McDonald's in Ashfield

Absolutely ridiculous, the staff are an absolute shambles. I really don't get how difficult it is to remove some sauce from a burger ? I've seen it come up on your screens its not hard to read and if you can't read it should you be working there ? Problem after problem and if you order on the my macdonalds app for delivery the only way to attempt to get a refund for the inedible food is to ring uber.....terrible place

Very rare do I ever have any issues with my order and when I do, it’s quickly replaced without question. Some of the staff are nice but some just seem like they don’t want to be there which I suppose in understandable.

This mcdonalds has been shocking since it first opened and still no better 15+ minute wait just for a box of nuggets last 2 times I've been in ( not at busy times) and 9 out of 10 times cold when you finally get your food...ordering online no better pay extra for dips each time that never come with the order hands down the worst mcdonalds in Notts.

Shocking staff, cold food, rude incompetent management. Staff were rude, waited ages, order wrong and cold. Spoke with young female manager who was really awful and tried to say pretty much that nobody should ever complain.

Cappuccino only half full. Please push the button on the Coffee machine twice, as if not only half full and Coffee mix very strong

Food was ready quickly but was only just warm. Staff seem disinterested in their jobs.

This place is more bothered about just eat and deliveroo. Not really thinking about the pile of cars in the drive through. Get to the window, collect a cold coffee and then have to park up and try to enjoy your cold coffee and wait for some cold fries and a burger you didn't order.

Ordered food was cold. Waiting time outside rush hours was long, nearly 10 mins. Like other MD restaurants tables was sticky and food lay in the floor corners. Quality of food served is drastically dripping down when prices are going high.

Everytime I visit there is always something wrong with my order. Fries are usually barely lukewarm and smell of old cooking oil. Milkshake machine most of the time is out of order. Items missing from order. Water instead of sprite. Hard to believe they have a duty manager looking after this branch. Bunch of amateurs.

Clean standard MC donalds next to large Tesco and near station

I very rarely go to this McDonald's as there is always an issue. We decided to give them another go and once again it was very disappointing. We used the drive through and ordered big macs, cheese burgers and fries. We were asked to wait in bay 1 (surely these are the basic food items they should have available). It took quite some time for us to get our food which then made it that we had to rush back home. After getting the food out of the bag, Yet again, the food was cold and we had items missing from the order but this seems to happen EVERY TIME 😡 The burgers looked as though they had been thrown together and there was more filling in the box than on the burger. As we had gone home, it was not worth going out again to let them know we were certain items missing so McDonald's gets away with it yet again. They must be making loads of money from the food they charge for but never give.

Everything I order from the app something is wrong or is missing. For example the past two times I've ordered for delivery they have missed out 3 portions of fries and two pies. This morning when ordering from the breakfast menu, they totally forgot a sausage and egg muffin, got a drink completely wrong ( ordered a large coke and we got a medium oasis). It's just silly and when you ring up to try and sort it out they tell you to come down to the restaurant, or go through the app, where you spend an hour trying to get a refund. Its ridiculous

This store is convenient after a long shopping trip unfortunately service is always slow in the shop.

Pleasant McDonald's outlet . Food was hot and tasty ,and the staff were nice and approachable plus the restaurant was clean and constantly being cleaned . Thank you 🙏

Having a member of management tell me I am "too young" to be disabled. And them stood at the door staring. Given the very discriminatory attitude I've received I don't think I'll be going back

Ordered though the app for food to be delivered. As usual an item was missing. This is my main bug bear with this McDonalds, so frustrating.. Then you end up having to spend an hour of your evening to get a £2 refund. Do they care? Nope.

Where do I start... if you order in restairant your going to get sort of a correct order. Order via the app and you're taking it into your own hands! Not once have we had a correct order via the app, you have to ring Uber - which is OK to get tour money back or an incorrect order or incomplete, but if they have had 2 incorrect orders which yoi have reported, they then mark your account as a discrepancy- yet the mistake was with them and not the customer! Your then £9 out of pocket for a meal that was never delivered- As they refuse to refund you. McDonald's and Uber is there for convenience not an inconvenience to get your ordered food. 1st week - 20 chicken nuggets, 2nd week steak cheese meal and then to top it off 15 working days to get a refund - this is 3 weeks yet 3 seconds to take people's money!! Not good enough

I placed an order and it arrived soggy, melted and disgusting and had to throw it all away in the bin because I didn't want my family getting ill. I had called them 2x in between the delay and all they know how to do is apologise and ask you request a refund via the app you ordered the food from. The service has always been subpar

Blonde girl on the window didn't even speak when she handed the food or drinks over ordered my daughter a hot chocolate, let it cool to find they had made another coffee. This place never gets orders right.

My husband and I went to Hucknall McDonald's twice and we've been served by a lovely young guy tonight who helped us with the services. Always polite and hard worker young staff (they would definitely need a pay rise!) and extremely neat environment, which they tend to keep clean all the time with no stop! In our opinion the most clean McDonald's ever! We love going there and joining the great food.

Placed order and 20 minutes later no food or anybody at the counter to ask about what is happening staff ignored customers asking what is happening total shambles

What an absolute farce. Went in around 2am not overly busy to find chips strewn over the floor. Ordered a coffee via the app. After 20 minutes still no coffee. So I ended up having to go to the counter to collect it.

Went through the drive through. Ordered, paid, collected, went home and ate our macmuffins. Its a macdonalds, its what they do, and this one does it adequately.

