I ordered from them [AKA Valley Pizza] last night via just eat. I received the order in the time I expected. The driver delivered the order and left. I opened one of the starter/side boxes. It was the chicken strips I had ordered so I started eating. I hadn't opened the other boxes yet when I heard a knock on the window, it was the delivery who had delivered the wrong order for a house further down the street. I returned what I hadn't touched and he became rude and angry with me asking why did I take the order, insisting I had to pay for the wrong delivery, and that he was calling the person whose order he had incorrectly delivered. He blamed me for his mistake. The person whose order it was no longer wanted their order, and I cancelled the order online, but was still charged a cancellation fee.The driver's behaviour, the angry, confrontational way he spoke to me, attempting to lay the blame on me, and the fact that he tried to ring me later at 2;30 am in the morning was very inappropriate, and as a single female receiving a delivery at the time of night made me very uncomfortable. He was clearly angry at himself for his mistake but his reaction showed that he handled it very poorly, instead of apologising for his mistake and rectifying it with myself, and the other customer,

This is the worse business I have ever come across the woman who takes the calls is the rudest woman I have ever spoke to she has zero costumer service skills .... not only that you order from them and the food doesn't turn up and they will not give you your money back the place needs closing down I will be informing trading standards about them

Rubbish service and person taking the order was useless..gave up in the end and told her not to bother!!

This place is terrible! Avoid like the plague. Not only was my order late by 30 minutes past the agreed time but they also gave the wrong order. Which is made worse by the fact that my friends and I are vegetarian and they put bacon on the pizza! I called them up to complain and they told me they cant find my order and they will call back to once the driver comes back. After waiting for them to call for 40 minutes and not hearing anything from them I called them back and they said "The driver mixed up the order". I asked if I could receive a refund as I have waited for nearly 2 and a half hours for food and decided to make something at home by that point. The lady on the phone said she doesn't have the authority to give refund and for me to call back the next day to speak to the manager names Ali. I called the next day to speak to Ali who was very apologetic and said he will call back the next day to give a refund. I NEVER RECEIVED A CALL! I called them back after two days and spoke to the same lady. She offered me to resend the food and I rightly refused as I didn't want to order from them ever again. She said they don't receive money from Just Eat for 14 days so they can't give me a refund and then just fobbed me off to talk to Just Eat. The customer service is so terrible from this place that it actually makes me laugh.

La orden tomó más de 3 horas, no podía conseguir de ellos dentro de ese plazo, a pesar de llamar una y otra vez, cuando llegó la comida estaba helada y la empresa se niegan a dar un reembolso o reconocer el pésimo servicio. It was great to have pizza at 2am, very nice experience of that time of the day someone can deliver pizza at your door step.

Two hours to deliver a pizza...nightmare. Food is awful to. Don't bother. I tried to get a refund but they were o unhelpful. Had to email just eat but still unresolved...

Unbelievably bad! Need I say more? I will explain our fiasco of an order. It should not take long to make a pizza but for some reason, this place decides they need to add on an extra half an hour cooking time to a pizza that apparently already took an hour and a half to cook! This was however news to us, since the restaurant didn't get in touch, I happened to check my emails which just told me my pizza was late. After following a link, I found out it was delayed, why was I not told?! Why does it take 2 hours to make one pizza?! I can only assume this is one of those novelty paces you hear of that are famous for crap service! I am genuinely waiting for a message (which won't come to me directly) to tell me we have to wait another hour. Can't wait to add to this review...

Absolutely terrible! Me and my friend ordered food at roughly 2.30am- we didn't actually receive it till 4.30am! After calling and asking for it to be delivered at 3.20am they promised it would be with us on or before 3.50am.. And also promised to throw complimentary garlic bread- they didn't do this by the way! Myself and my friend between us called about 200 times with the screenshots to prove it! I expect a refund as this is disgusting service!

Myself and my friends had a night out and when we got back decided we wanted pizza. They told us that our pizza would arrive at 1:30am promptly however at 3:30am, TWO HOURSE AFTER WE EXPECTED IT, they email me to say that they have cancelled my order with no explanation as to why they have done that. I will never recommend this place to anyone. I am outraged with this. Absolutely awful. Furthermore to add to this outrage they don't even sell margarita pizza or chips?!?!

