An amazing family friendly venue, Food fantastic, staff so accommodating and great ambience. We have been back multiple times and recommend to all our friends. We also attended the children's pumpkin paining event which was great, our daughter loved it. We will be back soon.

Just had a Sunday roast here with some family, quality atmosphere and amazing food! Very straight forward to order and didn’t have to wait long at all for food. The roast beef I had was spot on and the children loved their roast chicken. Will definitely be back again for food in the future! Compliments to the chef for the food and to jack & catherine for the service and also to the barman Rob!

We have just found The Plough in Fairford. Jack and Casey have done an amazing job at refurbishing their new business premises. It’s Finished to a very high standard. Warm and welcoming and the land lord and land lady make you feel really welcome. Brilliant destination to come to any day of the week, will be trying their Sunday lunches next week. Keep up the good work

Visited today for Sunday lunch with my wife and son. This pub is under new ownership and this was the first time they were offering Sunday lunches. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I had the roast beef lunch. I am in my sixties and have obviously had a few roasts in my life but the one I had today has to be one of the best. The beef wasn’t served as thin dry slices but very succulent slabs. All came with loads of veg including cauliflower cheese. The pub was very busy so advise booking well ahead of time. Looking forward to returning.

Great boozer. Bent over backwards for us to get the footy on and treated the kids like locals. Wish the owners the best and would recommend to all

You can see that this pub has had a big make-over, looks lovely and very keen guy to help us with menu and check everything good. Being fussy, my sourdough sandwich would have been better lightly toasted as bread and little dry, but rest of food was great- had a burger and fries yum. Came here after a meeting at base but will definitely be back another time...so lovely to be served nice food and be welcomed like that.

The Plough always had potential but was hideously let down by he people that an it bt new owners have arrived and it has gone from zero to hero. Yje exurb is really good as the space has been opened up offering a spacious, clean, modern environment but retaining its Cotswold charm. This is great to see and is a good start but the real difference is the young couple who are running it. Friendly, welcoming, efficient and enthusiastic in heaps and they have created a great environment for a drink. Sadly the pub is still Arkles but at least they keep the beer well and hopefully the one decent beer that Arkles brew -Voyager - will be making an appearance. There's a huge amount of goodwill towards the Plough and the new landlord couple and I wish them every success. Talking to them only briefly they clearly have great plans and the only word of caution I would give them is go steady. Get something right before moving on to he next thing and keep in check their boundless enthusiasm and desire to grow their new venture. If you are in Fairford go and visit as firstly it is good to support people like this and secondly because it is a great Cotswold pub.

Having spent a morning at the Garden Centre near Fairford we decided to treat ourselves to a spot of lunch. What a great discovery. We dined from the starter menu so much choice and perfect sized portions. Definitely coming back for dinner next time the menu is a delight and the service and timing impeccable

Such a lovely little family run country pub. Visited alot when in the area. The pub refurb is spot on but still not taking away from the fact its a country pub. Land lady extremely welcoming. Well kept beer. Will.most definitely be back when visiting again.

The only positive thing to be said about this place is that it may increase sobriety as anyone visiting may well conclude that pubs are not for them. Poorly kept beer, tired decor, abysmal service and Arkles beer. Not a winning combination! There are better places to drink.

Awful. Beer is kept badly, it’s Arkles beer which is pretty poor at the best of times. The service is almost laughably abysmal. For reasons that remain a mystery it seems to attract a few visiting American servicemen. The thought that they are returning g to the US thinking this is what pubs are like is a crime against Anglo - US relations. There are 5 pubs in Fairford and in that list this pub comes 6th. Avoid.

Called in for a pre dinner drink. Good ales and friendly atmosphere. They do not serve food, but you are welcome to bring in a takeaway to have with your drink.

The bread and cakes from here are epic - really good Croissant and the Sourdough is top class - can perch indoors if you are lucky or sit outside on some rather flimsy folding chairs, either way teh coffee is very good and even better with a bun! Quality of product is the main attraction, its not a large enterprise like some of the other places nearby. Worth finding.

The cafe is very basic which is fine, however, the prices are too high. Two coffees over nine pounds. We did have oat milk instead of cows and one was decaf but even so that’s the most we have been charged for two medium sized coffees anywhere in the UK. There was even a 10% service charge added to the bill which again was a first for us in a cafe. Staff were very nice but we won’t return. There is a limit to how much we want to pay for coffee. It’s not £9+.

The guy who works here is rude and condescending. Dare you not be a perfect coffee expert and ask for advice on which drink to choose.
