McDonald's in Ashfield

Food quality wasn't great. Besides that, everything else was like in typical McDonald's.

Been burned before and ordering on the off chance it won't be awful? Don't. It will 100% be awful. That's if they even manage to find your house which is not guaranteed. Our last driver claimed to have been here 30 mins before but our no gate was locked, then "the address was wrong on the app" but miraculously he managed to find us in the end so it couldn'thave been that wrong. Maybe it would've been better if he didn't. I think we've had food delivered 4 times from this branch and each and every time it's been awful. Even when they do remember to include all the items, which happens approx 25% of the time, they are like weird counterfeit items that arrive. Chewy cold fries with no salt stale as hell. Carbonated water instead of drinks. Burgers that are kind of like how they are supposed to be, but worse. Honestly, it's diabolical, probably the worst Mcdonalds in the area. If you eat in or collect, it's better- below average for what is ostansibly a standardised concept, but at least it's edible.

the food quality is poor, if you get delivery, your food either turns up cold, stale (most likely the fries) or they get the order completely wrong, and when you file a complaint they direct you to uber eats (a DELIVERY company). next time, hire people that actually know how to cook

Called after an hour and a half waiting for food. Restaurant said they were waiting for courier. When the food finally arrived 2 hours 20 minutes after placing order it was freezing cold and a burger missing. £35 down the drain and only refunded £7

delivery guy was so nice and polite

Delivery time kept extending. Started off at 18:10 and ended up changing to 18:40…. and when it arrived there were 2 drinks missing. There always seems to be something wrong with my order or things missing. Disappointed as it was my son’s birthday and it was his drink that was missing today.

Very poor all the food is stone cold ordered just after 6 pm and received it at nearly 7pm so for the food to be cold it’s been made and not delivered straight away and also the Coke Zero lid wasn’t on properly so hardly any pop but to top it off the delivery lady was brilliant

Absolutely awful service. Ordered via the app, and went through the drive through… they can’t have processed it properly and tried twice to give me the wrong order. The guy at the window (who I think was a supervisor) wanted to then take my card to pay for something I wasn’t authorising!!!! No, that’s FRAUD! He then said I needed to go all the way around to queue again! Why should I?! They can’t get a single order right and then want to take your card to pay themselves???? DODGY!!!!

original delivery time was between 13.05 and 13.25 and didn't arrive till 2pm and the chips were stone cold.

I hadn't been to McDonald's in a while, so I decided to give it another try, but I regret it. The Big Mac felt disappointingly small far from what I remember (they should rename it the small mac) and the fries were lukewarm with a cardboard-like texture. Both the nuggets and cheese dippers were bland and tasteless. The only highlight was the strawberry milkshake, but even that was ruined by the soggy paper straw, forcing me to throw half of it away. To top it off, the meal cost nearly £20. Safe to say, I won’t be returning anytime soon.

Poor service. No one knew where my order was. Ordered at 4pm for 5:45. Turned up at 7:24 freezing cold. Rang multiple times between this and got told they were going to cancel my order be added there were no drivers. Contacted just eat via email.

Took an age to deliver - with estimated time always moving backwards. Should just have drive to the place and ordered - the drive-thru lane gets 100% priority as if thus shuts down, so does the restaurant. Walk-in orders & couriers are ignored.

Delivery driver was awful, rude, laughing that he couldn’t find the address, had to go searching the streets for him, while he sat in his car, food was stone cold, drinks half empty, ice creams melted. Not acceptable

Ordered at 7.54am food arrived at 10am. Food was stone cold. Can't blame McDonald's, I assume they made it and thought just eat would actually source a driver, but here we are.

This is a complaint about the home-delivery service from this particular location. The last 3 orders we have placed have had things missing on arrival. It’s pointless ringing to complain or get it rectified as no one answers the phone. Whilst it isn’t michelin star dining, you at least expected everything to be ‘in the bag’. Frustrating, and not using this service again .

