The Pit Stop Diner in North Somerset

The breakfast was really good and good value for money . What the big shame of the place was the blue haze from the cooking and the smell. Although the extractors were on , I don’t know where it was extractor the cooking smell as I had to come home and wash my clothes and shower - it was that bad! It has put us off revisiting. We were on a day off , but if we were working we couldn’t go back to work . Other than that friendly people and chilled atmosphere.

The site was immaculately clean, the staff were perfectly presented and friendly and the atmosphere was welcoming.The food was served in generous portions and was to die for. mine was a medium breakfast which was fresh delicious and set me up for a long day.Highly Recommended!❤️

Great breakfast, welcoming staff.

We visited here for a family breakfast. Breakfast was amazing (full English),good choice on the menu, staff were really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The only thing that stopped my 2 boys and husband fron their food was when they were admiring the cars in the showroom. What a brilliant idea having the diner in the middle of a car showroom. My boys thought it was fab. Lovely place and lovely food we will definitely be paying another visit

A really interesting menu. A bit different from the normal breakfast menu, the bubble and squeak is delicious, the coffee fab and there is always a smile. We are blessed with good places fir breakfast and this is one of the best.

This roadside cafe near Lympsham selling traditional English food is easy to miss unless you are a regular on the A370 road into Weston-super-Mare. It is part of the Mores Motor Company garage so if you are a Ford RS enthusiast or owner (like me) you can browse the cars after your meal here. I thought the food on offer was good value, I had a cappuccino in a mug at a bargain £1.50 and a brie/cranberry open sandwich with salad at £5.80. The service was efficient and the food delicious.There are seats indoors and outdoors and a very clean customer toilet. The only downside I could see is that there was just one person serving on the day I visited so there might well be a wait for service at busy times. The cafe is open every day except Sunday. Recommended.

After having spent an hour getting through horrendous traffic at Bridgwater, we were thrilled to chance upon this little diner. Spotlessly clean, lovely lady serving. Mike had a lovely breakfast. Unfortunately her bread delivery hadn't arrived and there was nothing else I fancied so I just had a cup of tea which was super.

This place is amazing. Fabulous fresh cooked food at very reasonable prices, from quick snacks to a good choice of main meals from the menu. The Pit Stop Diner is spotlessly clean and you are always made to feel very welcome. I can't recommend it highly enough.An added bonus if you enjoy cars, is the adjacent showroom of Mores Motor Company. This is the best selection in the country, that I have seen, of very special sporting Fords. From Escorts to Mustangs it even has the late Mark Lovell's rally Escort on display. Well worth a visit.

Found this dinner by chance and me family and friends have been many times and return As the bacon is the thickesr and best in any brekies iv had in weston. Please dont change Sue.x

The café was spotless and the staff were friendly enough. The food that was being served looked really nice. What let it down was 2 things. 1. It was over an hour from ordering a two bacon rolls, to actually receiving the order! Good job it wasn't busy!! 2. Lots of graffiti having been sprayed on the premises, which was very concerning. One can only hope there is no truth in it. Would I revisit? Probably not.

Having seen the pit stop pop up on Facebook me and my son decided to call in and try it whilst on our way to visit a friend... Well we were both glad we stopped.. The place its self is very clean and inviting with some very nice cars to look at and the lady that served us was lovely and friendly. Me being a big Yorkshire man decided to go for the big breakfast and I was not disappointed. 3 eggs, 3 bacon, 3 sausage, hashbown, mushrooms, beans, tomatoes, fried bread, toast, bread and butter.. All quality products and cooked perfect... My son just had a bacon butty but proper thick bacon not the usual fatty stuff you can see through.. So would i recommend...... Hell yes call in you will not be disappointed. I for one will definitely be returning.

Visiting for Scotland and Staying nearby at a wee holiday cottage decided we wanted to go for breakfast, found this place on google, so glad we did, breakfast was fantastic huge portions and the the lady was so friendly, enjoyed looking at the old ford cars, lovely wee place

Lovely food, great value and a friendly service

The night before our trip from Manchester to Padstow I had already checked this place out and what a great place to pull in for brunch. It’s about ten minutes off the M5 from junction 22 and if you put the post code in the Sat Nav it will take you right to the door. There are two very nice girls running the Pit stop serving up freshly prepared food. We both had the medium breakfast which is a bit of a whopper and very tasty too. The whole thing together for two medium breakfast with coffees came to £13.00. Which I recon compared to the overcrowded, dingy service station I had to call in just before J 22 was probably half the price they would charge. Well done girls.

