We had a really delicious Sunday lunch at the pheasant. The roast dinners are very generous portions and really tasty. We also had pudding, I would recommend the Eton mess! Thank you to our server Millie also, great job! Really friendly place, will definitely be back!

Much needed Sunday roast We originally booked toby carvery but got there to find car park full. Couldn't find a space so phoned and cancelled. Called pheasant. Lovely lady answered and in 10 minutes seated with 2 roast beef dinners ordered. It was fresh and tasty but too many peas and not enough roast potatoes Only 2 on my plate. The lady came to our table and asked if we were enjoying our meal and yes we did perfect Yorkshire puds and gravy beef was nice too. She went and spoke to all the diners a real landlady? I'm not sure if she was but she was amazing and helpful. Explained different meals on offer on different days and take out options. She's a gem 💎

Had heard good things about the food, having been years ago we expected a significant improvement. We went for Sunday roast and were really disappointed. The food came piled up i.e the peas had the potatoes on them, followed by the beef , topped off with a Yorkshire. The bits ( not florets) of cauliflower surrounded this stack along with two slivers of carrot and two slightly larger parsnips. Although to be fair it tasted ok, it looked unappetising on the plate before you even started . The potatoes weren’t remotely roasted ( no par boiling and smashing around in hot oil) the beef would have been more at home on my foot and they didn’t have anything as luxurious as horseradish! We didn’t complain at the time because we could only see kids serving and that’s not fair to them. They all also came across as lovely but we won’t be back!

I’ve posted a review on The Pheasant previously and it wasn’t positive. I’m really pleased to say that things have improved significantly. 1. There has been some consistency in the staff with regular faces who seem engaged in the role and customers 2. The food has really improved and now warrants the cost and the chicken madras is the best pub curry I’ve had in ages… if you aren’t into spice you may wish to avoid… BUT it is GREAT. Well done one turning this around and now making The Pheasant a great local. Now if the Chancellor will lower alcohol duty!?!

The food was lovely as always. However, the floors and tables were sticky. When I went to get some menus, they were soaking wet and sticky. Could almost understand if short staffed, but lots of staff hanging around. Pretty shameful and overshadowed the lovely food ☹️

I often go for my Sunday lunch at the pheasant pub. I am very fussy about my roasts and found the food here to be by far the best I’ve tried. Fiona and Nigel are always very welcoming and Fiona’s customer service skills are second to none. She is always extremely courteous and can’t do enough for her customers. I would highly recommend this Establishment not only for the great standard of food but for the excellent standards of service provided by Fiona and all her staff.

Absolutely appalling service! Visited for lunch and had to wait 1 hour and 20 minutes for a very simple lunch. We also witnessed other diners getting frustrated as there was only one bar staff member who was clearly rushed off her feet and one waiter serving. Finally we were served bacon baguettes when we had actually ordered vegetarian options. These were returned to the kitchen and swapped but towards the end of the meal, much to our horror we discovered one of the baguettes contained bacon!! This is totally unacceptable especially for those suffering with allergies, intolerances not to mention cultural choices! An awful experience, we won't be returning.

This place is absolutely terrible! The food was horrible and the service was awful! I was astonished it took nearly three hours to serve lunch. Additionally the menu was extremely limited with small portions and food is very low quality as well. The wait staff were neglectful, and you should expect to go up to the bar area multiple times yourself if you want refills on your drinks. Overall I would highly recommend avoiding this place, it's overpriced and low quality...

Ate recently at the Pheasant, was apprehensive after hearing about it from friends but thought i'd give it a go. It was very understaffed for 'rush hour' evening on a warm, sunny day with very long queues. The server at the bar (fiona the land lady?) was extremely snappy at a young waitress, pushing her to the side or rolling her eyes and being very patronising towards her! The attitude was horrendous! The place was clean and the food was okay but won't be back, made to feel like going would be a burden on the lady who served me. If you're thinking of going, look at the reviews, I can tell I'm not the only one feeling this way.

Went there for a Wednesday Lunch with 3 others. The place was obviously popular and very full. Only problem was the wait for the food. the single lady serving was very apologetic and said everyone was off sick and there was only one chef in the kitchen. We later saw another person behind the bar (presume it was the landlady) but our waitress appeared quite harassed with all she had to do as well as frequently apologise (very nicely) for the wait. When the food came (3 baguettes and a small roast) after 45 minutes I can't fault it and my bacon and brie baguette was delicious but please have some more staff available .

