Didn't eat but nice place for a drink

Good old pub with nice pictures and pool tables but do not buy a burger the patty is too small for the buns and it didn’t have anything else on it the steak and ale pie is good though

Nice place. Hosts welcoming and helpful. Steak was tasty and chips very good and hot. Our guests enjoyed their meals too. Several vegetarian options. Flat entrance at rear and good disabled loo. We would go there again if in the area. Not good to leave through smoke of people smoking round back entrance.

Really good pub, the beers were well kept and the food was tasty and well presented. The staff were helpful and the place was packed. So nice to see a pub doing it right.

Traditional English pub with great food and friendly staff Ate here on one night during my stay at the Duxford lodge hotel. The pie was delicious and exactly as a pie should be, pastry all around and full of meat. The pub was virtually full which makes a nice change in the days of pub closures. Bar staff attentive even though very busy. Would I return? 110% yes 👍

Very welcoming staff. I visited on a rowdy evening as locals had been to the races. However, pleasant, good Pinot and great meal. Tasty. Would definitely recommend.

Called in for something to eat on Saturday 10th February following a visit to Duxford IWM. Brilliant. Great service. Really warm welcome from Tracey and Mario and their staff. We were made to feel right at home. Will call back again when in the area.

We were visiting the IW Museum at Duxford and wanted somewhere to eat in the evening , so we booked a table on line. What a gem of a pub! With welcoming and friendly staff. The food was delicious , we were made very welcome and even invited to sit with the regulars/ local residents after the meal and we had a great evening of fun and laughter.

We had a wake at the Plough, and it was brilliant. We can't thank the staff enough. Was friendly, cosy, great spread for all the guests. Will definitely recommend to anyone.

Had just visited IWM @ Duxford and did a Google search for a place to eat. The Plough came up as only 1.5 mile away and good reviews. We can only add to them. A pleasant welcome, good range of beers and guest ales. Food selection was from menu or specials on blackboard. Prices reasonable. When food arrived after short wait, it was good and plentiful. Note this is a pub pub. Can't remember when I last saw people playing domino's. So to sum up, good beer, good food, excellent service.

Although I already knew,what a wonderfully pleasant pub,Mario and Tracey run.This was the first time I had,eaten a Sunday lunch.The Starter of creamy garlic mushrooms,was amazing and I could probably eat this everyday, given the chance!! My Roast Beef, followed with Roast potatoes and 4 FRESH vegetables,(Nothing frozen) along with homemade Yorkshire puds.Absolutely beautiful food from start to finish.I will be back,to try the rest of the Menu!! Amazing.Thankyou both.

We chose The Plough because we wanted to meet up with our daughter, but not drive to London, so we wanted somewhere and hour`s drive away for all of us, half way. My wife needed a gluten/dairy free meal, and the staff were very obliging, doing sausage/mash and vegetables. My roast beef meal was hot, tasty and good value for money. The pub itself was busy and had a lovely atmosphere, a "proper" pub. There was a good range of real ale, and I went for Titanic Brewery`s Plum Porter, which was very good. Will most certainly return.

We appreciate the hospitality extended to us, which included accommodating additional guests beyond the original reservation. Moreover, we're thankful for your flexibility in allowing individuals with strict dietary requirements to self-cater while still feeling included in the group.

Thank you to all at The Plough for accommodating us. We were a party of 12 that did pre book. Food was really nice, service excellent and loved the candles in the pudding for our grandchildren birthdays. We will be back.... if you'll have us ....sorry if we were a little loud 😉

Great little pub in a quiet vilage. Visited at lunchtime, and it wasn't busy. Food arrived fairly quickly and had good portions. Food was all right, sausages and mash were good, i just prefer gravy wasnt runy, but i was very hungry so cleared the plate without issues. My colleague had fish and chips, and it was good. He was well happy with it. Fish and chips portion might look small, but trust me, those chips are huge,

Our second visit to The Plough at Duxford. Again not disappointed, good food still at very reasonable prices, we also got 20% discount. Staff very attentive and friendly and food came piping hot.

Really rude, very clicky pub. We went here as a family with young kids intending to eat. The lady behind the bar was extremely abrupt. Not a welcoming environment. We left before ordering food as we refused to put money into an establishment which obviously doesn’t value walk-in customers or families.

We have taken our Springador puppy to the back garden here several times now and are always greeted by friendly staff and made welcome. The pub is recently renovated as is the garden, and both are simply beautiful. Our favourite pub :-)

Found this hidden gem on the journey down to the airport and what a great place. The pub is lovely and traditional. There are plenty of guest beers to try aswell as the usual drinks. The food was lovely and very filling. Would definitely visit again when passing by

Good range of real ales, decently priced for Cambridgeshire,nice friendly relaxed atmosphere, good food mid range prices.

We arranged to meet relatives here for lunch. It was a Tuesday and we were surprised how busy the pub was. Food was excellent and the staff very friendly. Prices were very reasonable. Big car park and also outside seating. Overall very impressed and will visit again.

Came upon this Pub by accident. Food was excellent, I can highly recommend the Lamb shanks. Welcome was very friendly, and the beer was delicious. Best Pub we visited during our short tour around Britain

We popped in for lunch in the way to Duxford War Museum. Great service from a very friendly employee. I feel that the food was slightly overpriced in my opinion. We had a salad, one burger and fries, one soft drink and one small alcoholic one and no change from £30. Food was but not amazing.

