Dough Outta Selby in Selby

Unfortunately, my partner and I were very underwhelmed with our takeaway from Dough. The Quesadilla was tasteless and greasy; the taco shells were stale and the meat in all our dishes was dry. Most dishes arrived cold as well, which made for a generally poor experience. Disappointing as this is our second time ordering and our second let down. We really want to support a local business but will probably not order again.

They cancel JustEat orders when they're small orders instead of just having a minimum spend on the app. Two weeks running now They accept the order then immediately cancel it.

Delivery from Uber. Took 2 hours 15 minutes (over an hour late from delivery estimate). Food was alright, nothing special… not really worth the cost though.

I ordered the tacos and the chicken tenders and they were so good!! great food and great service :)

Best pizza I’ve had in selby! Amazing choice of toppings you don’t find anywhere else, obviously homemade dough and cooked to absolute perfection! Even the veggies and vegans were happy and the staff were really accommodating with allergies. New favourite place to eat!

EDIT* Just Wow… what a poor and aggressive response and full of lies. 1)The address is perfectly correct as was the postcode (even dominoes found it) 2) I never swore or raised my voice at you 3) you tried to offer a free pizza AFTER I left the negative review . Very poor behaviour, service and response. I suggest some customer service training is in order as you can see from the other reviews your service and delivery times are appalling. Also I would suggest not offering a delivery service if you can’t actually get the food to customers hot and on time. Waited 2 hours for our order to be delivered. Never arrived…..sat here starving, so ordered from dominoes (selby) ready in 10 minutes (now that’s customer service) dough outta selby you’re c*ap. thanks to dominoes for saving the day 😊 Also just amazing that just this morning you have received five 5 star reviews within minutes of each other (yet have only received 25 all year previously) 😂 keep up the good work Craig!

Don't know where to begin, shocking. Genuinely the worst customer service I've ever encountered and that is no exaggeration. Ordered at 8.20pm, almost 2 hours later we ring to see what's going on. Given some story that Im highly doubtfull was even true, we were told the delivery driver would call to find address. They never rang, gave up in the end. I'm thinking the order was never made/sent, would have been nice to been informed that was the case rather than waiting around out of decency to see if it would turn up. Maybe the food is good, maybe not... I'll never know.

DOG POO PIZZA This how this place should be called .Absolutely disgusting.We ordered through Justeat the food was 20 minutes late arrived stone cold .The “MEATBALL”pizza was the worst food I have ever eaten in my life inedible ,something which looks like meatballs was so hard nearly broke my tooth. Tried to call the place but they put you straight to a voicemail no chance to speak with anyone. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THERE

Absolutely shocking. We ordered food from here about a month ago through just eat. one of the pizzas was completely burnt upon arrival. Delivery took nearly two hours (an hour over the original stated time). Despite being burnt, the food was somehow cold when it arrived. I contacted them directly to try to handle it without leaving a review but I was met with argumentative behaviour. Gregory, the director basically tried to blame us because we had to reheat it (as it was cold) and made excuses that the “delivery times are estimated”, etc etc. He was extremely condescending and didn’t try to help or find a resolution at all. We couldn’t figure out how to request a full refund on just eat and so we’d requested a partial refund. Gregory said, and I quote, “Are you wanting me to issue a full refund? My problem is that you 'have accepted through just eight a partial refund. At my end I cannot issue anymore as the payment though just eat as you have agreed to accept this.” I explained that it only allowed us to choose one item for a refund, when we’d ordered multiple. He then said he'd “see what he could do and get back to you”. That was on the 17th of October and I’ve heard nothing since and have not been refunded. I’ve messaged twice asking for an update and been left on read. Completely appalling behaviour. We would have given them a second chance but the way they’ve handled it has been atrocious. Beware!

I ordered food online. Never seen something that look char burned and bone cold. Then missing topping on my pizzas. Shocked at how bad it was

Ordered food and waited an hour and half with the app still saying out for delivery. After having to call them, found out the driver went to the wrong address and apparently called us…we received no calls. No apology and no food. Asked for a refund, which they provided. Won’t bother anymore. In reply to the comment: When calling I spoke to the driver who called and the chef, the owner was not on site and they didn’t mention anyone else. My wife can confirm the contact details were correct and we have just got another order from another company perfect fine who called us.

Ordered. Order was accepted on just eat. We sat back to wait. Only when I came to check did I find order cancelled. My issue isn't with cancelling an order accidents happen but lack of communication gets my goat when you get back from site and have hungry kids to feed.

Great quality food, taste amazing, would definitely order again. Good communication from the Dough Outta telling me they didn't have an item n offered an alternative option. Delivery driver got lost n called me straight away n was apologetic for calling me for directions. He arrived happy n smiling. Hope to order again soon n I'll have a pudding next time. 😁

Cannot fault this food. The vegan beef is unreal. Favourite takeaway in Selby

Mouldy buffalo fries for £4.00 and orderd two cans of american a&w root beer for £5.00 and recived two cans of cheep lidle pop made in kettering the bugers were wrong having paid an etra £3.00 for them to be doubles recived singles and low and behold all flat cold avoid this place- 5 guys prices mcdonals quality

Ordered the vegan burger which was alright tasting although cold with soggy salad. Ordered drinks but they weren't right when they came- with no phonecall to say they were going to be different to the advertised brands. But the biggest issue was the mould...not blue cheese. Chips may have been fresh but the cheese certainly wasn't! Not a keyboard warrior but their customer service skills are poor and defensive. We won't order again, don't worry I'd like my food uncontaminated, warm and as advertised/ ordered and without a side order of smarmy reply.

Great burgers and fries , orders on uber and arrived when said....was missing 1 item....but a quick call to park street and it arrived in 10 minutes......Great service 👏

I ordered the mac burger but when it arrived it was nothing like the description on the website as it was meant to be served with a mac and cheese slab but instead arrived with a small spoon full of mac dumped on top of the burger and was cold and the bun was burnt, the Korean fries was nice.

Had delivery, was quick and still hot. Great burgers and chips!

Delicious juicy burger 👌🏼 whoever says different is wrong!

Had the Buffalo Cheese fries and the Here Piggy Burger (pulled ham) and the Rueben Burger (sauerkraut and pastrami) tasted amazing. Buffalo suace was spicy but retained a good flavour. The burgers were cooked perfectly and packaged like authentic USA Street Burgers. If you can give these guys a go. Who needs Five Guys when these guys are in town.
