Mcdonald's Restaurants in Ashfield

Bought two large meals and when I got home I realised they never gave me any fries - literally no way of getting my money back apart from making all the way back to the restaurant again, so that sucks

Went here after a bad experience at the South Normanton McDonald’s and the food was fast with great service. Can’t go wrong with a cheeseburger and a McFlurry. Best Maccies in the area.

Best McDonald's around better than the somercotes one rather travel to Sutton for some hot fast food

Ordered a sausage and egg mcmuffin with an extra patty, and a bacon roll with ketchup. The muffin came without the extra sausage which we'd paid for, and the bacon roll came with brown sauce instead of ketchup. It also took ages for them to bring our order out.

Great food but lost its happy atmosphere

Got the wrong order. No dips. Wrong drinks. Wrong burger toppings. Absolutely sucks

Used to be the best Mcdonald's, the food isn't great. Chips are usually stale and unsalted, nuggets are dry... I know it's only fast food, but even a franchise like this makes the money to invest in training. I don't expect the best service at Mcdonald's, but I expect good tasting, hot food (especially with today's prices!).

I had a frustrated woman deliver tonight she clearly had a problem with something and the food was cold AGAIN !

one day they will get an order right, how hard is it to read the TV and make sure u pack the food correct,..

Absolutely disgusting with the amount of fries we got for a large meal you need to sack your staff the price we pay for so little it's a wonder you stay open

Always excellent food at reasonable prices, always use the drive thru, waiting times are reasonable, never had to wait long enough that I regretted the transaction.

Multiple items missing from McDelivery order again, always a struggle to get money back through courier and McDonald's. Will not use the service again and will avoid this McDonald's as this happens every time.

Within the 3 separated times I’ve come here, I ordered the 9 chicken selects. But within those 3 times, I got the 9 nuggets. Even on one visit I gotten attitude from a worker I didn’t get the name of. Only one time was it sorted out in a calm and professional manner the other times it was either delivery or I had attitude when I brought up the problem. This needs to be sorted as both have a significant difference in price.

As is the norm with McDs you get hot fries or just warm fries. My order this time was the latter 😕

Had an order for delivery and once again there is food/drink missing. Someone seems to have forgotten to put my child's milkshake in the drinks bag which is a great feat to achieve considering it was part of a happy meal and sort of essential to the happy part of the meal.(sad child) Rang this 'fine' establishment to be told to ring the delivery company as its their fault that a member of staff of McDonalds failed to put a drink in the bag, which last time I checked the driver just moves the order from A to B, in sealed bags, so it could not have been lost in transit. And in addition McDonalds Priestic Road refuse to rectify, as delivery company still has the money, and fail to take responsibility for yet another failure of service by members of staff.

After queing in the drive thru for over half hour we were informed the system was going through an update and could not take order . We then had to sit in a que of cars waiting to leave the drive thru what a shocking way to end your sat night Good old macdonalds

If you want to wait 20mins in a overcrowded car park then this is the place to visit, seems a lot of staff just starring back at you in the drive through, need to get back to speeding up the cooking process instead of extra staff walking around the car park with luke warm food apologising to everyone for the wait.

Absolutely dire...ordered food at drive through,paid for ....not ready can I park in car park,15 minutes later no one come out,went in store,apparently my order given to someone else,eventually got my food even though asked for a receipt...how am I getting a receipt without my food...no apology....thanks for that !!

No staff on, multiple cars waited and the left. The staff were clearly not being supervised by a manager as a couple were outside having a 'fag' break with a group of other young people not in the mc ds uniform.

Ordered table service, sat and waited for 25 minutes and food still didn’t arrive at the table so I had to go up to the counter to be told they are sorry they missed placed my order, had to wait a extra 10 minute after that, chips taste and looked like they been sat there all day, and my double quarter pounder wasn’t a double it was more like a cheeseburger, cleaners just stood around while the restaurant Was a absolute mess, wouldn’t recommend using this McDonald’s at all 👎👎👎👎👎

They can’t read I asked for a cheese burger with no patty but they put the patty on can’t you fricking read overall if you have picky eaters don’t come here

Waited 20 minutes in car park after going round the drive through for my order to arrive but it never did , went inside to find out what was happening only to be told they didn’t know anything about my order, the supervisor then asked to see my receipt ,so I had to point out you don’t get the receipt until the food arrives. Refund received but the level of customer service is very very poor

