Mario's Pizza & Grill in Selby

Ordered thin base but sadly standard ‘base’ delivered, does not seem like great issue unless you struggle with medical issues. Shame, pizza looked good 😔

Banging food, not from the area and its better than where I live. Fries perfect 👌thick slices of pepperoni on the pizza. Will be back

FANTASTIC! visited on 16th December 2023 as a random Saturday night walk in. The second I stepped in, the lady on the counter was lovely and so was the man (Mario I presume) this is my second time at marios after ordering the first time. The garlic bread was lush as was the margarita and lovely,attentive staff x

Got a hawaiian pizza and it was the bomb!

Spot on place delivered to me in my lorry on a night out no question s asked, only down side was small lumps of bone in donner meat but otherwise nice

The pizza is as good as dominoes, but its half the price

Had ham and mushroom pizza. Usually have Domino's, but this was easily as good if not better and far better value for money.

Kebabs nice and pizzas OK though the tandoori chicken is just salty thigh meat. There's nothing tandoori about it whatsoever.

After looking at so many spelling mistakes on the menu, I got a tandoori chicken pizza and had some of my friends kebab. The flavour is good, price was decent and was served by Mario himself. 9/10 for taste (just only because the chicken meat was thigh meat rather than breast. Also the massive positive the kebab was made from lamb meat.) However value for money this is very good.

Food was on time. Ordered a meat feast pizza with jalapeños- was hot when arrived and very fresh and tasty. Fresh ingredients and looked good too. Fries were also fresh and piping hot, with lots of lovely chip spice on. 8/10 will order again

Hit n miss. Nice pizza but doner kebab wasn't good. Meat wasn't freshly carved and meat i got was crusty.

Just ordered chips from marios and I got given a bag less than half empty. I'm having them for tea and sharing them with three people normally I get partially full bag

I always order a kebab with chilli sauce and mayonnaise. Here they have been charging 60p extra for additonal sauce without warning you in advance; I only spotted it because the total didn't add up. Clearly taking advantage of people; what else are they getting up to in attempt to rip you off? Be very careful

Great little place kebabs are a really good size for the price and very tasty. The delivery service is second to none. had the food delivered to my campervan on 2 nights and the driver was always quick and polite. If i find myself up this way again i will deffo be going back. Cheers guys

I waited 2 hours for a donner wrap they appilogised because they got thr wrong house which is fair enough and said they were gonna give us a fresh one however y turned up cold and minging and I also found a peice of hair in my wrap which was white/grey and they claim that noone has grey hairs I got told to call food hub even though I didn't order of there and they did nothing about the situation and I'm really not happy I waited 2 hours to get a hair ball! I will never ever be ordering for there again thr staff are rude on the phone and they don't help you one bit! A picture to prove it as they thought I was lying

Pizza and kabab are amazing from here, however massive let down is all the chicken meals. Peri peri chicken isn’t peri peri at all, chicken is rock solid and the picture of the chicken burgers on The menu are loaded with lettuce and sauce Got one today to have a big bun and the tiniest piece of chicken and that’s it no sauce no nothing and tasted absolutely vile. Only thing what’s lets this place down.

Pizzas are always perfect, friendly staff too.. I've always chosen Mario's over commercial pizza chains because they're so much nicer and also you cannot fault the price.

Excellent pizza, loaded with toppings. Lovely garlic mayo too. I would definitely recommend them, and I will return.

Dominos Pizza chain recently opened a branch in Sherburn in Elmet but we continue to support Mario's because the pizzas are delicious and much better value. The portions of fries are massive and the build your own calezone is to die for.The guys serving are always cheerful and polite.Love it!!!

Ordered 3 pizzas and fries and the pizzas were tasteless. Most of it went in the bin. The fries on the other hand were delicious.

We visit this takeaway regularly and it is always a friendly service. We down sized to one portion of fries due to the massive portions. Not a criticism at all. The pizzas remind me of Pizza Hut type bases which again is not a criticism. The calazone pizzas have buckets of filling and are delicious. The standard flats pizza also are gorgeous with very generous toppings of which you can choose to 'pick & mix'. Domino pizza has just opened a new branch in the town but I hope that doesn't affect Mario's trade as the food is excellent and the service personal.

My Son loves it, I dont think there is an italian insight, this business will no doubt suffer now that Dominos is open.

Simply delicious. Got kids chicken nuggets & chips with a drink. Grilled Chicken Shish wrap, chips, Chicken Tikka Pizza. Good size portions, took the food back to our campsite. Was still piping hot. Quality was v good

Gorgeous tasty vegetarian pizza

Phoned and ordered a 1/2lb cheese burger and plain ordinary chips with a side or breaded mushrooms... When I got home following collection I found the chips had been covered in a spicy salt based condiment and rendered them inedible... I looked at the burger and there was a tiny, 1/4 burger which was dry and cold and had obviously been fried, and more than once and there was only a slight hint of cheese being present... Then the breaded mushrooms... well they were garlic mushrooms in a grease laden sauce which was so greasy, it had soaked the bag completely they had been placed in. Now not wanting to be picky, plain chips are just that, not covered in a salty powder... a 1/2 lb burger isn't a dried up old 1/4 burger which looked totally lost in the bun... And breaded mushrooms are that, not garlic infused slimy inedible mushrooms... maybe the girl thought I said dreaded mushrooms. I returned to the shop to reorder the correct meal and even though I explained the previous order was incorrect and describing what was required the gormless girl said 'so what do you want?' after I had just seconds before explained fully what was required. .. The previous time I had been there 12 months prior, I ordered a pizza... that was thrown in the bin when I got home as it was under cooked and when a slice was picked up ALL of the toppings fell of into the box... This place is well past its sell by date... I WILL NEVER VISIT THIS HIDEOUS TAKE AWAY AGAIN WITH THE EXCEPTION OF RETURNING THE BURGER MEAL FOR COMMENT.🤢🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮

Ordered Lasagna which was very tasty, l also ordered a garlic bread which was more like a garlic crisp bread which had been left in the oven too long, plus the delivery was way too long 1hr 10mins.

Rubbish delivery and constantly forgetting items off my order.

There were a few teething problems in the beginning, getting orders wrong etc however now it's great. Staff are always polite and efficient. Our go to place for a Pizza!

Been three times not the best Pizza in Sherburn and the Kebab was alright but smothered in Chilli after asking for a little chilli - base of pizza not brilliant soggy.

Amazing pizza. All to say.We first tried Mario’s when it first opened and have never looked back since.Really good value for money a 10inch Margherita is less than £5! Pizzas aren’t greasy, tomato sauce on them is lovely and well seasoned. Would say they compete with dominoes and more than half the price cheaper. Would not go anywhere else now.

We have used the place on a semi regular basis since it opened and can't find fault, the pizza is excellent and the kebabs are my favourite and the staff are very courteous. Well recommended.

Constantly late un professional argumentative, things missing from orders also the food could be a higher standard from all the people who missed their break tonight and received cold food 30 minutes late

Tried this place twice now. The first time it was horrible but it had just opened so was really busy so thought we would give them the benefit of the doubt and try again . BIG MISTAKE!
