This was my favorite cafe in Camberwell. So cozy and a nice warm vibe. Not very hipster or industrial like so many other new cafes now. You are missed.

Weak milky coffee which I did not expect after reading reviews. Breakfast menu ok but a bit pretentious and trendy. Just don't expect traditional menu items.

Went here with a couple of friends in the summer and sat in the cute garden out the back. Coffee was great, as was the cake. The service was really lovely and homely without being forced or twee.

Friendly and reasonably priced brunch spot on a quiet pedestrianised road. We ate baked spicey beans (which were phenomenal) and baked eggs with tomato sauce and seasonal greens (underbaked but quickly rectified by polite staff). Service was very slow but nice atmosphere, good music and coffee was more than sufficient to pass the time! Would definitely return.

Camberwell could really do with a decent, reasonably priced cafe that doesn't try too hard to be cool and relaxed. This isn't it.

Its becoming a regular venue for my weekend brunch cravings. The tastiest smokey beans with baked eggs and bacon!!! A delicious selection of cakes and great coffee! Oh and they stock the local beer ORBIT. I don't know what else i would add to improve it!

The baked tomatoes was more of a tomato soup made with passata and topped with an undercooked egg at the cost of £7.50. I politely mentioned it wasn't great and was told it was their 'best seller' and they always get positive feedback about it, I don't think I'll be back to try anything else if that's the case. The standard for food in the area is really high so I hope for their sake it improves. Taking on board customer feedback with a bit more grace would be a good place to start.

This cafe is such a cute little place. Came here for brunch. Had the scrambled eggs with salmon-delicious! Very tasty. Staff were all extremely friendly and attentive. Nice atmosphere and loved the decor. Prices aren't bad for Camberwell either-though I perhaps would have liked an extra piece of toast! All in all, highly recommend!

The bacon sarnie was to die for, with the nicest of bread and good coffee. Service was friendly, great environment - sat in tiny sunny enclosed court yard ( court yard is an exaggeration but nice anyway) couldn't have asked for more.

Yes the Pigeon Hole may seem a bit vetuste and maybe it is run by a young crowd but I love the place. You sit down on old chairs and tables while a smiling young lady greats you. You watch the lads in the kitchen get their act together and you enjoy the vibes of this laid back cafe. Great Granola. My Eggs with soldiers were delicious and even better when topped with marmite. Excellent coffee. Outside tables compliment the inside. This is NOT your upmarket teahouse but a pigeon hole with very happy pigeons as patrons. Will be back

Its an odd little cafe in an almost easily missed location. But the rustic decor and excellent service are complimented by the consistently delicious entrees and puddings.

I echo another reviewer where had a Kernel IPA, which definitely tasted dodgy but the server didn’t offer a replacement or feel anything was wrong with it! Otherwise seems like a nice spot but perhaps maintenance for their many craft beers isn’t diligent?
