Delivery was first class but food quality and taste was poor

Slight mix up with our order - we were delivered someone else's food. However this was quickly resolved and the food was lovely. Mistakes happens. It's how they are solved that matters and this was handled well. Thank you.

Food was cold when it arrived, not happy at all

Ordered on just eat, Order was cancelled by the business. If you don't want to deliver to villages on busy nights then don't offer delivery on just eat to those addresses in the first place.

Driver was great. Garlic bread tomato arrived burnt, we order form here regular never had this issue when we complained was told it’s how they do there garlic bread. Rude and bad attitude!

Ordered 3 pizzas, one being bolognaise but nothing like bolognaise and didn’t get eaten

Always fantastic probably the best pizza in Selby! Kebab pizza is top notch and chips always crispy and fresh. Square pizza takes a bit of getting used to but every order is fresh and very tasty. Tried alternatives but always come back

Jacket potato with prawn mayo. The amount was on small side but plenty of mayo few prawns thrown in, potato was just warm. mixed doner kebab medium with chips salad and garlic sauce, chips very salty and no garlic sauce. Not impressed.

Food never showed up not always a great start. I’d advise using better delivery drivers

The food was okay, however.... the delivery driver attempted to short change me.... not once but twice. Interestingly on the third attempt, I was handed my change direct out of his pocket.

ordered at 5.30 arrived at 7.30 for ASAP order . would have been quicker to put a specific time.

Made a mistake ordering for pick up. The team and the manager were really helpful and managed to get the order delivered. Great service and delivery despite my mistake.

I ordered from the app and asked for no tomato on my donor wrap expecting the rest of the salad like the lettuce and onion in said wrap when I received the order it was just donor meat and a little bit of sauce no salad at all

Food wasn’t great tonight. Donna meat was really salty, and greasy. The chips where soggy from the grease.

Food never arrived. Celled to chase, answered then ignored.

Kebab didn’t come with any sauces even though I ordered them. Pizza dough was slightly undercooked. Not bad but not great.

Finally a Chicken Kebab that isn't Red/Burgundy stained bucket Chicken, lovely tasting, well cooked. Actually cut open and used the Pitta correctly!! Finally! Both sauces came in tubs, not splashed over the chicken as some places do. Chips were tasty, hot, lovely. Chicken Pop pieces were real chicken coated and really tasty. It could be better- Shish Cooked over Charcoal, but that's so rare nowadays, recommend!

Ordered at 7:30. It turned up at 9:20. Everything was stone cold! So we rang the take away and they just said what do you want us to do about it… an offer of another meal wouldn’t of gone a miss seen as the order was over £30 for a pizza and two sides was expensive enough to then not be edable.

Service is absolutely appalling. We ordered online, there was an error on payment and payment didn’t go through therefore we tried again later. The payment went successfully and a receipt was given. However when we went to collect they said they received the order. They,d not cooked it yet as we were 10mins early but they refuse to pay our money back. We ordered 4 pizzas for £60 and had to go home with 9 pizzas 2 jacket potatoes total of £131. This is just outrageous as they had not cooked the pizza but still refused to pay us back. Pizza was okay however was cold and barely any sauce. The thin crust are so thin that the toppings just slides off it. Definitely will not order again and do not recommend.

My order was not right rang to tell them pay £24 for the smallish portion of Donna meat which came on salad why ! And a small mixed kebab the small things ever can believe you charged £18 for WoW when ordered I asked for large mixed kebab the one that’s service two people with chips!!! and two pitta bread salad and sauces and instead got the above went I rang to say the order was not right only offered some chips but as explained by the time I came for the chip everything would be cold and how rude he was said when you order it’s not a mix kebab and was not interested just put down phone down. I’m sure of bit of kebab meat on salad and a mix kebab with nothing else will serve two people and £24 wish I’ll have taken a picture!!! what as happens to it used to be good service and good food but now it’s poor quality and we’re has the customer service gone it’s very rude customer Service now

Order was never delivered. Had to cancel the order due to having to go to London which is a long drive on an empty stomach. Verbally cancelled the order with the takeaway.

