I visit this place every year and the service is amazing and they couldn’t do enough for you, the staff are so kind and they are a credit to the management, thank you for a wonderful experience.

We have have been visiting this restaurant for years and will continue to. Very nice food at very competitive prices. All the staff are very friendly and welcoming. There are other places to eat in the vicinity but we will always choose The Piazza or as we affectionately call it - The Red Cafe! The 6-item breakfast is one of our favourites but there are plenty of options to choose from on the menu . You can't go wrong here!

Massive choice for all the family and everything was cooked to perfection. Even home made food choices. Definitely be eating there again, thank you, very clean and tidy and friendly staff. Highly recommend

Called in for lunch we had the carvery ham with egg and chips also came with some salad. Very tasty, place was clean and tidy and the guy who served was very friendly. Didn't wait long for our food despite it being quite busy. Some good breakfast options on the menu so it may be a breakfast next time. Not overpriced

Great breakfast ,the toast here is 100% better than morrisons cafe toast and that takes some doing..

First and last time trying this place, I'm baffled at the good reviews. Fish and chips came with salad which I thought was odd, no option of mushy peas. Fish was extremely slimey and put me off. Chips weren't even homemade, they were fried oven chips. Over priced £2 tiny plastic cup of flat "Pepsi". £32 wasted.

Meals are absaloutly spot on delicious 😋 never ever had food that has tasted like it should at a restaurant and the the staff are so kind polite and helpful will always go here every year 5* all around from me 😊

Went in for drinks with the grandchildren, made to feel welcome. Lovely and clean. Was impressed that we went back later for our lunch. One had already decided that she wanted fish and chips with curry sauce on the side and the other read the menu and chose lasagna, these weren’t on the children’s menu and the portions were generous and the girls couldn’t manage to eat it all. The staff were really good and friendly making sure that we had everything we wanted. Will definitely come here again.

Visited here for a bite to eat wasn’t disappointed, staff friendly , service quick , great prices we opted for 6 breakfast items ( choose your own 6 ) with 2 toast or bread and butter for £4.50 drinks are extra , the food was hot cooked well , only negative was brown sauce which was bit harsh tasting but not an issue to be fair

Called for lunch. I had a brunch. My husband asked for Cornish pasty chips beans and gravy He got peas instead of beans. Staff did offer to take it back. Friendly staff. Found a table straight away

Very surprised amazing value ! Staff again on the ball! Fast service and someone that eats out a lot ! The food was spot on my partner and I said 100% would be our first stop when we come again ! Cheep food affordable prices and really fast service

Visited the Piazza Restaurant for lunch as it looked really interesting & old style & seemed popular - maybe as it's on the main street & there aren't many choices for lunch besides chains. There is ample seating - both in & outdoors. Service was very friendly & efficient. It does seem like quite a well-oiled machine. You choose a seat & staff take your orders & payment, before you're served. We ordered a chicken tikka on rice & a Cornish pasty with peas, chips & gravy. Also a pot of tea & a Vimto. Everything came up to £14.95. The food was served piping hot, which was good. The pasty was a good size & was tasty though the pastry was a tad soft & soggy rather than crisp. It was a good portion with the chips & peas. The tikka was a smaller than expected portion. It wasn't bad & did taste nice, but it would have been good if there was more for the price. The tea pot was really stained with tea on the inside, it looked like it had never been washed! Overall, the food was decent, but nothing to shout about. Worth a visit when you're in Rhyl.

Went here for lunch on our holiday with the kids. The staff were friendly and helpful, didn't have to wait long for them to take our orders or for our meals to come to us. Cafe was clean and tidy as were the toilets. The food was spot on, came out piping hot, good portions on the plates, well presented and well cooked. And the was reasonable, especially considering we were in a holiday town and very close to the beach. We are going to Rhyl again next year and will definitely be going here for our food when we go into town.