Worst pub in Bedford omg popped in for a bit of Saturday afternoon lunch with my husband and two children one autistic 4 year old and one 11 month old baby was told abruptly no prams even though the dinning room was empty then when we orderd our drinks the dark brown haired waiters I believe was the landlady I say the term lady loosely as she was no lady hugged and puffed and acted like taking out drinks order was an inconvenience to her when we asked for a fruit shoot for my four year old I was told “ no we don’t stock them as they are high in E number and it will make him run around everywhere “ clearly she thinks I’m a rubbish parent then because we have taken my four year old to her pub for lunch we were then given some nasty cheap ass cartoon of juice that was full of sugar but a cheap cash and carry one . Then when we ordered our food she was rude and seemed like she didn’t want us there . When I orderd a bacon burger I also asked for a side of gugamole she snapped saying “instead of what “ ? I replied “ no just an extra thank u “ . She then rolled her eyes and walked off but insisted on bending down and picking up a bit of rice cake my 11 month old has just dropped like he was an animal ! When Our food eventually turned up my order was wrong. When I complained to the chief which I thought was strange never heard of a cheif being a waiter too lol I had to make it clear I had order a bacon burger not a cheese and bacon burger like my husband . The idiot landlady/ waitress stormed over and rudely told me we had orderd two cheese burgers and that is what she had heard which I made clear is incorrect as I’m allergic to cheese . I felt so uncomfortable and unwelcome I just wanted to get out of that pub when my food eventually turned up for the second time my husband and my four year old had finished their dinner I also noticed my gugamole was missing but felt so exhausted from the confrontation precious I gave up I took a bite into my burger omg it was a grease ball it was tasteless , bland and just pure grease in fact the grease pouring out of it was luminous orange by now we were fed up so I went up to the bar to get our bill and also made it clear I’m not paying for my burger that was so bad I couldn’t eat it . Surprise surprise the chief who can’t cook served me when I asked for the bill but also spoke about the issues we had and I made it clear I want my burger off then I’ll because it was that bad he and the landlady both became very argumentative and aggressive towards me and tried to charge me for the burger and I had to yet again make them amended it the ladlady kept dismissing me then interrupting myself and the chief she was incredibly rude and also found her tone very threatening! Don’t go here if u like food u can eat and actually is worth value for money I would highly recommend the ship and the Gordon arms amazing pubs which great food and staff something the pheasant has neither of ! The landlady is short of a screw loose cant wait to see the lease up for sale board !!!!! Will never return and will advise anyone to stay well clear of

I visited this pub on Friday 18th May in the evening and found the service to be indescribably poor. Two people were at the bar serving drinks and food when there was a queue of about 12 people, they could have called some waiters to help out as there must have been 2 tills that weren’t being operated and could of been used. It became apparent that the pub is understaffed with being told that if we are eating outside, we would have to come in when our buzzer went off and collect the food ourself, what’s the point of having a waiter then? We were a big group, which meant that we ate at different times, not very convient when I had to wait 1 hour and 30 minutes for my main whilst everyone else had finished. To make matters worse, I was told that there had been a mistake however the person who took my order didn’t own up to this but instead had her daughter come out and explain the situation, own up to your own mistake! You are the land lady! To add to this, they clearly forgot I was having garlic bread with my meal leading them to bring out one slice of garlic bread which was burnt and salad with my meal. I was not impressed, the daughter luckily knew that this food wasn’t edible in the slightest and brought out a fresh bowl of garlic bread. Overall I would not visit this pub again and highly recommend going elsewhere, maybe the refurnished Bluebell on Putnoe Lane.

We have always liked my local pub/restaurant, however since the change of landlady things have slowly began to deteriorate. The menu is over 3 years old, many promises from the new landlady to introduce a new menu have not materialised, the menu cards are tatty and dirty, the table tops require refurbishing, just sanding and revarnishing would make so much difference. All were perfectly cooked and finished off with the 2 yorkshire puds and beautifully cooked veg and roasties. Our young lad had the beefburger, which was rather undercooked but the owner was genuinely apologetic and this was replaced with bigger and better in a short space of time. He polished off the lot.We decided not to have dessert, but did look a the menu - which resulted in all 5 of us having the desserts we had earlier decided against as we were so full from the dinner. All were delicious - cheesecake, lime meringue pie, fruit salad (not much to go wrong there, but the accompanying mango sorbet was very refreshing). The creme caramel lacked the "Bake Off" wobble but tasty nonetheless. Good service throughout.Pay your tip in cash though - they cant include it on credit card payments. Will definitely return.

