing meze, fantastic food and plenty of it all cooked to perfection. The staff are really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. If the doors are open it gets a bit chilly so take a jacket. Pricing was good value including the drinks. Try the gin trees. Entertainment was the belly dancing lady who was brilliant and got everyone up dancing, if you wanted too, which on our night they did. Would definitely recommend and will be returning. It's better if there's a group of you do to all of the food on offer.

Cost £20 had to wait 2 1/2 hours for the order, everything arrived freezing cold, chips inedible and very low quality. Salad had dried out. The Uber driver said that he’d told the manager I’d been waiting over 2 hours for my food and wasn’t he going to give at least a free drink. The plonker said No. Steer clear of this overpriced waste of money. At least the dogs happy. Hang on he’s dead. Food poisoning. Enjoy my review and may bankruptcy soon follow :) oh and there hygiene rating from environmental health is a 2 - needs improvement. I wouldn’t have ordered in the first place if I’d seen this. Dirty boy!

This was the first time of eating in, though plenty of takeaways. Was put on a table near the doors even though there was plenty of empty tables and yes we did ask to move was told they were all reserved. Still empty tables when we left. The food, was as always was great and plentiful. We seemed to be the only ones being asked to sign in on the NHS app for covid. Then as it was getting busy not enough people wearing masks to come in and being by the door you really felt it. Such a shame as the food is amazing. Probably won't go to eat in until covid is at a stage where its virtually gone.

Stopped off for a Turkish Brunch yesterday after being tempted in by the menu in the window. Chose something I'd never heard off and wasn't disappointed! Totally delicious! Please visit this place as its great to have a restaurant like this local to us!

The food was awful some of the staff and doormen were rude. I understand the Covid restrictions but it seems ok for the belly dancer to move from table to table getting up close to people

First time of visiting. Ordered take way which was on time and the food was excellent. The staff are lovely and friendly. The restaurant itself was spotless and it looked a well stocked bar. Will definitely return if this is the standard.