This place reminds me of a Wimpy. Looks like it’s not been refurbished since the 80’s. Not the cleanest place either. Had fish and chips and although it was a pretty nice meal with a nice piece of fish, good chips and salad it was let down by no salt on the tables and the sachet they supplied had about 10 grains in it. I’m also sure peas shouldn’t be 5 different colours. Pepsi was also watery. Staff also impossible to interact with after order taken and money paid.

Service was slow, the cutlery was dirty and the staff were rude. Spent 40 minutes waiting for my food and the staff were too busy standing around and talking to eachother instead of doing their job.

Very rude server, young girl with blonde hair today called my daughter a slur whilst I was busy ordering, and then denied when my daughter told me and I confronted her. The food was of average quality but not quite sure how a 5 year old can be a “sl*g”. Utterly disgraceful and very tense atmosphere, however the frequent bickering amongst the staff made up for the hole that the food left in my heart, and my stomach since I have IBS.

We visited Rhyl for the day and popped just for a drink we were greeted by lovely member of staff. We had our drinks then decided we were goin back for food later on in day. We went back to get something to eat and couldn't fault anything the food was lovely table service brilliant and nice to go into a cafe with a great atmosphere. When we visit again definitely will return there. Thank you.

Stopped for hot drinks, 3 adults, 3 young children and a dog. Lively and enthusiastic kids desperately required some sort of sustenance and we were met by a lovely member of staff who quickly recommended biscuits to accompany drinks. Drinks served really promptly, hot chocolate without cream as they'd just run out BUT the staff member said as much and dashed off to the shop to acquire some and sorted it within minutes. Really welcoming, helpful patient and informative which is most appreciative with three little ones in tow + pup 😊😊

Ate here today for lunch. Food was beautiful. Staff very friendly and attentive. Prices was good value for money. Would definitely recommend and will surely be visiting again from our site 10 miles away 100 % worth it 👍🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Had a lovely breakfast this morning after weatherspoons turned us down sitting outside with the dog 🐶 so thought we would try here more than welcome for us to sit outside even brought the dog some water food was lovely staff very friendly and helpful 😊

Today i went here for food, i asked a member of staff for 1 of the plastic high chairs, he asked me whats a highchair, i explained and he went to ask another member of staff what 1 of them was. I had to not bother with 1 in the end. So i sat fown ordered me and my kids food, cutlery was dirty, when food arrived my cottage pie meat was way under cooked, told them, the lad looked and said ohh ok, carried on cleaning, there was old gravy all over the back of my chair, every time i go here i hope for improvement, but tables are alwats dirty, and have to ask them 6 to 7 times to clean them, not to mention all the dirty flies flying round everywhere and dirty plates and cups. Really, this place should have a food hygine visit, 5 rating? How?

Well what can I say arron and our server ruby were once again brilliant food as usual very hot and filled us up granddaughter enjoyed her chips and drink would highly recommend this place for service and food thanks for looking after us

Lovely friendly staff and food is great.

I live in Rhyl and I had a group of friends visiting from London. Decided to bring them here for lunch after they arrived, we all had toasties and chips which were great. There were many different options for fillings which was lovely and the staff were brilliant and had a laugh with us all (even though you could tell they were busy.) Whilst sat eating could see a poster in the window for a 6 item breakie for less than £5 so we decided that’s where we would be coming to get our hangover cure the next morning Again couldn’t fault the food it was hot when it came over and very enjoyable just what we all needed. The staff that had been in the day before remembered us and came over to make sure everything was good and just treated us lovely It’s great to see a local cafe that has great food and great staff. Will definitely be eating here more often.

The only thing we ate off our plates were the chips left the rest which were containing meat or should have been meat 🤮🤮 disgusting and tasteless never again there

First impressions that it looks from outside that's it is run down but highly recommended this place as the good was great and the service was amazing you take a seat and with in a cupple of mins after you sitting with the menu they came over and take your order very friendly and warm welcomeing and the price of the food was good was lovely to eat here and all freshly made.