Recently this place has gone right down hill. Every order seems to have something missing from it. I'd rather go to the Bulwell one.

Would normally give a Maccies a 5* review however very recently this particular Maccies have started charging for condiments - sauce 30+ years of going to Maccies and now at a time when everyone is scrimping I have to handover 10p per pot of my favourite Maccies sauce 🤦. Anyway always like this one, never too busy.

Amount of times I get to work etc and they never give or put milk in bag for tea. No spoon for porridge so couldn’t eat it. Countless orders incorrect, missing items

Waited ages for food, ordered on screen and no print outs, then people were being asked to produce reciepts when none given. Asked for ketchup as the pump ketchup was empty, was told they had to pay for ketchup, then told to use the pump one. I explained it was empty the server just smirked and said oh. I said they were the only McDonalds who charged for ketchup and they said it was a pilot being tried out there. Will never go there again or any other if they charge extra for condiments.

Food is always subpar compared with several other McDonalds. I have never gotten the sauces with the order, even ones I've paid for. The atmosphere is bleak and dead, full of teenagers and is quite dark inside because of the location.

Clean restaurant and the staff are friendly there was an issue with missing items from our order but was quickly resolved good facilities for children also.

Absolutely useless always items missing on every single order! Quality control dont exist! happy to refund you in 3 to 5 working days but will expect you to drive out your way to collect missing items not get them delivered as they want you to pay for the pointless efforts!! Had a meal ordered with food, drinks and McFlurry’s. None of the drinks or McFlurrys turned up so had to refund on delivery and order them items again. Then when they turn up a milkshake is missing. This is terrible. If staff there aren’t able to read an order ticket properly then they shouldn’t be working in hospitality. No attentiveness at all it’s pathetic.

If you have food delivered from McDonald’s it is more likely than not that it will be cold so I would not recommend having food delivered,if you complain about it the staff just say it is nothing to do with them it is the delivery service

Hucknall. Waited 5 minutes for someone to take the order in the drive through, ordered a triple bbq cheeseburger meal, a triple cheeseburger, large fries and 20 nuggets. Ended up with 1 fries, a single bbq beefburger with no cheese and 15 nuggets, then had to wait for the drink…….an orange juice. The only thing correct was the sauce!!! Then nearly ended up with the next persons food because the staff serving weren’t concentrating. Useless, definitely won’t be getting food from them again.

Can't fault the taste, but you don't actually get what you asked for most of the time... especially with the drive through. Items missing or if you've customised a burger, it'll come without the changes

Place was being managed by very young staff who didn't appear to have control over what happened at all. There were lots of unaccompanied young people in there, who seemed to know the staff that were allegedly in charge. There were kids running through the restaurant, being noisy, sitting on tables, and not actually buying anything. It felt more like a youth club than a restaurant. It needs some more mature staff in charge, and security staff to keep out people who have gone there to do things other than have a meal. Carry on like this and people will stop going, I'll certainly think twice before taking my family there again.

If I could rate zero stars I would, literally get every delivery order wrong there's always items missing most of the time it's a whole meal and all they say is come to the drive-thru but that defeats the whole purpose of ordering a delivery

Probably the best and cleanest McDonald's I've ever been to the coffee didn't taste like water and the food was well presented. The cleanliness of the place was brilliant as well you can tell they clean everywhere.

This ashgate hucknall mc Donald’s is a nightmare for delivery drivers collecting their orders. On several occasions I’ve experienced managers turning a blind eye when I’ve tried to get their attention for something that I’ve needed, it is obvious to everyone I was trying to call someone a staff member or a manager as they were literally 6,7 feet away from me I tried shouting a little as the music was on high but they still decide to ignore it is not just me who experiences this it is others too. The waiting time for our orders most of the time is ridiculous even when it looks quiet and not many orders on the screen. There is no proper designated area for delivery drivers to wait for our orders the staff direct us to wait in the corner right next to where customers eat at their tables not giving customers the little bit of privacy that they should have also, when we do go into the corner it is difficult to keep an eye and ear out for when our order is called as it can get busy sometimes and may miss the chance to collect our order when it is ready even if the screen has malfunctioned that makes everything worse. We are supposed to be your delivery partners and we would like the same respect, politeness and professionalism that a lot of us drivers give u the same back to us please. Radford road Nottingham mc Donald’s they realised the complications they had and resolved the problem by refurbishing the building so everyone can have it better please do the same for this ashgate one so everyone can be happier.

Worst McDonalds I have ever been to. The waiting time inside and on drive through is always terrible. Everytime the same.

I usually order take away and this is the 3rd time that something is being messed up. Today I ordered cheese burger but I was given hamburger instead. Unfortunately, I can see this only once I am home. Last time when I ordered Halloumi fries with 3 sweet and sour dips, I was given only tomato ketchup which I realised only once I opened it at home. They always mess up something or the other. Spicy chicken burger is ver dry and hard to bite. Food quality is very poor. For take away, better to check the items in the bag before you step out of the restaurant.

This is a great little place where a group of us with families pile into after 9pm on certain occasions. Around 24 of us this week with our children all getting a treat.

Online orders always seem to take priority over actual customers in store. Waiting. Slow service when even slightly busy. Random staff just wandering around looking lost or flustered. Food arrived looking like a car crash.

Virst visit to Hucknall McDonald's. My double cheese burger was very salty. My fries weren't freshly cooked but were overcooked and dry and think they had been fried for sometime. I won't be planning on visiting this restaurant any time soon.