Not as good as other times I’ve had Pizza king, base was quite soggy and even though I ordered extra pepperoni there were about 5 pieces across the entire thing.

Ordered our food at 5pm they said a 640pm delivery rung them at 715 they said it's on their way….rung them back at 830pm for them to say it's been delivered so we've ended up with no food. We have CCTV so it's been downloaded from 5pm to 830pm for evidence.

i ordered a doner burger meal. no doner meat on burger at all

i know its a takeaway but id be happy if it was still hot, came luke warm at best

paid for deep pan - not deep pan, paid for extra mushrooms - no mushrooms, wasn't the hottest pizza I've ever eaten either but when it's 20mins late then its what you'd expect... randomly recieved a bottle of Pepsi too

For the price I paid, I got what seemed like 2 portions worth so really can’t complain. Tasty as well

What the hell is this? Awful awful awful, the kebab Is dry, hard, cold and looks like it's been reheated won't be buying one of them again, should not be selling it like that. Had to eat the little bit of good meat, disgusting food service. Loved paying £8.00 for a bit of salad.

Appalling, I phoned several times and spoke to people who couldn’t help and clearly couldn’t understand.

Ordered for 17.45, arrived at 16.30, my wife was still at work. Chicken was cold and under cooked, portion size was small for price. Will never order from here again and will be reporting to heath and hygiene

Terrible experience waited 1 hour 25 mins rang to ask where my food was.they,d been to the wrong address.so by the time we got the food it was cold total cost £30 for cold food never again.

Called here tonight for a Sicilian pizza. Young man on the counter offered amazing customer service. 10 Minutes later I was on my way home with a delicious pizza! Amazing food with great customer service...what more could you ask for? Customer service: 10/10 Choice on menu: 10/10 Quality of food: 10/10 Well done!

Decent takeaway, food was tasty and hot BUT messed up various parts of most of the order, went back to rectify some but didn't have time to sort all, missed sides and sauces, one was the wrong order, suggest a full check on receipt

We got delivery, food has taken 2 hours to get here and it’s cold aswell. They should of apologised for how long it was.

Called to enquire why my delivery time had increased to over 2 hours to be told they were cancelling my order. The bloke on the phone was pig rude. Dodge this place of you're hungry or don't like wasting time.

Absolute joke of a company they advertise delivery to our area let the payment go through and send a text to say it’s too far away, when I called them to find out why the extremely rude member of staff was horrible, I would not recommend this take away ever! There are many more out there who do appreciate your business.

We ordered our food and waited an hour and a half to get it and for it to be stone cold. We called up and whoever was on the phone asked us “what he wanted us to do about it” and when food got delivered the burger came burnt. We spend money here every week, don’t think we will again.

My go-to take away. Excellent pizzas and burgers, I don't go anywhere else.

Think they flew the pizza over from Italy it took that long. The lady we dealt with over the phone was very lovely and understanding but sounds like the management didn't have a clue. We order every week but probably won't again, 3 hours for one pizza is crazy

I'm here on holiday for a few days. It's rare to find a deep pan pizza option .... Deep pans are my favourite. My pizza was delicious, as were the others we ordered. Arrived piping hot and delivered EXTREMELY quickly. 15 minutes after the shop opened. I will definitely be ordering again next time I'm down. To all the staff ...... Thank you.

PRC PLEX ROOFING CONTACTORS BURGER. we work hard and need substance at the end of the day. PRC BURGER - beef, chicken, bacon and doner. Plus small pizza work hard 👍need to eat well. Great food at great price. Seen other post about times for delivery I asked them to deliver in a hour when I got home and timing was spot on.

grim. pizza’s toppings all slid to one side like it’d been held vertically for some reason. base was doughy like it hadn’t been cooked long enough. don’t bother.

