Food was served in a reasonable time. But didn't like bar member coming over to table when we're three quarters through our meal to remove condiments for another table without even asking. Bar staff didn't no what ciders they sold had to wait for another member of staff to explain what they sold .

Been to the pilot tonight for my wife's birthday... food was amazing the staff was fantastic from the moment we walked in. All I can say is if u haven't been in here before for food or drinks and amazing service you must definitely give it a try... thanks jenny and your amazing team. The food was very good. The TV was very loud. The fire escape door was open so could have been warmer inside. (I closed it and then people went to sit outside and left it open again). Perhaps a closer could be fitted on the door?

We visit the Pilot every Monday evening. We enjoy the weekly Quiz and always eat in this establishment. Last night our meal was exceptional, the food was lovely and best of all it was served 'hot'. The chef was Zoe so we want to thank her. All the bar staff are lovely too.

Had a great time, lovely atmosphere and music, food was lovely. Staff were very friendly and polite, had 40% off main on the app so that was great deal. 👍👍pub was clean.

An stunning steak cooked as requested. Staff are lovely here was very busy as had an event on . Wasn't so keen on eating in the bar area as could smell smoke from the smoking area. But this only free space

Myself and my partner went yesterday for some food, my partner had a curry which she said was delicious and I had the classic mixed grill, it was amazing, the steak was cooked to perfection. We will definitely be returning. Thank you.

Rubbish place, the table next to us, a man was selling stolen stuff to the person sitting there, how a pub owner can allow this, maybe they are part of this😡

Fab place with well priced tasty food. The food is always cooked fresh to order, fish and chips beat any local chippy and the fries and amazing. Thank you to Jenny and the team who do a great job. 100 per cent recommend this pub grub. Good food, good staff, good beer, winner winner!!!

Visited tonight with friends who use this pub regularly. We had two sirloin steaks and two combo meals which were great value for money. Service from staff was excellent. Thank you and we will definitely use this venue again.

just done 21 Wolverhampton locks we were totally knackered and only just made it to the pub before 9 pm. They served us with fantastic food -2 main meals for £11. The food was really good and inexpensive. Unfortunately no real ales, but Madrii & Peroni were okay. Staff were fantastic. Plus we watched the semi-final of the England match. Life is good for the Argi Bargies

We have past this pub a few times, never been inside, after dropping our grandchildren off with their dad we decided to pop in for a nice quiet meal.. I ordered steak sizzler, my husband ordered chicken tikka masala, when the food came I couldn't eat my steak it was just a mass of gristle, when I asked the lady behind the bar to come and see my steak, I must admit she admitted herself the steak was all gristle, she did offer me a gammon to replace the steak, but unfortunately I can't eat pork at all, I said I would just eat the fries and the onion which I wasn't charged for, didn't help that one of the barmaids children was shouting at the top of her voice we couldn't hear ourselves think... we won't be returning so disappointed.. The toilets were out of commission, there was a notice up saying cleaning in progress.. because we live a few miles away my husband had to use them..they weren't being cleaned they were totally flooded with no alternative... so very inconvenient..

It's just not my cup of tea. It's literally ok to pop to when needs must. However I am biased here..... I remember the old pilot.... when the bar was wood and dark. I'm an old pub guy

The drinks took a little while to come via the app, however i do find it a little rude that the staff came up to me and my friend saying you know you’re not allowed in here without an adult even though we had a car parked in the carpark area + id on us, in which they had to check. Could’ve been a bit more welcoming considering it felt like we were being spoken about.

We went to eat around 3:20 p.m., we placed the order, they brought us the water and the missing food, 1 hour and 10 minutes passed, without any waiter saying anything, and when we went to ask, they told us that we were late, 1 hour and 10 late with a few tables eating, as a note to improve, tell people that there is a delay when ordering, it is a great gesture in hospitality, if the food is late, also put something to snack on Order approx 15:25 arrival 16:40

Came in with my son for dinner, tried the new menu which was fantastic. Great value for money, had lovely service, will be coming back

Booked online through sizzling pubs for a Sunday lunch. They haven't done Sunday lunches for over a year. Very disappointed 😞. They couldn't even get table orders right. Toilets disgusting. Why don't they update the website. Won't be coming back.

Friendly bar staff, good priced food and big menu

Price was good, however that was reflected in the quality and selection of the food. Not a bad venue, but not the best either very average, decent price.