Food nice but cold ,buger was stacked terribly cheese melted in the paper the tea was freezing cold and did not taste like tea and when I ask for another one the service was rude and eye balling me the prices are bad for example (£2.29 for buger ,or £2.19 for fries) it outrageous it came to £10.35 for 4 things its not good at all , just came back got a meal fries was cold tipped out on the tray ,cheese burger had nothing too it the cheese was not on the meat at all the meat looks burnt asked for and paid for extra onions had no onions all all it is call a fast food restaurant but the slowest place I've been to asked for ice in my drink but recived no ice discusted by this place has trash everywhere again my burger had no taste cold half the meat was missing do not recommend coming again don't waste your money on this descusting food or drinks hope no on has the same experience as i did

McDonalds as gone down back a lot poor service and the food is always cool

A reasonable example of McDonald's. Car park entry is a tad convoluted but easy enough. Found the counter area congested with delivery drivers. Mostly clean, varied seating. Had an issue with a McFlurry that had to be replaced, other than that nothing outstanding either good or bad.

Used the app, got free stuff, great result 👍

Re: disability toilet Totally disgusting!! Toilet paper (some used with poop marks) on the floor, (trip/slip hazard) sanitary disposal bin half open with discarded products in the opening, the nappy bin overflowing. The smell was horrendous. It's the only toilet for people with a disability to use, so I had to use it, while heaving at the smell. Wanted to speak to staff but long ques and felt queasy Left without purchasing anything, couldn't stomach it after using the toilet for people with disabilities. Only managed one photo due to wretching

So they do breakfast until 11 but won't let you order it until 11, and we're not even allowed to order normal menu until 11:20? Stop bringing in new ways of working that you clearly don't want to actually do. As if you advertise delivery so much and then do this.

Gave me wrong burger i got through drive thru, didnt have time to go back, so decided to eat the one i got, but it was cold, so couldn't eat it.

I think it's OK Sometimes but other times food can be a little dry

This is the second time this week where my order has been completely wrong and missing items inside the order. My partner went to pick me a breakfast roll up this morning got home to find out it was just bacon 😂I had to rob one of his sausages off his muffin and get a cheese slice out my fridge. All I ask for is breakfast roll with brown sauce

Drinks always flat & without ice, chips always cold or cooked in old oil makes them taste dirty. Gobby arrogant staff all look like they should be in school. Terrible & unprofessional.

It's McDonalds you get what you pay for. It's fast cheap and the kids love it.

The food is always cold you get lucky if it hot. It's served by kids that's just left school with attitudes and no manners 😒 but odd ones are nice orders are mostly wrong or miss items

Despite this being one of the better McDonald's for food at the store when you order mcdelivery they send orders for skegby to Kirkby before bringing it back past the restaurant and delivering in skegby with the food stone cold. Do not buy delivery from this restaurant! I've also had an occasion where the delivery driver just gave my food away. Just go to the restaurant, the staff are generally friendly and very good, but everywhere has the odd 'bad apple'.

Completely disappointed. I’ve ordered through app and waiting for my food for 20mins and suddenly my order number disappeared in the app but my payment was taken. I’ve talked to the manager not useful at all. now my time is wasted and money's gone. never coming back to McDonald's again

Waited over 30 mins to be served as priority is always given to the twelve Just Eat riders/drivers with delivery orders. Everything was cold when it eventually arrived and I've more than likely got a parking ticket due to the extended wait. Fast food, definitely not. Hot food forget it. The family won't be back again.

Usually very good here. Went yesterday on a busy day. Ordered caesar salad grilled chicken wrap and nearly finished it, but suddenly felt like throwing up and went to the toilet. Now its the next day and im still feeling nauseous and wanting to be sick. Someone has not cooked or washed properly or left something out too long and now im paying for it. Puts me off now.

Staff here are super friendly and great with kids. Cleanliness is fantastic. And the staff help clear away, tables are wiped down quickly between meals. Food is always hot and fresh tasting.

Orderd thought the McDonald’s app orderd £20+ work off food and orderd stuff with the peel stickers on spacificly, it arrived with nearly all of the stickers already peeled off!! I’m assuming by the staff! Rung up about it and they just said that I have no proof. Terrible service.

