We visited the Gatehouse regularly and it’s always Fantastic service I do order on the app and it’s always quick service the staff,are great and also the food ,is very nice it’s a clean,pub ,very welcoming,class service, we will be visiting again Carl & Christine

Went for a little date with my partner. Service was incredible, food smelt and tasted amazing. Everyone was happy. Would definitely recommend and will 100% be going back

Quick service. Plenty of choice on the menu and the chips were a joy. Family friendly and something for everybody to choose. Affordable with a pleasant atmosphere. Have an ice cream doughnut if you dare. Delicious and bigger than you imagined.

The disabled toilet was out of order. I came out the gents to hear two female staff talking to each other. One was saying how a customer had asked when the disabled toilet would be fixed, and she had told him it would be when the workman came because it had been reported. By the way they were talking I could tell the customer had been spoken to harshly. What a way to speak to a customer. What a way to gossip in front of other customers. It displays absolute contempt for customers.

Came with business client had the beyond burger. Hands down best burger either of us ever had. already pre-booked a table for next week .

Fantastic food as always ordered steak cooked to perfection good quality food highly recommended for others. Staff helpful and very pleasant

Me and my husband went on a date night I asked for my steak medium rare which to my surprise it came out bleeding the plate was drowned in blood and the chips and onion rings wer also soggy I was going to approach the manager but the attitude that I recieved when buying my drinks I thought it was best not to she slammed them on the bar which made them spill over the cocktails had not been shaken or stirred the alcohol was sat at the bottom of the glass with the juices floating I asked for Budweiser she gave me budar and says it’s exactly the same but different bottle which on opening it wasn’t so ended up throwing it away because my husband didn’t like all in all very disappointed with my experience

We always visit here and always leave a review as we want others to know how good it is here, we don’t get out much but when we do we visit the team are so great with us and the food is always lovely and hot fully recommend

Had a great time at this place last night, good food and great staff. Waiting time was short and very pleasant welcome. Food was hot and our meal delivered at the same time.

This place never disappoints, loz and the team are great and go above and beyond on every visit. All team are happy and take care of all customers, no matter how big or small. The deals on food and drinks are really good, this is my favourite restaurant trying it for the villa game tonight as I haven’t sat bar side yet, got good expectations as you can get money off drinks with their app

Brilliant service, warm friendly family atmosphere. Great food, good reasonable prices for both food and drink. Plenty of choice. All good fresh cooked produce. Plenty of parking. Plenty of seating for large parties or family dining split between 2 areas and a separate bar/main pub area where you can also eat and watch the sport. Really nice place to visit. Highly recommend

I have never had a bad meal here but tonight was such a disappointment.. ordered 8oz rump cooked medium, the steak that was served to me was still mooing on my plate.. sent it back and after 10 minutes the same steak was brought out disguised as a lump of charcoal.. I accepted it because I was starving and my partner had nearly finished his meal and we intended to eat together.. we mentioned it to staff and I was given a free desert but my partner was told to order and pay for his on the app and they would be served at the same time.. let's hope it was one off.. totally disappointed 😞

Lovely, well cooked food wonderful atmosphere, staff members Tracey and mandy very helpful and polite even though rushed off there feet working there areas alone nothing is a hassle even keeping the kids happy, thank you

TVs were very loud couldn't hear our selves talk staff told us on arrival they close at 11 which we were aware of it was 10pm no need to tell us we only popped in for one on our way home from a lovely meal out

Went here for lunch out with a friend and we ordered a range of starters, sides and mains as pictured. The food arrived quickly, and was hot. All the food was extremely tasty, and was enjoyed by us both. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

We have just got home after a very disappointing meal in the gatehouse Wolverhampton husbands gammon no problem but my steak sizzeler and my nieces were terrible tought as old boots she had hers cooked rare mine was medium and it was so bad we wrapped them up to bring home to the dog veg on the sizzeler was luke warm frys were the same this is about the third time we have had problems with the meals when we complained the staff member said I will tell the chef well it goes without saying we will be giving the gatehouse a miss in future 🤮😠😠

We come to the Gatehouse before Christmas for our 2 companies Christmas get together and what a wonderful night we had! we was a little late due to work and they gave our table away (completely acceptable we was at fault for still being at work) we said we just sit in bar and just have a few drinks and would eat anywhere we was not fussy as we was at fault but one of the Bar Staff Chelsea who was so friendly lovely went above and beyond to find us a table when one was free. Her Customer Service and bar skills was just excellent to every customer and she’s certainly a asset to your team! Our Food we had burgers and Steak the Steak was just cooked to perfection was just beautiful and was so impressed compliments to the chef i believe her name maybe Shan - we had a great start to our night and everything was just fabulous - Thanks to your amazing members of staff

Great food and friendly service

Normally are her before match days however today was a family meal. Easy to book a table (online). Service was great. Ordered food at bar and asked for the childrens meals to be brought out with the adults starters this was not a problem (Great that the young man asked if any of us had allergies) Food was great both childrens and adults meals with dessert. Ordered drinks through the app brought quickly to the table. Great service all round, from the young man who was serving at the bar to the ladies who served us our food.

Attended Christmas Eve prior to going the football match and saw the breakfast with Santa happening. Was absolutely magical! Amazing food, staff and atmosphere. Will 100% be returning especially next year with nephews and nieces!

We had our Christmas Day lunch at the Gatehouse and went in with low expectations but left completely impressed. Staff friendly and welcoming with prompt service. Food was very good and we're completely converted to having Christmas Dinner out. Would highly recommend.

I visited the pub today to celebrate my friend's birthday, but unfortunately, our experience took a turn for the worse. While the mixed-up order was a minor inconvenience, the unacceptable behavior of the barman was beyond disappointing. After a considerable wait, we finally got the barman's attention for our order. However, when we asked about the crisps that were part of our order, he not only ignored us but also threw them at us when prompted. This level of disrespect and unprofessionalism was completely uncalled for and marred what should have been a pleasant celebration. The truly distressing part is that our concerns fell on deaf ears when brought to the manager's attention. Not only was our complaint dismissed, but we were also denied a refund when we said we're leaving. This level of customer mistreatment is utterly unforgivable. This review serves as a cautionary tale for those considering a visit to Gatehouse. The lack of basic courtesy and the complete disregard for customer satisfaction make this establishment one to avoid at all costs.

Came to the gatehouse today with my friends for a spot of dinner. Service was lovely from Chelsea, Ash and Tish. Would recommend coming to this place, will be returning again.

Came in for a quick lunch and really pleasantly surprised. Took up one of the offers on the menu for 2 pub classics for £11.49 (Mon-Fri) and the food was fab. We had lasagne and fish & chips, the portion sizes were good and tasted fab. Service was really quick and friendly. Definitely be returning.

Popped in at 3pm today Thursday 2-11 Sat at table 16 x4 of us took advantage of free starter deal corn starter was amazing. Crispy chicken sandwich was HUGE Special new yorker was great too. Ample seating too lovely meal team were great too thank you all.
