Atlantis in Ashfield

I’m not one to leave reviews but fuming isn't even the word! Myself and my partner ordered through Uber eats over an hour before it arrived. Once arrived the fish and fritter were undercooked while the chips ordered separately were overcooked and far from fresh, the chips that were supposed to come with the fish, which were advertised on Uber eats, never came. Nothing that came was warm. The woman that answered the phone was also useless as she spoke over me as soon as I said the postcode and wouldn’t listen to a word I said. Won’t be ordering from here again.

The best Greek food around that’s for sure but Problem is with delivery time .

As a Greek, the quality was absolutely incredible, just as good as in Greece, friendly staff highly recommended

If they're actually Greek they should be ashamed! The souvlaki was not souvlaki, it was kofta, if I wanted kofta I would of ordered Turkish.. The kebab meat tasted of rubber and they had lettuce in there. no greek kebab has lettuce.

Cant fault this place at all! , food is always on time or early than the time expected. Gyros are delicious and packed aswell!. Chicken caesar salad is delicious aswell and get plenty too and proper fresh! ☆☆☆☆☆

Just been for a gyros meal,and I got given all the rubbish pieces of meat,looks like the outside bits that should go in the bin,no joke when you pay £12 basically all I can actually eat are chips and salad, absolutely disgusting 🫣

I bought a large fish, but I think fish was malnourished. Taste was not good. I'll never go back

This was our first time ordering from here but it certainly won’t be our last! The food was extremely good and the service we received was brilliant. This will definitely be a new favourite of ours, especially at the very good price it is!

Atlantis do a really nice Gyros ,chicken and lamb mixed is our favourite, Well worth a try 😋.

Don’t usually bother with reviews but Decided to give a second chance after a terrible visit about a year ago, Regrets. Grim food. Halloumi fries are pathetic and pure rubber not bad for a Greek chippy 🤣 chips small and brown. Barely any cheese and bad quality, doesn’t melt. Large condiments barely cover chips. Both times I’ve ordered been told foods ready before estimated time just to go and wait in shop 15 mins… only positive the battered sausage wasn’t bad 🤣 so many better chippys around to spend ya hard earned cash at x

Spent £46 on chippy tea and got stale bread and lunchtimes(old) chips on the gyros. It’s Usually really nice from here but my advice would be not to order before they open so you don’t get lunchtimes refried stuff. Won’t be ordering again 🙃

Normally brilliant but tonight for the first time ever, they put vinegar on the chips??!! Ruined it for me as I hate vinegar.

Ordered the special mixed grill hardly any chicken kebab what a shame as the food was nice but disappointed loads of chips though when you order the mix grill you order for the meat honestly this is a genuine review but come on guys.I’m leaving this for feedback only would Order again hopefully next time the meat would be as expected

Ridiculous service, food was delayed, but even that was not enough as was late with nearly an hour. However, driver marked it as delivered when it was not. Food was burned. Disappointed

We have ordered from here before and the food is normally 10/ 10. However, this time, the yogurt based sauce has ruined our Greek giros as none of us enjoyed the taste of it. When we have ordered in the past, we never had this on it. For future reference, I would prefer a choice as to whether or not I want that yogurt based sauce on my food.

Amazing fish! 10/10 driver was running late, no major problem, call the restaurant spoke to someone, very apologetic and sent a free bottle of drink to apologise. Would use again for sure!

Every time I go into this chip shop, the elder woman (blonde/grey hair with roots) is HORRIBLE to her staff. The young girl who is always in the back looks so exhausted and overworked all the time, CONSTANTLY getting abused by the elder woman. I hope to god that young girl gets a new job, she is the kindest soul and deserves much more.

Food is was awful. Cold with no sauce even though i requested it. Over an hour late and had called to chase order several times. Will never order from here again.

Beautiful meat, not dry like other places. Big potion sizes for the price paid.

Really bad experience tonight. Food arrived late and was stone cold when we opened it. Kebabs which were mixed kebabs had about 2/3 pieces of chicken and the rest donner. Really unhappy with this order.

Just made an order on uber eat to be waiting 1 hour and 30 to have food that was missing and cold I had fish and chip and the fish was very hard and tased like it had been in the holding bay all day very disappointed as called the place and was not we can't do any thing with the miss orders

Ordered a meal and the delivery was over an hour late despite two phone calls to chase up. When order arrived missing things and no free garlic bread as advertised as order over £20. Food was cold when we got it and had to be warmed up. Won't be using again

I booked this hours in advance and it was still late. I paid £7 for A FISH WITH NO CHIPS. You'd think a courtesy call would have been in order to make sure that's what I wanted when I selected a Salt & Vinegar option from the FISH AND CHIPS MENU.

Banging gyros am ordering tonight

We paid over £40 for a takeaway this evening and not only was our order 35 minutes late, it was cold😡 We knew about the initial delay as we had a message informing us it would arrive at 19.10. When our order still hadn’t arrived by 19.24, we phoned Atlantis only to be told that they were waiting for a driver to arrive and that they were busy…..excuses!! In my book, if you cannot keep up with demand and cannot provide the service you promise, then don’t participate and sending us a bottle of Tango doesn’t make up for the fact that we’ve been let down and just wasted money!!!

Stone cold!! Even tho it arrived early!! If I wasn’t so hungry I would’ve rang up to complain! Very disappointed!! Threw half away! Never again!

Such good value for money I don't usually leave reviews but this restaurant definitely deserves a good review!

Disappointing gyros after receiving a good recommendation. No sauce - was requested on both. Not enough chips and mixed meat ratio was 90/10. Wish I’d spent my tenner elsewhere. Sorry.