I visited with a friend on Sunday afternoon around 13:30. Received a friendly hello, found a table towards the back of the diner and was quickly asked if we needed menus! These were brought over straight away. I ordered the 1/4 chicken burger with chips I also added a pot of curry sauce and my friend ‘built’ their own breakfast! I was very happy with my chicken burger and chips however found the curry sauce a little chalky. My friend wasn’t keen on the mushrooms on her breakfast said they tasted tinned or frozen! We found the decor very retro we compared it to a little chef or wimpy from the 80’s which we liked. Most of the staff were friendly and efficient. However my friend noticed one member of staff go into the toilet and there was No hand dryer noise before they came out, she pointed out the hand dryer noise when customers were in there! The question is did he wash his hands!? The place would really benefit from customer Wi-Fi as it is a dead zone for internet use! Had I been on my own the review would have been more positive with a 4 star rating but due to my friend’s observations it is reduced somewhat. We did get a friendly goodbye as we left! I would definitely return not sure about my friend. It is the toilet issue that caused the biggest loss of stars!

We ate here the other day while doing a day trip to Rhyl. This is our usual go-to for food but it was our friends first time coming here with us. Absolutely wonderful food as per usual, we had a male waiter and he was absolutely lovely. We all wished we got his name to mention him in a review. He had a laugh with us while taking orders, spoke to my son and cheered him up (aged 2) who was pretty unsettled. He checked that everything was okay with our food, asked if we needed any more condiments and was just super jolly in himself. Really makes for a pleasant experience. Only way I cN describe him is tall (around 6ft I'd say). Portion sizes and prices are the best we've ever came across in Rhyl. Food has always been piping hot and never had a problem with any of the meals. Definitely value for money and family friendly. They even had childrens programmes on the TV. It was really busy when we arrived with only a few tables left, but the wait for food was next to nothing. The service was very quick.

Was sat waiting a while to order, even though the place wasn't busy. Other customers arrived after me and were served. Customer service isn't good, there were staff walking around cleaning the odd table. Waiting time is far too long. I left.

I usually order the breakfast deal, but the all together it can be a decent meal!, the place though is a bit warn down and does need a refurbishment along with the seagulls & penguins coming in ( which at times the staff cannot help it ), but they have stuck with the Covid regulations alright & would recommend the breakfast deal :)

Situated on a street corner in central Rhyl, this place is full of 70's nostalgia where the extended chippy come cafe we're all the rage, plastic chairs and tables add to the charm as does table service, but the best bits are the menu and the quality of the food and portion sizes, and price, the Piazza has now become a regular lunchtime stop for us

I review a lot of restaurants and try to be honest and I have to say that this is one of the best restaurants I’ve been to in a long time it’s not fancy but it serves good freshly made food I had chicken curry and chips the chips where hot and made to order the chicken curry was delicious with big chunks of chicken not to spicy and my wife had a quarter pound hamburger which she said was amazing and then for dessert banana split which was amazingly delicious with three scoops of ice cream of any flavour and trust me there was a large selection of ice cream from mint choc chips to bubble gum flavour cream chocolate sauce and flakes the staff were very friendly and extremely helpful and gave you the impression that they were genuinely happy to serve you must also say the coffee was very good percolated coffee it’s not very often I am impressed but if you want good wholesome food and drink at reasonable prices this is the place to go

i visited this place last week and i can say that the staff are very friendly but the one thing that let it down was the fish i had it seemed liked it was cooked in water and the flavour was non-existent not flakey at all ,the texture felt creamy in the mouth not a pleasant experience at all chips was fine but had to throw fish away.

Was really looking forward to the 6 piece breakfast, sadly it wasn't very nice. The fried bread was rock hard, the egg was basically rubberised and the sausage had a very strange taste. This was our usual breakfast cafe when visiting Rhyl, but we will be looking for somewhere else in future

Fantastic service! As soon as we took our seats, the girls on service were very welcoming. My Grandma, in a wheelchair, was made to feel very comfortable and the waitresses catered very well to this. The food was great and brought out in good time...

Daughter moved to the area we went to vist she told us not to use hotel for breakfast but walk 5 minutes into town for a great breakfast and valve for money too . Arrived to a warm welcome , staff cleaning and dressed smart...
