Great cup of tea. In pleasant cafe near Falmouth Ferry pier. Very friendly staff, and particular mention for Flo who was most helpful. Recommended.

Whilst visiting the area popped in on a rainy Sunday morning - was very busy & received a very friendly welcome. Just a couple of coffees for us which came, again with a really friendly service. We even got a bourbon biscuit with our drinks on the house ! Wet or dry, cold or sunny, I’d expect this place to be busy with good service all year.

Warm welcome, great location, lovely food. The pancakes were lush! Will definitely visit when next in the area. Throughly recommend

Having taken my elderly uncle to enjoy the simple, yet delicious food, I returned with my partner a few days later to a very warm welcome, but with the unfortunate news of my uncles sudden death. Meg in particular, remembered my uncle and could not have been more accomodating & kind. Yet again, we enjoyed delicious food & drink, served by friendly, polite waitresses. I can not recommend this very efficient & friendly cafe highly enough. Being in ‘the game’, I recognise a 5* place when I have the pleasure of visiting one. Excellent in every way.

Cosy good value for money crab sandwichescafe with indoor and pierside seating. The crab sandwiches with side salad were tasty and good value for money. Excellent local beer.

I visited the Pier Cafe for lunch with my family. The staff at the cafe were extremely welcoming. The menu has lots of tempting options. All our meals were presented beautifully and were absolutely delicious. A special mention for the crab sandwich, the crab was so delicious, as it’s obviously so fresh from the sea, a must try !!! We returned later in the day for an Aperol Spritz and ice cream and enjoyed the sun on an outside table with the fantastic harbour views. If you are visiting Falmouth I would highly recommend a visit to this Cafe.

My wife and I popped in for a pot of tea, beer and crab sandwich…. Sat outside overlooking the harbour watching the world go by… lovely sandwich and chips and very pleasant. Girls serving were very friendly and really cannot fault if you want to waste an hour watching the harbour

We visited Falmouth today, sunshine and blue skies. We had lunch at pier cafe, food and view was sensational. Staff were brilliant. Falmouth at its best and a wonderful setting to have lunch overlooking the river Fal.

Lovely cafe - popped in for a takeaway latte whilst waiting for a ferry to St Mawes to watch husband and friends come in after swimming Castle 2 Castle. Thought the bourbon biscuit with the takeaway coffee was a really lovely touch!

Very dog friendly (we have a Newfoundland, which was no trouble at all) and excellent food. Staff were wonderful - can’t recommend them enough.

Went for a Mother’s Day breakfast. Food was ok but thought staff a bit abrupt and rude at times. We, and others, were met at the door by a member of staff who barked at us”have you booked?” Which we had. As a family of 5 we were squashed into a corner table that the chairs didn’t fit round properly

Fantastic speedy service. Breakfast sandwiches were lovely with nice thick bacon. Cream tea and added an extra scone which made it great value! Fresh scones with plenty of jam and cream! Lots of variety but opted for the plain scones. Good quality coffee and 10/10 overall! Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.

We visited with friends for the Sunday Roast lunch after seeing it on Facebook. We had to wait about 30 minutes for the meal to arrive which looked lovely - roast beef, yorkshire pudding with a good selection of vegetables. Unfortunately all of it was cold. It was replaced but again the food was cold. At this point we decided that we wouldn’t risk waiting for it to be recooked as it was almost an hour since we had ordered so ordered a sandwich instead. The staff offered us complementary drinks - the coffee was very good. Very disappointed as the food looked delicious but was too cold to eat.

Fabulous Sunday lunch! Melt in your mouth, seven hour slow cooked lamb with mint sauce and all the trimmings! Monstrous Yorkshire pudding, crispy roasties, and lovely selection of winter veg, carrots, honey roasted parsnip, tender stem broccoli and mouth watering cauli cheese. Warm cosy environment with super friendly staff who offered more of whatever we wanted as the meal was presented. We will be back, in particular to sample your legendary sticky toffee pudding!

Lovely lunch and wine but at £17.95 and £8.50per glass is at the very top end for prices. Service was good but took some time to have drinks served.

Am Eingang steht eine Tafel mit Hinweis auf die Prämierung für den Kaffee. Diese Auszeichnung ist mehr als verdient; hier haben wir den besten Cappuccino der ganzen Reise getrunken! Dazu noch das Krabbensandwich und man fühlt sich wunderbar. Die Mädels nehmen ihren Job ernst und sind sehr bemüht jede Frage kompetent zu beantworten und flitzen durch die Tische um alles sauber und gepflegt zu halten.

