The Pickle Jar is the cafe located within Queens Park and is well worth a visit. Have a stroll around the beautiful park, take the children into the playground then stop for a nice drink/snack/ice cream. It is very clean, the staff are lovely and work hard. The cakes are home made and are very tempting.

visited queens park today for the first time in years and was pleasantly surprised to see lots of families sitting on the grass enjoying their picnics. Decided to have a bacon roll and cup of tea in the Pickle Jar cafe. The roll was very nice, the tea was ok, the staff were pleasant. The manager, I presume it was him, was useless, standing behind the till like a King and doing absolutely nothing. Place wasn't very clean. Didnt notice a council hygiene certificate pinned up anywhere. Wont be going again..

Llama hoy aquí, para tomar un helado después de una caminata. Eran terribles, y rancio. Evidentemente ha sido en el congelador desde el verano pasado! Pérdida de 6 libras. . . . . Pobre.

Me and my daughter went to Crewe park with our little dog so we knew when we went to the cafe we would have to sit outside,I went in and ordered 2 sausage batch and drinks when the waitress came out with them she was very abrupt with us. when we tried to eat the batches it was like eating rubber the sausages were burnt and the batches were stale. the young girl behind the counter was very polite and said she would re-order but l requested a refund l would recommend anyone going to the park to take there own food that way they wouldn't be disappointed.

Visited the Queens park which is fantastic . And fancied a cup of tea and a sit down so tried the on site cafe , A couple where being served as I waited friendly staff chatting and serving my turn next asked for my tea while this was going on the manager was stood by the till , Made no effort to serve me or the customer who was behind me. seems he does not serve the customers !. sat down on a empty table which was not cleaned and the floor was dirty not the staff's fault as customer's kept coming in the manager however seems to think its ok to fiddle about while rome burns no help to his staff . looked like a cheap tea bag and tasted like it will not be returning .

I think it is quite a handy little shop this - it is attached to the petrol station and they do sell some stuff which is not Marks and Spencer as well as their own brand. There are a few non petrol parking spaces if you are going to the shop only and there is a cash machine which may be an easier one to get to than other parts of the town. A few people have remarked it is more difficult to get in and out if there is busy traffic, stating the obvious really