Found the pub by accident as we were looking for somewhere to eat off the M11 and what a pleasant surprise. A very warm and friendly welcome from the staff and patrons. Very reasonably priced! Good selection of beers 🍻 including Madri. Food came quick - even though it was around 19:00 and was delicious. Good selection of vegetarian options! There's a car park and garden to the rear of the pub.

Great place. First time visiting. Needed a meeting place, with food, near the M11 that was open on a Monday. So pleased we chose here. Food was great, although we all only had a snack. But chunky chips were very good. The staff were efficient, polite, and courteous. Overall, it was a very nice experience and would definitely recommend a visit.

Great food and lovely staff. Had the steak and ale pie - it was amazing. Husband had the chicken, ham and leek. Both pies just packed with meat. Will definitely return when we come back down to Duxford.

Came here with family recently for the first time and were thoroughly impressed. It was a nice day so we sat outside in the garden to eat our lunch. All staff were very friendly and attentive. The menu has so many options and the food was of great quality. Really cannot complain, everything was 10/10. We will absolutely be returning.

Booked last minute for a large group, the staff were very accommodating (had two children with us) food was delicious and the service was great.

We were looking for somewhere to eat on a Monday lunchtime, most pubs don’t offer food on a Monday, but the Plough does! Had lunch here and it was lovely. Definitely would recommend.

Me and my friend had a lovely meal last night at the plough (chicken burgers) lovely atmosphere, friendly staff fully recommend.

Small divert off M11 no real time added to journey. Home cooked pub food, no chain rubbish, had lovely lamb chops from the specials board. We will definitely seek them out again. Staff very friendly too

On entering noticed the good atmosphere .Ordered drinks and fish and chips for two , the staff were very pleasant and cheerful made us feel very welcome . The fish and chips didn’t disappoint they were hot fresh and tasted delicious. If I lived here this pub would definitely be my local. The prices are very reasonable too.

Had a lovely Sunday lunch, relaxed atmosphere. Food plentiful and very tasty. We had a starter, 2 Sunday lunches with extra sides & a coupe of drinks, came to £45. Very reasonably priced.

Great atmosphere, excellent food. Couldn't fault it.

Had lunch with friends who recommended the pub, average main course and great desert. Chicken supreme turned up as a deep fried chicken leg, which was dry and a pot of gravy (random) when I questioned it I was told it was the cut of meat and not to expect a sauce (chicken supreme can be a cut but it should be breast not deep fried leg), bubble and squeak was also random, mash and carrot (traditionally it would be pan fried with cabbage) but alas not today. On a positive note the crumble and custard was spot on , hey ho. I don’t expect culinary perfection from a pub , but I was looking forward to a nice lunch.

This is what you would call a traditional pub . Lots of locals, drinkers, good beer ( Tiger) and someone who can pull a pint. Wish every village had one. Thanks stocky.

Lovely "real" traditional village pub. Food looked lovely but I only tried the real ale which was perfect ( and there was a choice of 4 on hand pump). Will call again when I have more time.

Thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience the food the beer the people it was great .

We went here for lunch on a Friday. I had the fish and chips (Cod) , we also had the pie and two portions of the lasagne which came with two pieces of garlic bread and great chunky chips. Everything was superb, very tasty, homemade and piping hot. My fish was enormous and one of the best I've had recently. We also went for the puddings, three syrup puddings and one apple crumble with custard. Again, everything was lovely. If you like beer they serve a great pint of Everards and always have three other beers on, very reasonably priced lunch and very friendly staff. Can't wait to go back.

We traveled an hour to meet friends here (it was half-way between us!). Small and friendly pub. Cosy. Lovely staff and good food. Good beer too (Everards Tiger)! We may well make this a regular for our rendezvous’ in future. Recommended.

We met some friends halfway here and it was lovely. The staff were friendly and helpful, and although some items were missing off the menu, it was still great.

We called in for a meal after an air show at nearby IWM Duxford. The staff were very welcoming and we had a tasty meal and a nice glass of beer. The menu was not vast nor gourmet but it was tasty and offered good...

If you are anywhere near Cambridge this pub is a must. Great homemade Pub food and fantastic beer. I’ve been here a few times while I’m working locally and had great food and brilliant well kept beer every time. The special was chicken ham and leak pie when I visited tonight and it was lovely. The Everards Tiger and the golden hop beers are exceptional too. Definitely 5 STARS.

Had lunch here last Saturday, chose the lamb shank which was very generous in size & really delicious..... so much so I nearly forgot to take a photograph!!! The staff were very welcoming, helpful & friendly. Being able to watch the vintage aircraft flying over from Duxford Air Museum a stones throw away was an absolute bonus!!

Really lovely little pub. Stopped off for a Saturday lunch whilst out and about. We fed 7 people for £115. The lamb shank was very delicious and there was plenty of it. The chilli con carne was full of flavour and the steaks were succulent and cooked exactly as asked for. To top it off the staff were friendly and attentive but not obtrusive. As a bonus we watched vintage aircraft flying over from the nearby Duxford IWM runway. NICE!

Best staff in a pub, they treat you like friends or family. Always a good selection of real ales, and a broad, good value menu. The chicken katsu curry portion was generous if you're hungry.

Friendly service. Good range of beers and excellent food. The main course was slow to come, which we put down to staff shortages in the kitchen. But it was well worth waiting for when it arrived.