Took a trip out today to Falmouth, from Hayle. Wandered the shopping street, weighing up where to stop for a bite to eat, & we decided to walk back to The Pier. Had a lovely lunch sat out on the terrace overlooking the harbour. Will definitely call by again when we come back to Falmouth.

I was in Falmouth today (a Sunday), and fancied a nice slice of cake and a pot of tea. After going into a couple of establishments whose fayre looked as it it wasn’t exactly box fresh, I saw a sign for the Pier Cafe. Walking past the open kitchen door I saw an electric mixer with a batter covered hook so thought this is the place for me! I ordered a slice of the lemon and poppyseed cake, and a pot of tea. It was a beautiful day so chose to sit waterside. Lovely view over the to water to the docks, and the comings and goings on the Prince of Wales pier. The cake was delicious, and one of the best pots of tea ever, not the usual weak pale offerings. I drank all 3 cups! Ansum. Fantastic find, will definitely be going back.

This is our favourite coffee shop in Falmouth. Seating both inside and out and on a nice day, deck chairs on the pier. Although we called in for coffee and cake, which were fresh and delicious, meals are also served. Customers next to us had Ham Egg & Chips and a Crab Sandwich & Chips, bath looked wonderful.

Lovely service and really good quality local produce used to create brilliant dishes. This cafe won an award last year and should definitely win again this year. Food, service and wine all very good.

Visited for lunch, great service. The order was slightly delayed (due to a mixup with orders) but definitely not detrimental to our visit. My husband had the mackerel which was divine, the kids had mussels (again, huge thumbs up!) and I had the pesto & roast vegetable toastie with chips… the whole lunch was stunning, so tasty. The staff were very polite & super attentive. Would highly recommend to any foodie looking for exceptional food!

We had made our way down to Falmouth for the day and headed to your cafe as the rating was 4+. After ordering our drinks and some lunch we was told there would be a wait but not 45min later. We only ordered 2 coffees and a toasty each. When they come out the drinks were ok and not very warm and the food was cold and average nothing amazing.

Stopped in for lunch and highly recommend the Breaded baked brie with a red currant chutney & mackerel pate, bread, olives and salad mini mezze board. There was a 30-40 minute wait which we were told before ordering but not in a hurry (and dodging the showers) so happy to wait and was worth it. Was also pleased that for first time in restaurant/cafe experience the drinks came close to the food, rather than after ordering and needing to order more again for meal. The mocha was great too - I would definitely stop in again when next in Falmouth.

Had brunch here a few times and its always great, staff are always really friendly and the food is good value for money. Pancakes and the veggie breakfast in particular are always really good. Also fully appreciate that coffees always come with a little biscuit. Love the outdoor seating area which is such a good suntrap. Such a hidden gem of a place.

Very disappointed in our lunch today,compared to previous visit . Found a table outside but had to move because of the very strong smell of urine from the public toilets next door ( guess that's why there were a few tables free outside on a busy ,sunny day ) Unfortunately the smell was also in the front part of restaurant. I had a toastie with chips & salad garnish. The bread was cheap and thin ( supermarket basic , I'm guessing) and the chips were skinny fries and were really dry and hard to swallow, my partner thought the same with the chips . Basically a waste of £23 . Unfortunately will not return. Think you need a word with the council about smell from the toilets

We arrived at 15.35 and the person serving advised that they closed at 16.00. We were not pressured or made to feel unwelcome, quite the opposite, our food order was taken and arrived very quickly and it was absolutely delicious, we saw others arrive and were shown the same caring service. The young waiter acknowledged everyone and made sure we were looked after. Definitely a place to revisit, thank you.

Lovely view and seating area on the pier in falmouth. Delicious cakes and lots to choose from. I reccomend the scones jam and cream. There is a good choice on the menu. Have always walked past here but never went in but was surprised how much better it was on the inside. Glad we went as we will visit again.

Lived in Fal for two years now and The Pier Cafe has become one of my favourite spots. The staff are always friendly, great views of the harbour and it has a warm and relaxing environment. Really like the one way take-away system they currently have and the available hand sanitiser. I've only tried the oat hot chocolate and the rotation of homemade cakes they have, but like both too much to stray away!

Had crab sandwich and cheese sandwich with chips which were very welcome but due to its location was unable to relax as the seagulls kept an eye on our food.My husband found eating the food out of a box problematically as he struggles holding the boxes and using the wooden knives and forks.
