The Place in Neath Port Talbot

This is a great place for meeting friends and having a delicious coffee, tea and scrummy cake. The glass front of the coffee shop allows perfect views of shoppers scurrying to the shops which makes it very enjoyable, even if your friends don't turn up! They also serve alcohol and a selection of hot snacks.

Friendly helpful staff, tea bag left out of pot as I like weak tea . Friend said her coffee up to her usual standard.

I must stress this only for the Nachos from Hell not the Venue. The venue is AWESOME but the Nachos are RANK!!!! They were somewhat stale, the cheese tasted like cheesey, salty, custard...it looked puss a pot....the thought of the taste is making hurl right now. The salsa dip was the only saving grace. Just RANK!!! Please Gwyn Hall change your supplier.

Mainly visit The Place for a morning coffee or prior to going to the Gwyn Hall cinema. Coffee and alcoholic drinks, Some snacks also served. Comfortable seating. Free wi-fi.

Was disgusted to see some sort of rodent in the cafe area, would avoid like the plague (or you may catch it at the Place!)

A lovely venue for a snack or drink before watching a live show or film. A huge glass conservatory had been added to the front of the 1887 building with stained glass windows. Unique to Neath and a welcome addition. Had a great panini with a glass of wine.