Went in this evening , arrived at about 19:50, ordered drinks and were served straight away. We then found out that the kitchen was closed, not the pub managers choice but the brewery. Could not believe it’s Saturday night before 8pm and no food available. What an absolutely ridiculous situation. We then had drinks to finish before we could move on somewhere we could eat. Brewery needs to reconsider this decision or they are going to loose money.

After 6months, I just pop inn with my family to eat breakfast. Its awesome!

We attended a wedding and reception here yesterday and the food was lovely and staff were so friendly to talk to. Everyone did an amazing job of looking after the guests and will deffo be coming in again

Absolutely fantastic Halloween party at the pilot 🎃👻🧛 fantastic atmosphere, so welcoming to families, children and grown ups both had an excellent time. Can't wait to celebrate Christmas here too 🎄🧑‍🎄🎉

Absolutely lovely place for meal with friends and will be back with the family too! The serving staff were very attentive and the manager was so welcoming. Food was delicious and was served in a timely manner. 5* already looking forward to returning!

Waited an hour for 3 meals I had chicken that was burnt. Over seasoned fajitas. Will not be returning.

We were looking for somewhere to eat as a family, I'd had a few emails over the children's six weeks holiday offering several discounts. I saw this pub as one of my local ones, all though passing it many times on the way to work I'd never been in before. Food - I didn't have any expectations at all, but I can honestly say the food a really good, so much so we'd visited again within the 6 weeks, and my partner separately with a friend. The portion sizes on the starters are much better than other pubs, I do find the adult meals portions to be a little small. Prices/discounts - we had some great prices and discounts while visiting and it was great value for money. Establishment - it's a decent size and a relatively good size outdoor space. I did like that they had a bit of music on for once, many pubs and establishments do not these days. The toilets need a bit of TLC and there were minimal to no hand wash when I went, which doesn't help for hygiene (not like alot of customers wash their hands anyway). But just a note to improve on. Also, children being kicked out at half 8? If I remember correctly, which is lsnt great. We left in the end and went somewhere else for that reason. Overall, we will return, good app rewards scheme, fair pricing and food atmosphere.

So we popped in after both being at work on a very hot Sunday..decided to take up the offer of 3 bottles of cider for £11 that was advertised clearly on a big poster outside..paid the nice barman which he accepted..sat outside and just poured my drink when the barman came out looking very embarrassed revealing that the offer we had chosen had stopped now and we had to pay full price for the 3..after a few choice words we paid up and said what a desperate place this was lol..pilot you ought to be ashamed and embarrassed to send a lad put for a couple of quid..no wonder the place was empty..never again

I went there yesterday for birthday meal with my family. On sitting at the table it felt like hadn't had a good clean for a while,the menu s were all sticky. The food came which should of been a steak sizzler I'm afraid my steaks sizzle had long left my plate ,and was full off gristle only could cut round edges. My grandson had the burger which had a very stale bap all very disappointing We went out side for a drink after food and what a dirty garden,litter everywhere, Glasses on tables like been there from night before as garden was empty. I'm sorry this pub needs a good deep clean, and tidy up. There seemed to be enough staff standing around to do the job

Had 2 sirloin steaks for me and my wife but was full of grissel the chips were about 35mm long and the pepper corn sauce was watery so I won't be back

We visited here on a quiet weeknight and found the service to be extremely slow. We waited a while for food and when it was bought found the chicken to be undercooked and the chips and potatoes to have been cold and felt like they had been sitting there a while. I would definately be reluctant to visit again, even with the generally positive reviews that others have posted.

We had decided to eat in the pilot , and we wasn't wrong starters and main meal was cooked to perfection the staff behind the bar and serving was outstanding!! Friendly and attentive I couldn't ask for more Well done we will be back !!!

The Pilot public house was very very busy Busier than normal due to a main Darts competition being held 10 minutes walk away, The Steward of the pub was fully aware of this event However there were no where near enough staff available to cope I was starving of Hunger and wanted to order food To which I was told that no food was available at the present time as they were to busy, The staff that they did have were friendly and pleasant However poor planning and staffing numbers far to low, I spoke with a local. Person who said this happens everytime the Darts competition is on And they never learn the lessen to add more staff Poor desicions being made.

Family and children orientated pub..bit worn around the edges but to be expected..staff were friendly enough..the food was delicious..scampi and chips..not a huge portion..but again to be expected..22 minutes from order to table..and nice enough but luke warm..except peas ..they were cold..had to ask how much longer.(.got told waiting on fresh chips.).as it was delivered to table..