All these types of establishments have tasteless food I personally do not buy or eat at these places but members of my family do.

Like all McDonald's these days, they are more interested in serving Deliveroo than customers actually in the restaurant

Really quick service even though the place was packed

4th September 7:27pm The customer service in the drive through is horrible, when taking our order they where talking to others and was rude when it came to pay they didn’t even talk to us just carried in there conversation and just taped the screen where our order shows, when we figured out what they meant we said yes and they shoved the card machine in our face as the continued to have there conversation.

We went through the drive thru and and got 2 mayo chickens and 2 salted caramel frappes it was amazing the mayo chicken was warm and the frappes had the ice crunched down properly it was incredible the best food I've had from McDonald's

Straight through drive through. Had to wait for food to be cooked. Chips were red hot, freshly cooked.

Personel walking around when you asking them about your order because allready gone from screen they telling you is on the screen and go. After another 10 minutes she asking what order i waiting for thats joke all personel look like after hard weekend party ... cold food and personel not friendly .

Got delivery food was cold and undercooked and got food poisoning from here

never send right food every single time we order, never have the phone on to complain and whenever they do they “can’t do anything” because it’s though just eat however it’s not just eat that pack the food into the bags 😂 clearly need better staff or atleast better training because the workers can’t even manage to read an order and put the ideas into a bag correctly !

Well.... It took twenty five minutes to collect three items from the drive through. I was asked to park up, because as usual ' it's not quite ready'. So I did.... 10 minutes later I went to find out where my order was. As I walked in the restaurant, I saw at least fifteen 'just eat' drivers waiting for their collections. They were all sat at tables, so customers couldn't sit down. I went up to the counter only to be ignored by the staff until I collared someone.... In the end I got my food only to find it was cold when I got home. Phoned McDonald's customer service up told them about my adventure... They seemed to care. They offered me a free meal, but I declined., I won't be setting foot in that disgusting place ever again. McDonald's you need to get your staff trained!!!

Air conditioned, so pleasant on a summers day. Ordered and at the table in minutes by a friendly server. Food was on par for mcds breakfast

It's just a McDonald's fairly clean fairly good service and fills a hole, however the food at any McDonald's is never great especially the burgers, they lack flavour!

Absolutely rubbish , spent 15 minutes at the drive through ready to order and never managed to . Out of the two drive through order stations they just spoke to the opposite one . I gave up on the 11 car ordering on the opposite window without being able to order , I'm guessing that's why they have so many just eat orders as going in person seems to be a complete waste of time .

It's McDonald's, it is what it is! Nothing wrong with today's visit at all.

Usuak McDonald's Good staff Bit slow

Staff stood round doing nothing, yet waited ages. Order wrong, wanted a McSpicy got a Fillet of Fish. Don’t even like fish. Wrong on the receipt so couldn’t even go back to argue the toss. Food was cold. Avoid.

10pm drive thru experience- shocking service. Took almost 30mins to get food and drive away. The Big Mac and Bacon cheeseburger were so badly put together, contents falling out of the sandwiches and sauce all over the box/wrapper. No apology for delay, no updates on what was going on - total farce. Never coming to this drive thru ever again!

Food was hot and fresh, and served to us quickly. We sat in and it was very clean and tidy, a lady was quick to clear your rubbish away for you when you were finished. Toilets were also very clean and smelt very fresh! Very pleasant McDonald's!

My nearest McDonald’s is in Northampton and by comparison this one is a great deal better. I noticed a review saying their meal was barely warm, this is my view of Northampton. This McDonald’s though was totally the opposite and the burger actually tasted like a burger rather than the usual offering of moist cardboard I usually get and regret. Would come again but try sitting in which is a different story in my experience as they prioritise drive through over sit in.

Food: was amazing Service: they were nice people but forgot multiple things for me and my friends (we went for a birthday party) missed out my chicken nuggets and drink, missed out my friends drink and fries. Had to wait 40mins but doesn't really matter. Atmosphere: Everyone around was polite, the iPads were working perfectly and really enjoyed it

Only go if no one else is open. Nothing against the store itself, just the food.

A well ran mcdonalds with but one pound I fed myself. Choosing the chicken fillet burger for £0.99 I have enjoyed making use of the toilet facilities also. A range of different people operate in here, I noticed everybody from every colour and class to the young and old, disabled and whole. God bless this store
