The Pineapple Club in Birmingham

Came as part of a group so had a booked table slot. Had never heard of this place as it was booked by a friend but so pleased we came! Situated in the lovely Great Western Arcade, this lovely little venue has a long list of great cocktails, good atmosphere and pleasant staff. Started off with our table upstairs and then moved downstairs to a seat by the door which was great for people watching! Definitely recommend and would visit again.

Visited recently for a bottomless brunch, staff were friendly and the drinks were quite nice (not strong but more on the sweeter side) I enjoyed the drinks on the brunch. The brunch however isn’t amazing value for money, having to upgrade to cocktail and gin packages. The food wasn’t amazing we had chicken strips which weren’t flavourful, vegetable gyoza’s again seemed frozen not freshly made. Overall an okay experience I would just go back for drinks and not the food.

Amazing food and a very cool location!

We had a brunch hear and the food was 10/10! The atmosphere was great and the drinks were flowing. The place also looks very nice, with lovely decor. I will be going back

Came here with my mum and boyfriend got my 30th birthday. The cocktails and service was lush. Lovely little place and will definitely be returning.

Came for bottomless brunch at the pineapple club, we upgraded to the cocktails option and this included many extra drinks, you could still have prosecco on this option. the small plates option was perfect to share with friends as when drinking you don't always fancy a big meal

A nice setting but it was really cold and we had to sit in our coats. The toilets were absolutely freezing with no heat at all. The drinks were expensive and very small. Overall very disappointed as it didn't live up to the reviews.

This was a nice little surprise find! Forgotten it was there and was pleasantly surprised at nice it was... wasn't overrun with people, had an upstairs as well as downstairs... the cocktails support local causes and local businesses... staff are cool - AND they know how to keep the place warm! 😜🔥

Lovely food and great drinks. We attended bottomless brunch here and it’s probably my favourite brunch in the area. Most bars seem to neglect the food at bottomless brunch but not Pineapple Club! The portions were big, the variety of menu was decent and it was all very tasty! The cocktails here are lovely and they also have a large craft beer selection that can be chosen from the fridge.

An absolutely brilliant spot of exceptionally knowledgable and friendly staff, and some of the best cocktails I’ve had in ages. The new cocktail menu highlights some incredible independent brands and showcases the importance of diversity, as well as the sheer creativity of the bar team. We were lucky enough to also pop downstairs to Shibuya Underground – a second bar in the building with a cocktail tasting menu (what a concept!) centred around Japanese spirits. Can’t recommend both bars enough. Even whilst busy, the service was flawless, the staff kind and professional, and the drinks on point. Will certainly be coming back!

Cocktails were fab but it was so loud! Could barely hear each other over drinks. Plus we were offered seating downstairs but then told by a different member of staff that we weren't allowed to sit downstairs? and so were moved upstairs to where it was so loud. Why the miscommunication? If we'd known what it was like where we were actually going to be seated, we probably wouldn't have ordered.

Great friendly welcome. Relaxing atmosphere, lovely cocktail 🍹 choices. Aspall Draught Cider was very nice indeed. Highly recommended.

Cool place but overpriced for a thimble of fruit juice!

Had to change the time of the booking last minute so contacted through their website as they don’t have a phone and got an instant reply saying that they have changed it for me. When we arrived we were greeted with smiles and got a table under the neon sign which was lovely! The food was absolutely beautiful and so were the drinks, I had the pina colada and it was perfect! The staff we’re so friendly and I will for sure be back!

Came 2 nights in a row for quiet cocktails with a friend. They taste incredible & feel very original. Love how the staff support individual causes too as said on the menus. The Broke Artist Collective cocktail was my fave :)

You’re not allowed to look at the menu and then order also can’t look at the menu with drinks without getting kicked out??

A little tucked away cocktail bar within the Great Western Arcade for those who don't like the hustle and bustle of a mainstream cocktail bar. They do tapas style small plates too. All reasonably priced too. I would recommend.

