The Pizza Grill in Selby

order at 7:54pm was told food would be 20-25 mins for collection. turned up at 7:25. partner was stood in the shop nearly 30 waiting for food.

I go to different takeaways depending on what I fancy and if I want a pizza, then The Pizza Grill is the place to go. I've had a couple of freebies from them, such as wraps and chips which have also been good. when I try more of the menu, I will be able to change my review to 5 star or 3 star depending on how good the meal is. As far as the pizzas go, 4 star it is.

We ordered a pizza, chicken wrap, medium doner kebab and wedges for delivery. The chips and wedges were still hot, crispy and tasty when the food arrived. The chicken wrap was enormous- too big for one sitting (we hadn’t been drinking!) with plenty of meat in it. The kebab meat was in one container with the pitta on top of it- not getting greasy- and the salad was crispy and fresh in its own container. The pizza was well made, with decent ham and not too salty. As a bonus, we got a good quality cheesy garlic bread for free. I will definitely order from here again.

We’ve just waited one hour and forty five minutes for a take away. The chicken we ordered was missing, the pizza was stone cold, the burger and chips was stone cold, the ice cream we ordered was the wrong one and it was excuse after excuse as to why it was so late. The shop said the driver was lost but he didn’t bother to call us despite having our number and then when we called the shop again the driver did subsequently call us saying he was in a different village? How could he ‘not’ be able to find our house when in actual fact he was several miles away? Expensive, rubbish and needs a swerve! We will never order from there again!
