What a great place. Only had drink but very enjoyable

Nice place. The food is good, and it is quickly served. I asked to move tables for a better customer experience, but they refused, claiming they were full, which wasn't the case. It could have been a better experience

We didn't eat here but I have previously and it's been great. They were short staffed when I last went, so I needed to wait to be served.

We had dinner as a family of 5 and had a super meal. The service was friendly and efficient. The food was absolutely lovely, well beyond your traditional ‘pub grub’. My son loved the playground and the chickens in the garden. I would highly recommend.

I visited for lunch today with a large group for a leaving do. I had the chicken and mushroom pie. It was actually chicken and leek I think, no mushrooms and half way through I found and nearly swallowed two sharp thin bones and a bit of leg knuckle. Clearly made with cheaper leg meat rather than breast and hadn’t been properly trimmed. Didn’t taste good either. It’s really not difficult to prepare chicken properly. We didn’t get anyone checking to see if our meal was ok. I left half of it after finding the bones and mentioned it and showed the server the bones when the staff cleared the table ten minutes later. I raised this when paying but was told no one else had complained which seemed to suggest they thought I was making it up. I was told they would refund a small potion of the (expensive - £18 for pie and mash) meal as I had eaten some! They really didn’t care less. I would have made more of it but didn’t want to hold up my colleagues or make a big scene. I should have done! Worse, they then charged me full price which I didn’t notice until after I left. Unfriendly, unhelpful and very poor attitude and food. I have been there several times but most definitely won't be back and won’t recommend to anyone else. The rest of the food wasn’t even very good. What a shame they don’t care about good service and putting

Our 2nd visit to The Pink & Lily just had to write and rave about the amazing food, the chefs are A1. Every dish is made with heart and passion. Delicious and the attention detail is superb. Thank you team for your professional, friendly service. We will be back!!

This came highly recommended to us. Was looking forward to a great evening of good food with the boys. Sadly the kitchen closed early and we never got to sample anything. The staff where very helpful and friendly the young man serving us recommended somewhere else. Where we had a wonderful evening at The Gate.

Tasty food. Never got the glass of water I asked for, but it wasn't a big deal.

Was really looking forward to the visit, as I'd heard so many good things! Sadly our experience didn't match what others have said. When I booked I asked about Gluten free options, as there is nothing on the website, yes, ah, I said, but is it you can't have this this and these things, etc, oh no was the reply. Reader, IT IS! Not even a gluten free bun to have with a burger!! Not good enough these days! Then the bubble and squeak option produced cold, fatty bacon, overdone bubble and squeak cake and a hard overdone poached egg. That was sent back. When we got the bill it was announced that the bubble and squeak meal had been taken off the bill-er, yes! Not bothering to go again, Very disappointing!

I’m not a veg man but tonight I ate the veg before the pie which was absolutely delicious - couldn’t fault it! Atmosphere was quiet but we were early eaters! Would highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Food was great, specials menu locally sourced and all looked delicious very hard to choose just one dish. Service was excellent

Quick enough to take your money at 17.55 without telling me they were closing at 18.00 as we were sitting in the garden and then moan when I ask to use the toilet? Completely the wrong and bad attitude to have with a customer facing business. Perhaps the staff would benefit from hospitality training.

What a delightful pub fantastic food very tasty and large portion we had 2 young children in our party and they were lovely with them There is also a great play area

Nice location, warm friendly atmosphere. Sunday roast was very good, Fish and chips not the greatest. Good beer and overall a pleasant experience and would go back.

Popped in for lunch and had a fantastic meal. The staff were very friendly and attentive and the cost very reasonable for the quality of the food. Oh, I nearly forgot to mention the well-kept, Rebellion beers on tap, very nice!

Thanks for finding us the cosy corner [brooks] for my mum's birthday, and lighting the open fire specially for us, makes a big difference. Enjoyed the food & drinks but one of us had an allergy to onions & didn't think they would be on their choice [sea bass]. We would normally check but will ask every time now. Thanks for the entertaining guess the age of the birthday girl, was fun.

Gourmet pub, Bucks prices. Friendly and helpful. Wood fire, good sized car park.