25 minutes late call up and don’t have a clue what’s going on with your order very poor customer service 2 hours for a pizza altogether

2 hours waiting for delivery, food was swimming in grease and the boxes and bags were nearly falling apart from how wet they were, and we had food missing, won’t be ordering from these again!

The food is generally ok, what you would expect from a local takeaway, the chips are quite nice. However an estimated 2 hour delivery time is not good enough, especially when after phoning up to ask it became a 3 hour delivery time. The person over the phone was polite and apologetic but a 3 hour delivery time for a local takeaway is inexcusable and no compensation of any sort was offered.

What a joke for the price. I'd order from elsewhere if you want to eat a decent sized meal. £4.50 for chips and cheese that looked like they had been half eaten and they had fished them out the bin to reuse. Hardly any cheese and a handful of chips. All food was cold and took over 30 mins past delivery time which was already 45mins! Couldn't even eat half the food it was that bad.

Horrible service!!! Over 2 hours wait for an order. All they do is lie that your order will be with you shortly but they haven't even started prepping it in the kitchen. Never again

Cold food. Got order wrong, large mixed doner/chicken kebab and chip, Came with no chicken and was same size as a kids meal also ordered. No free garlic bread cheese as requested. Offered to bring chicken meat and garlic bread. Waited 45 mins for rest of order to be delivered. Not worth £35

Ordered a takeaway from Pizza King on Sunday and had a generally unpleasant experience. We ordered a Meat Feast meal deal and found a bug in the dough of the pizza. We rang to complain about the order and was offered another meal in replacement. Instead of another pizza meal, we ordered a burger meal as we were put off by the situation with the pizza. However, we expected the £5 difference in price between the burger meal deal and the pizza meal deal to be refunded, however the unpleasant and unhelpful manager didn’t accept this. He refused to acknowledge the problem with a bug in a pizza, and expected us to eat the bug contaminated pizza and the burger as well, expecting us to be grateful as we were getting a ‘free burger’. The rude manager refused to help us and didn’t offer a refund of any kind, even the difference in price we rightfully deserved. We as a group work in hospitality and have a high level of experience in the area so we understand how mistakes and mishaps happen, our issue wasn’t with this, but simply the way we were treated as to be lying and expecting of more than we deserved. However, we would like to thank the driver for his patience, as we know that this wasn’t his mistake, and how he has taken the time out of his night, with us being his last order, to bring us a replacement order. Very disappointed, and you have lost another loyal customer

Chips came cold.Tasted like old chips warmed up badly was cold when arrived Tasted awful. Burger was fine but tepid. Didn't know my daughter was ordering from here. I've had much better Other places sell fresh lovely tasting chips not limp and lifeless.

About the person taking orders. the person answering the phone at pizza king in Selby is not polite and lies to the customers, the food was good but the waiting time was double what it said when ordering..

Ordered at 18:15 by phone call. 3 items, 1 pizza, 1 burger, and 1 large cheesy chips. 19:15, called up and asked where our order was, "it is on its way, will be with you soon". 20:15, still no delivery, call back up. "Your order is on its way" both times in a fairly unreasonable manner. 21:15, just about to call up and hear a knock at the door. 3 hours to get a takeaway that is mean to be fast ish food. The Burger didn't have chicken tikka on as requested, large cheese and chips are not large at all, as well as being cold, the only OK thing about the order is the pizza. After ringing up to complain, I am asked to repeat myself again and then the next words they have to say "I don't see how I've spoken rudely", he checks with what they can do and it's just an offer of a free pizza, it's been our first time ordering and weather or not we take that free pizza is upon us as would have to wait another 3 hours.

We usually order from here and have no issues but tonight was disappointing. This is how our pizzas turned up... They had clearly been dropped on the floor and still sent out. All the cheese had stuck to the box lid and it was such a mess.
