Very sad we no longer have a burger King in york

This place is closed has been for months

Never open. Last time I went a fat girl said we're closed why don't you go to Gregg's next door. No thanks. Just been again lights off pieces of a4 paper taped to front saying Burger King is closed. Don't bother visiting you're wasting your time. Find another one

Went there today at 5:30 pm and all closed up?

Over the top manager spoiled the visit. Other staff were apologetic for his behaviour. Small man wants power unfortunately, I hope he finds it during his Burger King career. Food was good but won’t be going back.

Shocking , very slow service the girl didn’t have a clue how to speak to customers she had one speed only , didn’t give us straws for our drinks had to ask her for everything and it seemed too much trouble for her. Also the toilets looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in months Disgusting place We visited Sunday 25th October around 1-45, don’t know the name of the girl but there was only 2 members of staff working

Look liked staff were short handed with a big queue

Had poor experiences here in the past but decided to give it another go since it’s been refurbished. How wrong I was we arrived walked up to the counter and there were no staff to be seen so we waited and waited and waited and then left and went to McDonalds across the road!!! What a joke, I’m amazed they’re still in business.

Food was nice and hot but the car park looks like it's never seen a brush or litter picker, the bins inside were all full. The gents toilet was untidy with tissue everywhere..they need more than three staff on...

I went in before and was served by a lady with purple hair and she was so disrespectful when I was trying to figure out what I wanted. Although I went back today and she wasn't there but there was a young woman with brown hair who served me and she was so kind to me.

Pretty ordinary service and place

I only stopped by for a drink and a rest and I decided to buy a little strawberry sundae as I'm suffering from a sore throat. But for £1.29 it was the best little strawberry sundae I've ever had! The man behind the counter was extremely polite and friendly and when I dropped my bank card and he was quick to offer to pick it up for me as I use 2 crutches.

Plastic removed from toys in kids meals but still using plastic straws? Not very good

Clean and tidy dining area with a fresh refurbished contemporary look. Dead quiet on a Sunday evening, yet efficient and friendly service from engaged young staff. Food was hot and tasty, but had the appearance of being reheated rather than made fresh. A pleasant enough stop on the road to York. Gents toilets out of order though.

Sorry to say food was not that good, over cooked,and a bit dry,the bun was dry. And the toilets were disgusting... Mike

Very good, really nice helpful staff, food was excellent and hot! A bit more expensive than mcdonald's but in my opinion a better meal

Dirty, good tasted like it's been sat all day

My partner and I had a good experience here. The staff were very friendly in particular a young lad and two girls with red dyed hair. It's nice to know there are still genuinely kind people in the world.

It was shocking. Dirty, rubbish lying around. People sweeping outside but the toilets were disgusting. Will not go back.

Arrived about 1.30 They were not open

A bit different here now. We used to stop here for breakfast when it was a Little Chef. Very scruffy now dirty tables and floors. Won’t be back.

Just junk food never been in burger king

On visiting Burger King, Tadcaster Services, we were disgusted to see filthy chairs, tables & a filthy floor!!! My husband & myself decided to order our lunch from Gregg's as the staff looked very unclean to say the least, serving behind the counter in BK!!! The staff in Gregg's were more than happy to make us a baguette/sandwich of our choice & were cleaning around the BK dining area. We did ask The BK staff to clean our table etc. before we sat down but they were unwilling to do so, baring in mind they were extremely quiet at this particular time!!! The most horrible young man (who had previously changed the bin in the BK restaurant with no gloves on then went straight into the BK kitchen & prepared food without washing his hands!!!) came out from BK & refused to clean anywhere even though he wasn't doing anything!!! We believe his name to be "David." He then proceeded to Gregg's telling there staff that they should be cleaning the dining area??? Gregg's staff were doing all the work already!!! There was a very helpful young man called Bradley who worked in Gregg's who prepared our baguette/sandwich & was clearing-up & a lovely lady (unfortunately we didn't get her name) behind the counter in Gregg's who both deserve a medal for putting up with the terrible way in which the BK staff treat them!!! We would recommend going to Gregg's at Tadcaster Services but definitely avoid BK!!!

Staff are lovely, but could do with the tables and floors being cleaned. The toilets are vile, but they aren't the responsibility of Burger King or the other shops. Major let down is their isn't any baby change facilities even though it is advertised

Plenty of parking and easy access and a greggs

Stayed at the travel lodge as I was working in the area for 4 days. Opening hours are ridiculously short, I get that it's not on a major route but still 08:00-23:00 is the very minimum you'd expect for a service station to be open.

Good clean and welcoming staff, just dropping a star because of the cost.

I called in for a quick snack with my son and waited over 25 minutes for my food to appear.the floor was covered in rubbish and the toilets were filthy.The manageress looked stressed and was shouting at the staff as well as being a little rude to the lady in front of me who enquired how long her food would be.All in all not a good experience and i wont be calling in again.

My girlfriend and I were verbally abused by one of the staff known as Che Harrison, absolutely disgusting display. Brilliant support though from his work colleagues who apologised for his disgusting behaviour on his behalf, which they honestly shouldn’t of had to do. Also there were family’s present at the time , I will never even be buying from Burger King again. There wasn’t even a manager on hand to deal with the situation, he was warned once by one of the staff to calm his behaviour and then 5 minutes later still continued with the abuse.

This place is only a month old and there's rubbish everywhere around the exterior, toilets are dirty, restaurant floor dirty, staff stood outside smoking, spitting on the floor (then back to work without any hand washing). This place should be immaculate. If only they were managed by McDonald's...

Closed when i arived and its only 8 pm

Simple outlet with very limited seating, only 4 small tables by the counter; prices higher than elsewhere but food was hot and tasty.

Too expensive won't be calling again....

This was not the best services I have visited. The food was ok. The staff where the best partabout the visit. I also needed to change my baby and there was only a changing station in the disabled toilets. There was people that where not disabled using the toilets so I was stood for 20mins (and I was looking at my watch) with a newborn baby waiting for them to come out.

Very very very slow on a Friday night. Maybe 6 people in the queue. Didn't move for 10 minutes. Just churn out the whoppers so there is a quick option for people. Nothing available on the chutes unlike McDonald's where u can grab a Big Bag and be gone even when busy. Looked over the crash barrier in jealously at the McDs across the road West Bound. To be fair to the staff they seemed to be trying.

Came to this place on my way to York and the staff looked like they wanted to be anywhere but there. They were rude, blunt and the place looked scruffy. There were children screaming and the staff were talking about their personal lives loud enough for me and other customers to hear. The burgers them selves tasted like cardboard. I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone.

Not many seats more of a drive through

Burgers were cooked to order so was a wait but they were also dripping as we ate it wasn't clear if it was water out of the meat or grease.