I wouldn't be surprised if it's to shake off these honest reviews. .. We walked in to a poorly ventilated restaurant (with a room filled with people cooking meat you'd think that would be a priority) with no music or atmosphere. My party was greeted with an awkward 'oh, we weren't expecting you' and the lady disappeared to get the manager - Good start... We were sat down and brought drinks by a very friendly waitress and shown the exotic menu which I was so excited to enjoy on my birthday!! However, the manager walks out and refuses my voucher as he claimed it was not booked according to the fine print. Despite my discussing with him the parameters of his fine print and telling him I had clearly adhered to them he wouldn't accept it, called me a liar and left it at 'i will be charging you at full price this evening' >> WHAT ATROCIOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE! Really, what a way to treat someone on their birthday as well. The manager was completely resolute and at no stage would empathise or compromise. So my party left. He didn't enjoy it when I said: 'you clearly run the voucher offer to promote your business and this is how you treat people?' To which he replied, 'I get over 100 bookings a day!!!' (The restaurant was half empty)- He made a scene and I was embarrassed for him. Luckily a few doors down was the most wonderful Indian restaurant called The Monsoon where my night was salvaged. They made my night exceptionally memorable and ensured the birthday girl was topped up with a free drink :P I would never ever step foot in Steakhouse again and I am lucky Groupon were so understanding about refunding my voucher.

The concept of the meal was excellent, with extreme choices of steak that we would never have considered before. The waitresses couldn't have done more for us and we thoroughly enjoyed the very hot experience. The only negative was that there wasn't enough room on the table for the platters and plates. The waitresses even put a candle in my husband's dessert for his birthday. Nothing was too much trouble. There were 9 of us in the party with 3 vegetarians. We will definitely go back. We had a Tastecard which saved us over £90! Really lovely evening. Well done.

After being disrespectfully spoken to on the booking of my meal, I still decided to continue and visit the place- which I wish I didn't. The staff are completely rude, we were treated like vermin from the moment we arrived. I am not one to leave negative reviews, look st my record I only use trip advisor to celebrate brilliant experiences but I cannot allow this place to steal people's money. The food was frozen (everything down to the meat) and nothing tasted the slightest bit fresh. Everything was overpriced and we were the only people in the restaurant on a Friday night! Says a lot for the place really. Took a while for me to find this place as its actually called STEAKHOUSE. But be warned. Not a nice thing to say about the place. I agree with all the previous reviews. My evening was ruined 80% just from the way the staff spoke to me and my partner. I would definitely not visit again even if it was free. There Are much nicer and cheaper places to eat in Watford without the risk of being treated like dirt. I don't know how they are still in business, by the looks of things they won't be for long. Awful.

In New Zealand I came across the concept of hot stone steaks and had the moat wonderful dining experience. So when I.came across an offer for Steakhouse I was really excited to tale my boyfriend there. Firstly the decor is awful. Very dark and unpleasant. Secondly the food was served on hot stones that were far to hot. They've invested in the concept but not learnt to do it properly. My steak had burnt on one side when it was served, I took it off the stone as directed and tried to enjoy the rest but each piece of mine and my.boyfriends steak stuck and burnt to the stone. I like my steak rare so it wasn't like I was over cooking it. I highlighted this to the waitress and she was useless. Told me to cut the burnt bit off. We ate the meal as we were very hungry and it was edible just not enjoyable. At the end the assistant manager came out and Iexplained my problem with the food. His response was, 'well no one else has ever said this complaint' not really the point,.most people probably just enjoyed the new experience whereas I am fortunate enough to have had this experience done properly. I then explained I did not was to pay the supplement. He then threatened to call the police. Very unprofessional. I was disappointed by the food and the way our complaint was dealt with.