Nice warm and cosy pub with friendly staff. It was very busy but they found a place to seat us and the chicken and ham pie was the best pie I've had in a restaurant for years. There some interesting choices on the menu as well as more traditional classics. They had a great selection of home made ice cream for afters. Really enjoyed our meal

What a beautiful pub/restaurant! The staff are friendly and welcoming, they have Peroni on tap, and the food is very special! Especially the long list of homemade icecreams. We recently booked a table for Easter, and they happily showed us a self contained room which would be safe for the children! They cared about the number of high chairs we'd need.

Fantastic restaurant pub. Fancy area and more relaxed bar-side area. Amazing food with flair and very friendly efficient staff. Starters and mains are good portion size and starter could be a light lunch. Manages to be welcoming, relaxed and feel special at the same time.

Wasn't sure it was open from looking outside. Went inside and was greeted by a nice open fire. Ordered lunch on a Thu and had the leek and potato soup, then a ham and chicken pie. My Mother had duck parfait fb the burger. Both meals were really good and all homemade, even the relish. Only reservation was the coffee ☕️ wasn't the best. All in all, would definitely come again.

Last minute visit as another pub had let us down even though we’d booked . The lovely lady found us a cosy table . Service was excellent and the quality of our dishes were superb . Highly recommended, and very thankful for a friendly welcoming service

A really nice little pub/restaurant that has a lovely ambience and a warm interior. The staff were very accommodating of myself and a number of other guests including 2 young children and a baby. The staff were very swift and efficient with their service and were more than happy to cater to any tailored requests from our party. The food was delicious, starting with a chicken satay which was divine with a beautifully made sauce following this, I chose a slow-cooked pork belly with a potato-gratin and creamed leeks which was equally as delicious; finally I finished my meal with a creme brûlée which was a generous portion and very tasty! Overall fantastic experience and would absolutely recommend!

Just took my wife on the back of our motorbike to this little pub tucked away behind Princes Risborough, we hadn't booked a table but the staff were very polite and friendly and we were soon enjoying a lovely roast dinner each.I had the lamb wifey had the beef,all homemade,very hot and tasty and the service was excellent.recommend booking to avoid being disappointed.thankyou Vanessa and jason

Hello, I am French and it has been over 30 years since I was at Pink Lily. At the time in the late 1980s and early 1990s Lacey-Green was twinned with the village of Hambye in France. Only wonderful memories with Laura, Tammy, Darren, Alistair, Susie.. etc... I add a photo of a drink that I kept as a souvenir. Do you still have these glasses?

The food was delicious but the manager hovering over us, taking our plates away before my friend has finished her meal was far from welcome. We were the last to leave at just after 9pm, not really ready to end our evening but felt we had overstayed our welcome! Very unfriendly!!

Went for lunch. Really friendly staff but slow even though the place was empty. Food good but not very hot.

We enjoyed our starters and interesting interior. We were supplied covers for our muddy shoes.

Excellent food, dining room was very light and airy.

Portion sizes of the starters were microscopic !

Wish I could give 0 stars. Went for a lunch with my daughter and friend and left very very upset. We arrived after making a booking several days prior requesting a high chair to be told that there may not be a high chair for my one year old, to then be given a high chair without straps. The manager then told my one year old to shhh and told me that she was upsetting the customers. My daughter was absolutely not causing a scene and was, for most of the time, laughing and happy, it’s hard enough taking children out and worrying what people think without being shamed by the awful unwelcoming manager. Would absolutely not recommend as a family restaurant and will never return. Have never been experienced anything like it.

The Food here was absolutely gorgeous & the staff were very friendly. The Pub is set in a nice Country environment. Definitely go there again.

Great Sunday lunch, nicely cooked beef, Yorkshire, many different veg. Beautiful present range of puddings. Atmosphere is still cosy country pub in the bar area, which is dog friendly, and there’s a light bright conservatory which is more restaurant vibe. Great service too.

Great food and very friendly service. Still retains the country pub feeling with log fires and a nice mix of diners and drinkers. I would strongly recommend.

Great place to refresh on a walk

Although the staff were friendly and service good I can honestly say that was the worst chicken roast dinner I have ever had.. first off it came out cold with no potatos and they were seriously poor, I could hardly cut through them...The chicken was completely over cooked and dry seasonal vegetables where so undercooked it was unreal. Not had any other dishes but that was really poor ..

