The Pizza Master in Gateshead

my order has not yet shown up i ordered it 2 hours ago the restaurant told me over an hour ago that it is on its way i live 5 minutes away.

Food was cold and wrong topping on pizza. Definitely not worth the hours wait!

burger was lovely but bun a little but soggy and the wrap was amazing aswell

I specifically requested no tomato at all and garlic base,, order came with tomato base and sauce on top,,, it’s not the fist time this has happened,, not a happy bunny,,,, shame tho cos when they get it right food is awesome

Was very frustrating that it was so late. and after calling and being told it's with the driver, it still took another 20 minutes, when I told I was the first delivery. However, credit where credit is due, the food arrived hot and was very good as it usually is from here. Just a shame it took so long.

not only did I receive my order exactly 2 hours later. all my food was squashed in one box. tasted really bad. the chicken pieces were infact frozen chicken nuggets I could have made at home. very disguisted. Will never order from this place again.

an hour late and food was bland. Very disappointed

Ordered food while friends were over at 8pm. Food was due to arrive between 8.55 and 9.15 - called the restaurant at 9.20, was told food would be there soon. It's now 10.05 and nothing has arrived. Friends are going to be leaving in 10 minutes. Won't order again.

Took 2.5 hours for a chicken tikka wrap and salad and portion of chips when it arrive it was freezing cold and the wrap was all soggy

Absolutely freezing, somone parts of the food were stone cold. Went in bin wasnt able to eat it whata waste never again

Pizza is second to none, no grease at all in the box, absolutely delicious

First time ive used these but i definitely use them again.

Way better than expected. It's super clean inside. The website has the same prices as in-store. Portions are huge. Decent value for money. The naan kebab was good. There's enough food for 2 days. I probably wouldn't get the balti one again though as its a bit too much. The donner was better than the chicken which I thought tasted dry (even with the sauce). The smashburger was really good. Just shy of five guys. Like 6.8/10. The pizza is of your standard kebab shop variety. The orders are ready on time.

Used to be a good pizza shop but I guess owner or staff changed :/ Pepperoni pizza barely had Pepperoni on it and both pizzas were meant to be (and paid) stuffed crust but only one had stuffed crust. Foodhub can't do anything about it because I decided to pick up instead of delivery :D Joke

Fantastic food quick delivery and amazing garlic sauce

twice now the food has been extremely late. we get that being busy happens, but when the app states food delivered, and you call to question an eta and you are told 15 minutes just finishing up now, and its another hour. it's taking the proverbial. Last order via sons app parts of order were missing. used to be a great service for delivery but overcast few weeks has gone down hill. sad really as food us nice. not sure what's happened.

Pizza stone cold, masala chips were decent, wrap was lovely but very soggy. Over 2 hours for delivery - weather is really bad but I’d rather they were honest when you call to ask where it’s at instead of saying ‘won’t be long’ when it clearly will.

Delivery was 2 hours late and missing items. No clue if someone else took over but while the foods the same good quality the customer service has dropped significantly

The food here is just getting better and better. Had the funion smash burger, very tasty and delivered on time, still hot. Very nice delivery driver as well.

tenders and peri chips were nice. mars cake was lush. halloumi fries were very rubbery

Ordered at 6.15 delivery was supposed to be between 7-7.15 they changed delivery to 7.35 and food turned up at 8 o’clock 2 pizzas, garlic bread and chips stone cold when arrived! Pizzas arrived with barely any topping on the bolognaise. Couldnt eat food with it being so cold! Waste of money I won’t order again in a hurry!

Cold when it came after waiting 2 hours

food was an hour late, delivery driver rang me from the wrong address, when I directed him to mine, a few minutes away, he told me he'd deliver it elsewhere if I paid him more. rang the shop and they got him to deliver it, chips and pizza were stone cold so went straight in the bin, my wife reheated her wrap and said it was nice.

got a notifcation that it had been delivered . nut wasnt , uswd the call restruant option lady said was 5 minutes away and food was fab when it got here . not sure if was user error or website issue as she asked if ordered though just eat . but i got my food and love supporting a local business x

gutted to be putting this review on, order from here on a regular basis, with no problems at all, however tonight, our order just hasn't turned up. no reply from the restaurant when requesting an update either

Food was luke warm but nice we also waited well over 2 hours for delivery. would try again only if they can try and deliver earlier.

Pizza was lovely, loads of cheese on cheesy chips but garlic sauce is too sweet for me

Seems like a few people have had an issue tonight by the looks of other reviews… food was freezing cold and quality was just not there at all! Asked for thin based pizza and got deep pan, chips just soggy! Fed them to the dog. Hopefully this was just a one off as we like this place normally (still the best garlic sauce around)

Ordered our food at 19:30 food arrived at 21:40! Food barely warm ( had to reheat) if places can’t get orders out on time they should cancel them a give people a chance to order from elsewhere! Won’t be back

Have ordered from here for a while now and the pizzas have always been great but my 16” Geordies delight was very disappointing really lack off toppings the Donna meat was almost no existing past ones have been chocka with meat

Never getting pizzas from anywhere else.

Tried new smash burger and it was absolutely lovely,great flavour and was fresh.Also had the kebab which was just perfect.Id highly recommend pizza masters if your looking for the best Takeaway in Gateshead.

Absolutely perfect as usual. They were running late, but answered the phone quickly and explained the reason clearly. Great food and great customer service. Will definitely use again soon

I've used this takeaway a lot, they usually deliver within 20-30 mins, but this order took 1 hour and 20 mins to get to me

I tried there smash burger and loved every bite of it, chips were perfect and pizza was exquisite nice tender chicken and well done will definitely recommend masters will be going back again definitely.

Made an order at 6:45 and my food didn’t arrive till 9 o’clock, I rang the restaurant 3 times and all 3 times the lady on the other end of the phone had a stinking attitude, she told me at 8:20 after already waiting over an hour and a half it would be 5 minutes so I waited another 15 still not here so I rang back as it’s now been nearly 2 hours and she said it would be 5 minutes with attitude, terrible customer service over the phone and the food was cold! Not impressed at all!

Favourite place for pizzas and kebabs, always top quality, staff are lovely and the service is always super quick….desserts are amazing too

No extra Yorkshires or pigs in blankets again potatoes wear rock hard and it wasn’t hot

I love the salt and chilli box!!! It’s heavy and filled to the brim with food! More than enough for a full family or my fat tushy lol

Ordered garlic bread with cheese with request for less cheese. Could not taste any garlic in the meal that was delivered. Was more like a bland cheese on toast.

When you order pre heat the oven because when it arrives you can heat it straight up, not the first time the order has been late and arrived cold

Definitely recommend the chicken tenders (we had garlic dip)