Never been to this branch before, and have to say the service was exceptional ! The voucher I had wouldn't work at the kiosk, so the guy on the till processed it without fuss.... As I am disabled, I sat on a chair awaiting my number to come up when a couple of minutes later a guy brought the order to me ! As if that wasn't enough - they saw I was struggling with the ketchup dispenser and came to hand me some prepacked ! Sorry I didn't catch the staff name(s) but this place should be a model for all Makkys ! Well done lads.

I'm allergic to onion, yet they ignored that and sent onions on the burgers. I didn't receive any cheese bites and my daughter didn't receive her order and what we did get was shocking.

Long waits. Orders never correct.

Ordered via deliveroo and food arrived in 10 minutes. Burgers and fries were cold and the milkshake was melted. I was clearly given food that had been left on a service counter for more than 10 minutes as hot food is meant to be served with a holding temperature of 63 or above and this order had a temperature of 27!!! Absolutely diabolical.

Ordered at 19:20 kept being delayed by 10 minutes a time despite the “courier being at the restaurant” spoke with the store who said nobody here and best to cancel, kept trying to do so and eventually at 9.05 the order came and was freezing cold, we’d already ordered from elsewhere to replace this order. We hope for a redund

They cannot get the orders right at all my local Macy's an there awful drive in walk in order in check your order!! I mean how can you forget the chicken select from a chicken select meal? Milk shakes like water meals are cold chips cold an tasteless not once has everything been nice shocking I'll be using bulwell Macy's in future hucknall isn't worth it's prices

Food was over an hour late, rang and said they would be 20 min and would give free spring rolls as a sorry, the food arrived nearly 40 mins later and the food wasn’t even good. I won’t be ordering from here again unfortunately.

We went to McDonald's ay 10pm last night and the staff were nowhere, a delivery driver had to grab someone to get their orders, Our chips were cold and not very nice. I know it was late but I paid for food and expect it to be at least warm, ov which it was not. Disappointed in general

Fries, stale, hard and not warm.....Nuggets, not warm.....Burger, uncooked bacon (like rubber) and again...not warm......this pains me as I am a big fan on Maccies.

Food is always good, service is hit or miss. It's not great feeling you need to compete with all the just eat delivery guys to wait for your food though.

again items missing report to JUSTEAT who reply with we hope you understand we have looked into your refund request and won't refund. So again these companies cannot get orders correct but we has the consumer still have to pay for food we don't receive. It's shocking!!!!

Fries were cold. Once they came in a small bag of there own, kept the fries fairly hot.

Long queues and too much waiting for a fast food restaurant, not acceptable especially in the morning. It hasn’t been always like this, but recently the drive through staff asks the cars to wait anywhere in the car park which is already full. Orders are missing items and you need to check everything before setting off, which is not very pleasant when you have a big order and you don’t have time.

Nuggets were okay but seemed a smidge undercooked so didn’t eat all of them only a few, milkshake was perfect and fries were horrible didn’t touch them tasted incredibly dry and harder than usual, they are usually soft and delicious but they were just tough. Certainly put me off this food

Absolutely shocking. Avoid at all costs don’t bother wasting money here. It’s a ‘poo’ show at absolute best. The staff are rude and extremely unhelpful. I don’t leave reviews often but this has happened to us time and time again, this time my partner has returned the order to the store as per their request and only the food which was missing they were prepared to replace so the rest of the order is now inedible and freezing! Couldn’t give this place a worse review if I tried. Rude staff wrong food missing food and an absolute poo show!

I have mentioned this before, you order 20 chicken nuggets and every time no dips are received, it ruins a meal with out them, it even said it on the receipt but none delivered

Virst visit to Hucknall McDonald's. My double cheese burger was very salty. My fries weren't freshly cooked but were overcooked and dry and think they had been fried for sometime. I won't be planning on visiting this restaurant any time soon.
