Waitress got my order totally wrong.then they forgot peppercorn sauce.the rump steak was tough & gristly asked for medium rare got rare. Will not be going back

Right let's be honest right from the start, this is weatherspoons, it's not a 5-star restaurant. You get what you pay for. So food and a pint for £7 isn't going to get a food review. However....... Was the food hot, YES Was it fast, YES Was it tasty, YES Was there plenty, YES It wasn't what I'd expect from a restaurant, I didn't go "Wow that was amazing" but for a quick pub meal, it was OK. Now here is the big problem with the one I went to, the amount of unemployed that just sit in there all day taking up most of the seats and drinking 1 pint an hour. It's almost like their own personal social club. This has nothing to do with the pub, unfortunately, it's the area it's in. The noise from them shouting to each other cos they can't be bothered to walk to a different table does get on your nerves a bit. However, we found a table at the far end and it was much quieter. Stayed about 2 to 3 hours, and had a fair few pints and food. Would I go back......YES I knew what to expect, and I got what I expected. On a different note, the toilets in Weatherspoons are probably the cleanest toilets of any pub iv been to. They are spotless. A real credit to the staff.

Cracking Full English Breakfast

Really busy even in the weekday's morning, inside looks nice and kinda clean. just the coffee machine wasn't working that day, me and my friend had to wait for someone to fix it. but food were ordered was okay

Get what you pay for, can't beat a spoons breakfast

Usually the meals are okay here. However last time i visited on curry night I found little shreds of blue plastic mixed in with the curry, along with cold naan breads.

Very reasonably priced. Decent weatherspoons. Friendly staff.

Just ordered pornstar martinis to arrive looking like a child's meal drink with slices of orange. No prosecco accompanying it. Asked and told they don't do prosecco so made up with lemonade. What comparison is that!? Cocktails pre made crap. Lesson learnt never order anything more sophisticated than a beer in sutton spoons.

Ordered a steak from there, came out with no steak knife after eating some of it, took it back, and was told i would get a refund 2 weeks. Still no refund, absolutely rubbish

Sunday lunch The beef was very good, but the veg and gravy let this meal down. The roast potatoes were very small, carrots peas and broccoli all over cooked. A few changes and this could have been a very good lunch.

Quite busy when we visited for breakfast, food was good, tables cleared away quickly.

The toilets were lovely & clean, smelled very nice too.

Very decent, priced well but should be more vegan options for desserts. There's only fruit, which isn't very exciting

The place inside is a little worn and would benefit from a refurb, the food is cheap and cheerful, but also is cooked well tasty and at a low price just let me any other wetherspoon pub the atmosphere is ok but can get a little loud, depending on what day you're there

It was exstreemly loud and not great for my autism, but the stressed waiters did an amazing job and the food was impeccable. Would go again.

Pleasant place with a varied crowd coming and going about there business. Limited choice of beers but the staff do there best..Things are improving. Times are a changing but are they better, litter the place with tables and chairs so no one can move about. Does not increase customer attendance. Waiting at the bar is getting very poor no staff. Yet we proceed with more tables and chairs, Sadly less customers in the evening. Things are going well Friday evening's getting back to busy. 2nd November 2022 sad day price of beer goes up 10pence a pint. Not so busy just before Christmas but expected. They changed most of the staff, thank god. New Year, new staff and different management. Price drop on beer, which is good news. Also the price has also dropped on food too. The day's of cheap breakfast disappeared faster than the dinosaur. Beer prices also adjusted Aug. October 2023 £1.77 per pint. Most other beers £2.25 pt. New year, new prices staff changes, moveing on. New year, it seems new tech services mobile customers. How ever orders at the bar one member of staff serving all customers. Long breaks between orders. Sigh

Food quality isn’t very good . But all the other spoons have better tasting quality off food . For some reason the food is always cold .

Very good value for money. 4.18 for a traditional breakfast and refill coffee/tea. The place is large and has plenty of tables. There are other meals that are also good value and include a soft or alcoholic drink.

The food was lovely there was 6 of us including 2 little children....it was typical wetherspoons food but it was really really nice and the staff were lovely 😍

Our local wetherspoons which is better than most... No need for oxygen for toilets as everything is on ground floor...

Great Spoons, been twice now and both times the food was excellent. You can park just behind in Asda car park, 2 hours is allowed.

Nice bar better than the bar in Mansfield weatherspoons. Has a better selection of craft beer.

Absolutely terrible service from the staff, they were rude, inconsiderate and did not want to help answer any of my questions. There was a lady who wears a yellow lanyard and the lady manager with a camera on was just stood talking whilst there was one staff member serving a bar full of customers. There is no structure to this pub because the management that is running it cares more about talking than serving a customer. I will not be coming back and I hope this puts people off spending their money there because they don’t deserve it

Another one with good ale but please can I ask you to place the cask mark certificate on customers side of bar..customers really shouldn't be having to keep asking permission..too many times I see this in bars..they should be at POS

Breakfast included undercooked bacon, toast barely toasted, cold beans on a cold plate and a warmed up sausage. A poor offering - no check back so we grudgingly ate some of it. Complained to Supervisor who collected are plates, she mentioned it to the Duty Manager who looked at us and turned away. Obviously we won't be going back for a below average breakfast and very poor customer service - such a shame as they had the opportunity to put things right but did not!

I had a spoons breakfast was what I expected was not the best I've ever had but very good value for money so I would go again when and if I'm in the area

Service is good if your served by Brandon, he's the only polite one there. If he leaves it's not worth going in. Food is average, prices are good

Went in the pub for a drink and was told we couldn't park in the carpark as it was staff only but been in previously and was told yes we can park in the carpark..the duty manager made a big issue out of this.. we felt very uncomfortable by this experience won't be going back there didn't even stop for a drink...

Argumentative staff unpleasant evening

Food is nice...some of the staff are ok others need a rocket up their a**. Atmosphere is dull and decor......well it's a bit like being in a funeral directors...dark & depressing. Other than that it's great, cheap & cheerful

Not great.. Staff not very Attentive unless you in there Everyday on the hour of opening... Dissatisfied disappointed, expectations not met sadly.

For the last three occasions I have eaten here, the experience has not been good. Today, it being a Thursday, we chose curry, and it was appalling. The chicken was dry, the rice was stodgy and the poppadoms overcooked. I won't be back.

So cheap. Food is of a high quality for the price. Serves food until 11 and has a very large selection of draft beers and ales.

Myself and my partner go to this Witherspoons quite regularly It's competitively priced, the staff are usually very friendly and we enjoy it that's why we keep going back