We found this diner when we were staying nearby in the premier inn, lovely place, we had breakfast there and it was very nice and freshly cooked, the owner of the diner was very welcoming, and friendly would definitely go there again and would also recommend

Great food, not greasy very well cooked. Friendly and a pleasure to be surrounded by some retro classics in concourse condition. Will be visiting again.

Having stayed at the nearby Premier Inn we wanted somewhere slightly different for breakfast. Found this was nearby online so off we went. So glad we did. You could quite easily pass by and not realise this little gem is tucked away here. This is a truly unique experience in many ways. From the friendly welcome, Sue and her colleague could not do enough for us. The amazing food freshly cooked to order, which was great value - you will never leave here hungry and much cheaper than the nearby establishment. To the unique setting with some fascinating cars that brought back many memories. The service is superb - we were even pointed in the direction of the nearest Post Office which we needed. This was a great start to a family holiday and we cannot recommend highly enough - I am just very sad we do not live nearer as we would visit here regularly if we did. Thank you so much Sue

Out for a Sunday drive, we came across, what appeared to be, a second hand car dealership with a jacuzzi showroom and small cafe. Odd combination for sure but we stopped to eat nevertheless. The owner Sue was very friendly, as were the 2 assistants. We ordered medium breakfasts, which would have been large in many other establishments, and beverages. Food was great and the tea perfect. The usual breakfast ingredients with a choice of baked beans or tomatoes. An added bonus was to view some retro Ford cars on display in the showroom attached. I would highly recommend this cafe if you are a breakfast or car connoisseur.

The friendly staff serve great breakfasts, make sure you are hungry if you order the large one! A real FULL English should include Black Pudding and Bubble & Squeak. This one does.

Very good food and a friendly welcome for all. The breakfasts here are lovely, you have to wait as they are freshly cooked, but well worth it. The cakes are also very good. Sue is a lovely lady and would definitely worth a visit an value for money.

Had breakfast whilst staying in the Premier Inn down the road and it was delicious. I had the (not so) small breakfast and my wife had scrambled eggs and bacon on muffins. Everything was cooked fresh and the ingredients all top quality. Add in very friendly service and reasonable prices and this is a must visit for a breakfast...

Whilst on route to Brean Sands, myself and my two daughters stumbled across this fantastic diner... the food served here is fantastic, great value for money with a selection to offer even the fussiest of customers...the premises were wonderfully clean and the owner; a lovely women called Susan could not of been more welcoming if she tried ... I would recommend this place to everyone I mo 100%

Great coffee and breakfast - and if you're a petrolhead, there are usually a selection of cars for sale. They also have regular visits from car clubs - the day I was there they were expecting 30 minis!

Brilliant little diner. Food cooked to order and piping hot and fresh. Food reasonable cost and great size portions. I had medium breakfast, 2 bacon, 2 sausage, mushroom, hash brown. Egg. Beans or tomato. Drink and bread and butter. Felt full afterwards. Staff friendly and welcoming. Really enjoyed reminiscing looking at all old fords. Maybe more signage above the door to encourage more business as only thing telling you a diner was here was a road sign and Google maps. Definately recommend. Brilliant diner

Stumbled across diner as needed somewhere open early. So glad we found it. Wouldn't know it was there as no signage on front, only on Windows and a board out front on road. Maybe a big sign on shop front needed to gain more business. Food was reasonable and large portions. Had medium breakfast and it was idea sized. Food cooked fresh. Staff friendly and helpful. Loved the old cars in garage, lovely to reminise. Would definitely recommend and return.

I went to The Pit Stop Diner to film for Sue who is in charge of that section of the Mores Motor Building. Upon arrival the cafe is in a fantastic area with a nice view of some very nice cars. The food is very filling and takeaway is available if you're in a rush.
