Peña bética/atlético in Edinburgh. We had a good dinner and enjoyed beer while watching the Champions League final between Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund. We had a great time in a calm and close environment.

The sandwiches here are legendary, I’d suggest getting in early because they always sell out quickly

A proper local pub with a great sense of community. Everyone is welcome, and within minutes you'll feel like regular. Lots of TVs which makes it especially good for any sports fans, especially those of teams whose supporters clubs base themselves there (Arsenal, Real Betis, Atletico Madrid etc.). The food is also top notch, and the drinks reasonably priced. 5/5 🥰

An absolute must-stop while in Edinburgh! If King of Feasts is in the kitchen, you'll be treated to some crazy good sandwiches for a solid price. The menu changes regularly, but the aubergine katsu sandwich I had was truly unique, and all the other choices looked pretty special too. Even if you're just heading in for a pint, the welcoming atmosphere will make for a good time and you'll be sure to enjoy yourself. Don't miss out!

Came here with my French boyfriend and his family. The nicest staff and the most yummiest food!!!! The sandwiches were to die for!!! Très bon !

Great Pub, nice friendly atmosphere with the Scotland Arsenal Supporter’s Club organising a meet up for watching games. Incredible food and great service from the bar staff. Highly recommended spot for watching sport or nabbing a pint of Guinness.

Nice think it was at capacity still couldn't get served even though I brought up several empties.

My wife and I visited here to try King of Feasts sandwiches. We had high hopes as I had heard good things. The pub was reasonably busy but we got a table easy enough. The menu is small which is a good thing for me because I am indecisive. I went with the sausage sandwich and my wife went with the chicken and we got a side of fries to share. We ordered at the bar and the guy was nice enough. Thankfully the football was on because we had to wait ages for our grub. I know it’s only a one man team and I often appreciate the food taking a little longer but this a bit too long. I didn’t take an accurate time of how long it took but it was around 30 mins (maybe longer) which was disappointing. There was only 1 other table that had ordered food, and it’s sandwiches, nothing extravagant. Excessive in my book but maybe if I wasn’t sober it wouldn’t have bothered me so much. The food itself was decent. Nice buns which contained the food well and good flavour in both. I liked mines which was super cheesy but the chicken was definitely tastier. The chips were fine, just too salty. There was a pile of salt at the bottom of the basket which was an indication of over doing it. Overall, food didn’t blow our socks off but it was good. A little pricy, especially considering how long we had to wait for it. We may come again and try something else next time because some of the nosh looks bangin’ on his insta!

Great spot! The stsff are super friendly and helpful. And if you go when the King of Feasts is in the kitchen you'll be treated to some amazing scran!

Good pub with good barmen and good chat. Appart from the one person who tried to claim that soda water was tonic water.... it was fixed quickly once I pointed it out

Great to see the Tavern is still a good place to for a few beers, post shift pints we're good, nice World Cup atmosphere and good tunes playing too.

I cannot understate how good the food is here. It's the reason I came in the first place and I stayed for the pints and the atmosphere! Perfect pub!

Heverlee beer poor. Staropramen a little better. Establishment has gone downhill. The neon sign behind the bar: "We can be heroes just for one day." Not on my visit.

Very friendly and very tasty food

Went for the sandwiches, left disappointed. Waited 1 hour and a half for two sandwiches, only one was at the level expected. Our table was close to the kitchen, the kitchen door was kept open for some reason and left us breathing the oil and food that was cooked for more than an hour, while waiting for our food. The beef sandwich was overcooked, and the meat could only be found in half of the bun, the other half was essentially just lettuce. Chicken sandwich was tasty, but still, I would not wait that long, breathing the smoke from the kitchen to have it again. Would not return unless they change how they work.

Nice pub manager was sound the captain of the darts team needs to take the bowling alley shoes back and stop colouring his moustache in it looks like he went down the wrong time of the month

Low prices but poor service. A very long wait to be served.

Agradable y típica taberna escocesa, donde charlar con amigos, ver deporte en sus numerosas pantallas de tv, saborear pintas variadas y sabrosas, en un ambiente agradable y distendido. Actualmente alberga las sedes de dos peñas futbolísticas dispares , la Peña Bética "No busques mas que no hay" y la Peña Atlética de los indios de Caledonia, hermanados en la distancia y en su pasión por el fútbol. Numerosa simbología y camisetas de ambos club, forman un variopinto espectaculo, aderezado por los gritos y el trasiego de pintas y otros licores espirituosos.Diversión y camaradería se mezclan entre foráneos y residentes. Billar y dardos, complementas la diversión. Un jugar recomendable para saborear el ambiente escocés. Precios ajustados y buena atención.

Nice local pub. Generally quiet during the week when I tend to visit. Good music and decent number of screens for all major live sporting events. Very reasonably priced, pool table and darts board are also available in the back. Good facilities and beers. Student discount is also available on certain products.

After my final exam the squad felt like a gash at the local and the barman after giving him 100 people plus worth of business gave us a free bottle of liqure.

Decent pub in a very student orientated area. There’s good draught beer on offer and it’s at very reasonable prices in order to attract the students. If it’s quiet the place can be a bit lifeless so Friday, Saturday and Sunday are definitely the best times to frequent.