Not worth the money! The bottomless brunch was very basic and had to pay extra for cocktails which should be included, we defo didn’t get our moneys worth as the waiters had no clue and were slow! They then had the cheek to ask us why we didn’t want to pay the service charge😂 Not the best birthday brunch I’ve had.

Excellent choice of drinks and a decent price. Server's were all excellent and there was a great atmosphere. Didn't try the food but I will return in future for the bottomless brunch!

My friends and I visited at 4.30 on a Friday afternoon . We sat enjoying the view from a window seat. We were served promptly and professionally throughout our visit by Ellie and her colleagues. The drinks were lovely. The background music ( rap) was somewhat too loud so I asked if it could be turned down a little and it was. Later they played more appropriate music for a cocktail bar. We will go back as we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

Minnie was an absolute DIAMOND. Give her a raise, a bev and a Saturday off! Looked after us so so well and we can say hands down the best brunch we have done in ages ✨

The Pineapple Club provided take-out food for our work meeting. Despite a large quantity of food and drink required, they got the order spot on, it tasted unreal and worked well to meet our needs of date and time collection. Popped in for a cocktail, lovely decor and vibe with green and pink velvets. Good drinks selection and great location in the Arcade.

Probably THE loudest bar I've ever been to

The music is a little loud but not too loud, so you can hear each other. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. There are different seats and tables (high and low). The staff is very kind, friendly and helpful. You would like to catch the happy hour discounts (tuesday to friday between 5 pm and 7 pm). I tried 3 different cocktails. They all met the description and my expectations. All of them were tasty and flavourful. The quality of the ingredients were very good. Overall a good experience. The pub is not the cheapest, but it's definitely worth the price and I definitely recommend it.

More and more I undercover about this place it's a love letter to 80s, growing up as a 90-00s youth. This place has a great deal of love and thought put into it, and it shows. I strongly suggest that people give this venue a go.

Fabulous cocktails and great service in a very nice venue but what has happened to the heating? We were absolutely freezing and had to put our coats back on! The staff did mention that there was no food today so perhaps this was connected? I started with a Negroni and then a London Calling which was citrussy and completely delicious. Would definitely visit again but perhaps in the summer! Having seen the response from the owner I do appreciate that listed building status restrictions are difficult to work around!! We were just a little surprised as we have been to other venues in the GWA and not experienced this. We hope you find a cost effective solution as we loved your cocktails!

Really enjoyed our lunch and cocktails today. Lovely atmosphere and decor. Only downside was that it was freezing and made the visit quite uncomfortable. Several people throughout the restaurant were sat in coats so bear this in mind if you’re visiting!

Really long wait for 1 drink - 30 mins. Also an old building so no heating, absolutely freezing! No electric heating to make customers comfortable, like sitting outside.

Wow what can I say....the best bottomless brunch I've had. Food was amazing and the variety was so good. The drinks were the best selection you could have asked for and not the cheap brands. Really disappointed with the cocktails after having being so impressed the last time. This time the Cereal Killer cocktail wasn't served the same, I'm presuming they had run out of granola so that element of the cocktail wasn't available. I don't believe that a cocktail...

Would definitely recommend. Great beer and cocktail choices, lovely decor inside and good service too. Only downside is a £1.50 “corkage charge “ to open a can of beer. Seemed very strange, and didn’t sit well. But will be back.

Lovely food and amazing cocktails!

Went for a friends birthday. We had the bottomless brunch and upgraded to the cocktail package. Very expensive for what it was. The cocktails were very sweet (yes that’s preference) and some were just awful in taste. The food was the biggest let down. It was flavourless, cold and really disappointing. I love supporting small businesses but I won’t be back.

Lovely little hideaway in the Great Western Arcade with a drink menu that should keep everyone happy. The craft beer selection in the fridge is very good!

What a lovely place, only popped in for a last beer before going home but was really impressed with the decor. But what made me smile the most was the ladies toilets! There was loads of toilet paper stacked by the wash area and in the cubicle on a holder, but also free sanitary products! Give yourselves a pat on the back. So great to see 👏🏻