Friendly cosy pub. Nice food. Burger was tasty and posset delicious.

On what was my second visit to this pub my roast dinner that looked delicious was spoilt as i spent more time shoeing flies off my plate and the food than i did eating it. The fies seemed to only be in the corner of the room where we were sitting. The waitress didn't even seem bothered when i told her and when asked if i could have the doors behind us opened to let them out she replied that the doors didn't open. I didn't even order a pudding as by that time there were more flies! Such a shame as we were all looking forward to spending a pleasant afternoon in a lovely pub as we had done previously.

I was ignored at the empty bar for a few minutes despite making eye contact with the three staff members behind the bar. One was reasonably occupied with the till, while the other two were discussing dinner cancellations. The priority should be customers present rather than potential customers, otherwise more customers will be lost. When I was eventually served, the staff member was polite.

Just love this lovely pub/restaurant Hadn't been for a few months but it's still consistently the best food and lovely friendly team Thank you can't wait to see you very soon now ☺️

Lovely pub- stopped during a day trip out for a pint & packet of nuts.. Nice couple of pods in the garden, and the chickens in the garden have yhe weirdest feathers ever..

Nice beer garden nice seating and chickens roaming about! It was quite pricey for food and drink. Lots of wasps!

Another great evening, fantastic choices of food very well delivered! We come about once a month or so - never been disappointed.

Great stop after climbing from either side of the hill

We had a really nice time and a lovely meal. The staff were very attentive and welcoming.

Really nice countryside English pub, good selection of drinks, nice interior, good size parking and a lovely outside area with roaming chickens that look real fluffy nd soft.

Stopped for lunch on a local walk. Unassuming pub nicer on the inside than out. Three cask ales on offer and the two sampled were in good condition and well served. Menu good and food very tasty. Seating on the terrace not particularly comfortable and one local punter at the bar spoiled the ambience with his potty mouth!

We decided to take our little granddaughter out for a pub lunch today. So glad we chose The Pink and Lily. Great family friendly pub, garden was lovely , especially the free range Bantams and their chicks and the childrens play area. We hadn't pre booked but was served exceptionally quickly - which was much appreciated when you have a hungry small child with you. Food was amazing, well presented and tasty. Very friendly and kind staff, we will certainly be returning soon.

Recommended by a friend, very nicely surprised. Great spot for lunch with friends, or dinner with that special someone. Very good selection of wines, lovely traditional and very well made food. Will be back.

Held mum's birthday party here in the garden room/restaurant, comfortably held 40 people, Shirley the owner is warm and helpful and the staff are fantastic too, really felt relaxed and accommodating, the chef is great, buffet food was amazing, can highly recommend, thanks so much for making my mum's birthday so special.

Fabulous food, friendly staff and funky chickens. The food is packed full of fresh ingredients and it's a great atmosphere including the quirky pub garden.

The most bland meal I have eaten for a long time. Pork schnitzel with veg and mash. Apart from that, the staff were friendly and the beer was good.

The chef is absolutely amazing and the food is wonderful. However, I am disappointed after our last visit as the front of house staff were very rude and unwelcoming to us. I had moved a table reservation back an hour 3 days prior to the booking, and received confirmation via email. When we arrived, we were aggressively accused of being late. Were were told we could be "squeezed in" but from then on were treated like an inconvenience. Even asking for cutlery (reasonable at a restaurant?) solicited an eye roll. I tried to apologise to the front of house lady when we left if case we had caused any inconvenience but again was coldly blamed for turning up "late". Everyone has bad days but I was deeply disappointed with the service.

A delightful little gem set serenely in the Chiltern Hills to welcome wayfarers and past patrons alike with good fare at reasonable cost served with a smile. A varied menu, good ales and wine complete the picture and I cannot wait to return. See you there !

Stumbled across The Pink and Lily on our drive home from being away. Although we turned up on a busy Sunday lunchtime the landlady was extremely accommodating and squeezed us in. Amazing service, amazing Sunday lunch would definitely go back even though we are not local. The young waitress and waiter that served us were extremely polite. Just an all round lovely country pub with great food and great service.