I booked this restaurant through Top Table under the impression that there was a 25% discount. When we arrived we clearly stated that we had booked through Top Table with the discount and checked with the waitress that it was right. we were assured of the discount so we sat down and ordered. The food was average probably all frozen or pre cooked. when it came to paying the bill we were not given the discount and the manager on duty actually was extremley rude and my partner ended up having a row. we paid the bill in full. We would never go there again on principle. There are much nicer places to eat with much friendly staff in Watford

Woeful service by two unprofessional waitresses who sat giggling at the back and loudly discussing their private lives. Decor drab and outdated, some of the food clearly cooked from frozen, and at the end of the meal the waitress rudely insisted we wrote feedback comments. Couldn't recommend, and no wonder is it was practically empty on a Saturday evening.

We visited the Steakhouse through a Top Table offer. We were first told off for not printing the voucher (we apologised but we had never had to before - only to be lectured that they restaurant sets its own T&Cs - but they would let us have our booking). Really, for all that, they could have just smiled and said "Welcome"The meat was good and the service friendly. But the starters (we had to have to qualify for the offer) were terrible. Salad was gloppy with some awful dressing and quite frankly, we would have happily paid for the starters and just not had them. There was a scarey lady who simply stared at everybody from behind the bar without smiling, letting the poor waitress and one waiter run around like loons with heavy sizzling hot volcanic stones. If you want to visit I would recommend, asking for NO dressing on any salad you get. (Or seriously just offer to pay for the starters an not have them). When you get the meat, do what the blokes behind us did and get "chips and chips" because otherwise you get a handful of frozen chips and the other side of your plate swimming in salad dressing with a few leaves floating in it. Given the fabulous steak on a stone places, this place really hasn't made much effort. We're a nation of chip-lovers. They could at least use fresh chips, good quality oil and change the oil regularly. Upping the quality of the salad wouldn't cost them more than pence per head either.Although we enjoyed our exotic steaks, we're not sure we will go back. Even with 50% off.

I had lunch here once. Impressive selection of game steaks including springbok, kudu, crocodile, zebra,nyala etc.The steaks are served chilled raw and customers are handed heated stones to grill their steaks on-interesting but do be very careful and cautious to avoid getting burnt. Fairly safe in my view.The game steak I had was small and I thought a little bit overpriced.When I visited there were no lamb steaks or lamb chops on the menu -I do not know if they introduced it now but ifthey haven't I think they have missed a trick as this item can be sold at a lower cost and might appeal to those customers who do not fancy beef or game steaks.I would recommend you give it a try.

Once upon a time this was an italian restaurant. Now taken over as a steakhouse; they serve the steak just sealed, so very rare, but on a slab of volcanic rock. The rock is hot, very hot, 400c hot.You cut pieces of steak off, through them on the stone and cook to taste.I'd not tried it before so stuck with a rib eye. It was excellent, properly aged good meat.The unusual aspect is the choice of steaks; all sorts of deer, antelope, bison, kangaroo, crocodile . When you sit down they give you a chart showing what steaks they have in and how many.It's a carnivores dream.The chips were good, but not a large portion. The sweets were ordinary, OK nothing bad, but nothing to write about either.But..... The steak was great well worth the visit.Parking isn't easy, it's a busy road and there's no car park.

Had a deal to go to the Steakhouse in Watford. So much choice of which steak to choose from, Wildebeast or Kudo or fancy Crocodile or even Elk?You are given a very hot lava stone which stays hot for 45mins and you just cook your steak to how you like it! You are advised on how to cook it, you choose your side dishes, so no blaming the chef if you over cook it as you are the one doing the cooking, BBQ inside without the smoke., you can even have dessert afterwards.The only problem is car parking as it is right on the High Street and you may have to park some distance from it as you cannot park outside. But given that the food and choice made this Restaurant so different and the staff very helpful indeed. We would go back for more Bison,Antelope,Boar or even Springbok!

I recently purchased a Living Social deal that entitled me to a steak dinner with a glass of wine at The Steakhouse in Watford. Both me and my son had the Rib-eye steak and my daughter had chicken, the meat was served on hot volcanic rock which got to 450 degrees, you cooked the meat to your liking, it was served with cou cou / salad / chips. The whole meal was excellent. I will definately go back if in Watford again.
