The Plough At Cadsden in Wycombe

Popped in for a coffee before a walk up the hill. Well located cosy little pub. Loved the traditional decor and feel, definitely on my list to come and try the food as I was impressed.

Great location with loads of lovely walks. Good beer and other drink options, delicious Sunday roast. Nice inside and a big outside area

Just had a Sunday roast, hands down the best Sunday roast I’ve had at a pub! The service, food and the area is all so nice! Well worth a visit, especially when you want some good food!

A very quiet lunchtime, which meant we had almost undivided attention from the staff.

Got in passing by, really nice setting near to the woods. Nice atmosphere and cosy.

Lovely pub. Great stop on a walk. Warning about kitchen opening hours. They do a lunch and a dinner service. Dogs allowed in the bar.

Great spot to stop if doing the Ridgeway, worthwhile especially walking east to west as you won't see another pub for a while. Good selection of drinks, but didn't stay for food unfortunately. Fantastic atmosphere and loads of room in the beer gardens also!

First visit in 34 years, so I was first pleased to see that the Plough is still there and secondly they still did food. I had a wonderful pint of beer and ordered the Ham, Eggs and Chips. The ham was the best and thickest I've had since 1997 and that was on the Channel Islands, so certainly the best on mainland Britain. The eggs and chips were great as well. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I hope to return soon.

Lovely pub location but food really expensive: basic pub grub at mad gastro prices. I had the 3 bean chilli and it was definitely microwave bag rice and some pre-made sugary chilli…for £18.95! You’d get the same quality dish in weatherspoons for half that. If you’re charging £18.95 - that better be some banging home cooked chilli and rice.

Very welcoming pub surrounded by lovely walks. Nice Rebellion beer and plenty of parking.

Stopped here on a very busy Wednesday night, which was a bikers meeting.

Only went for food and not to stay but the food was excellent and5 staff were friendly helpful, would recommend going for food

Lovely location miles from anywhere with footpaths leading to hills and walkways.

A perfectly situated pub with nice food but pricey. Good service. Some of the food was homemade but some not - also let down by low quality sauce packets.

Nice enough pub, average food, in a fabulous weekend walking location but this pub, the food and the servic could be a lot more more fabulous....

Just went in to pick up a friend but great atmosphere and good range of drinks bit pricey though. Food looks nice but didn't try it.

Kitchen disgusting! Food overpriced and no food hygiene certificate

Went to the Plough for dinner this evening only to find they're not serving food on Tuesdays - even though their website says they are. Website provider blamed and no one appeared to care. Except us.

I went there yesterday for lunch with my wife, 2 children and two adult friends. The food was okay but a bit pricey for what it was. The service was average; we waited on more than two occasions to get some attention and order. My main issue was that my daughter’s meal was brought out last (instead of first, which in my opinion should be the standard for children’s meals).

Great place to stop when walking the Ridgeway

Snooty bar staff, nowhere to just sit and have a pint, had to sit outside, that's where the poor people must go.

Extremely pleasant rural pub in a great location, below the Chiltern hills. The beer was good and they serve a reasonable selection of classic pub food. The service was good and our waitress was attentive. Dog friendly too.

A very good pub/restaurant in a great setting. The menus are really good allied to good service.

Good food, drink and service. Recommended.
