Liz's Cafe in Neath Port Talbot

Don’t waste your time, they shut at 1pm.

Closed 10am on a Friday morning but advertised as open, written shutter reopening on 15th!

Whet to take my daughter and granddaughters for breakfast after training, got there just after 11.00 and was told "we're closed " Pathetic to close so early and other potential customers were turned away too. 11.00 on a Saturday morning is a pitiful time especially when you have so much trade at your finger tips.

Had a breakfast there for the first time Saturday, and it was the best myself and my wife ever had, knocks spots off others and will definitely be going again 10/10

I didn't like the food. Ordered a sausage and egg sandwich. Cheap sausages and a horrible greasy egg made into some kind of tasteless omelette. Plus vastly overpriced.

Had a bacon, sausage and egg sandwich made with fresh bread, really thick sliced and was delicious

Been going there for many yrs cldnt fault the place but since the new lady serving u as been there it’s not the best service at all, u order and pay for something and when it turns up wrong and u tell her she’s goes off on one and will argue with u she comes across very pushy will not be going back there am not the first to experience this few of the lads have said the same and the price as gone up but smaller potions

Used this cafe yesterday for the first and last time. Dont get me wrong, the place is spotless. Top marks for cleanliness, but where they fall down for me was the fact that there was no printed menu on display, just a whole load of high calorie fried food listed in chalk on a chalk board. I had to ask what other items were available, and only got offered more high calorie options, nothing healthy at all. I asked to use a bathroom so i could wash my hands and was directed to the staff facilities. This place does not offer toilets, not even to paying customers. Not sure what was wrong with the bread, but it had a perfumed taste to it which left a nasty after taste lingering in my mouth, could only get rid of it by chewing mint gum.

Great service, stayed open late so we could have our sandwiches having arrived just before closing rather than turning us away.....and boy can they cook a mean bacon sarnie!!

All the food is freshly cooked on the premises,the atmosphere is good the staff are very friendly and the service is prompt.I would recommend it to anybody I have eaten there for years.

Hidden gem just off the A465. Home cooked food, real chips & attentive, friendly staff. What more could you ask for? I give Liz and her girls 5 stars! Keep up the good work.

Very good food been going for years never had a bad meal. they do a wide range of freshly prepared meals including fresh salad which in my opinion is the best around! As for the service always been very good- I can't see what people mean in the reviews it's a family run cafe and I've never had a problem

Have been a regular visitor to Liz's cafe for a number of years and am very surprised at the other reviews. We have always found the staff pleasant & friendly. The food is fresh, plentiful & prepared to order.

Food was ok, no choice to speak of. But the lady serving was very rude. Only went here before we picked our car up next door. Do not recommend this place to anyone.

Rude service. Over priced food. Toilet locked with a "staff only" sign when legally a cafe needs to provide a toilet and hand wash facility...unacommodating and unfriendly.

I am hard of hearing but don't expect to be shouted at by a grumpy old woman. I was almost too frightened to give my order to the older woman. Food limited in choice, very over priced and quite ordinary.

The worst customer service you'll ever experience, the old woman is always rude never smiles, tells you to get out the way, bumps into you on purpose, looks at you with evil eyes. I could go on all day, worse place I've ever been. Worth going just to see how bad she really is. Feel sorry for the younger lady who seems to cook nice food, and has to deal with that monster. The appalling service by this vile women completely out ways the decent food. I would never go back. And suggest someone to put a burger van close, I guarantee you'll take all their business.