Over the years we have visited this establishment for lunch. I have just seen that my last review was in February this year when I suggested that the food and the service was a good as previously. At that time the new landlords had just moved in.We visited again this week and a couple a months ago during the summer. That visit we both chose to order a Ploughman's Lunch. These consisted of a large 'chunk' of cheese, lots of silver skin onions, a small bowl of pickle all served with a salad and one small, bake yourself type bread role. We asked for a second role as the food served far exceeded the quantity of the other food. We originate from Lincolnshire and we know that a 'ploughman's' is simply bread, cheese and a pickled onion, originally raw onion. My wife and I liked different aspects of the food served and therefore 'swopped' foods so that we had more [a reasonable amount] of what we liked. Cheese was the only food which was sufficient and to charge an extra over the £9.50 for an additional ordinary bread bun is simply profiteering. On our most recent visit the bar was full due to a funeral but the dining area was only a third full. We were shown to a table having had to order our drinks and food at the bar, something we have never had to do before. They were short of staff but with a small number of people and sitting in the dining area there was no excuse for the slow service. We both ordered the 'All Day Breakfast'. The previous landlords had served this all the time they had been at the Pheasant, and previously when they were at the Cross Keys in the town centre. It is with regret that I have to inform other customers that the quality of this meal has declined significantly. This is not the establishment it used to be and the landlords need to take some drastic actions to improve both their service and the quality and value of their food. When we first arrived it was suggested that we should have booked, as if we were naughty children! Why! We will never book for lunch and not at an 'ordinary' pub for ordinary food. In fact the quality of the food has also declined significantly from our previous visits and we will not be returning any time soon!

Found this pub whilst browsing the Internet. It looked nice from the pictures as there was a child friendly garden outside. Which we thought would be great to keep the kids occupied (Ages 5,4 and 2).Turned up to the place and it looked fairly quiet for a Saturday afternoon. Which I thought was strange.Walked in the pub and asked for drinks. The girl who served us (darker skin) was very unpleasant and made no effort to welcome us ... OR EVEN SMILE!!We then went out in the garden and let the kids play on the play area and bouncy castle. Then a woman comes over shouting saying children need socks on the bouncy castle!?Hmm it's about 24 degrees ,what children want to wear socks in this heat as most children (including mine ) were wearing sandals. It's just to get customers to buy the socks they have for sale! Ridiculous. The land lady (which I agree with most other comments on here) is a very rude stuck up horrible woman.Needless to say we will not be returning here again. The staff all need to sort their customer service skills out or this place will definitely go down hill.(which by the other comments and how quiet the place was it most likely already is).

Within the first two minutes of arriving we were made to feel very unwelcome by one particular staff member. The experience then snowballed into an hour and a half of issues and poor service. This ended with the original staff member lying to me repeatedly and saying there was no manager on site to speak to. As I eat out a lot i have seen many levels of service however I felt this was the worst experience I had had visiting a family friendly pub. I was charged full price by said member of staff and given a very insincere 'sorry'. I left the pub furious.I was followed to the car park by another woman who asked me if i was looking for her. She was the manager...who i had been told was not there...and she asked me to explain what was the issue. When I started to explain, she asked me to stop so she could go and get the landlord so that he could hear my issues first hand. When they were both back in the car park, they stood patiently, quietly and calmly listening to the experience i had just had. Being that I was furious, I found this really helped me calm down. When I was finished, they couldn't have been nicer, more professional or more apologetic. They sat down with me and took all the details, talked through what they are facing as the new owners and the work they are doing to turn it into a brilliant family pub. They also insisted on giving me a full refund. I don't think I needed a full refund as they food was very nice but they insisted and thanked me for taking the time to give them the details so that they can use the information to keep improving. I think the quality of customer service and a customer centric business can only truly been seen when dealing with customer dissatisfaction and they have excelled themselves. They managed to changed my mind from 'I'm never going there again' to 'I will be back again'. It’s definitely worth a visit and the new management will give it a great reputation.

We sadly / happily had to book a wake following the passing of the father of the family. An initial meeting with Fiona quickly fixed times, requirements, room.Following the funeral we arrived to find everything in place and ready for us.The buffet food was really good - I honestly don't think there was anything left. The staff were attentive and helpful throughout - we arrived at about 3.20pm andthere was still a hardy group going at 10pm + ! Cannot praise them enough. Thank you.

Five of us regularly visited the Pheasant on a Friday evening. We spent on average £70 a visit. Not any more. As customers we expect to be treated as such, not to be thought of as a pain, especially from the landlady, who couldn't even apologise when we were overcharged. We have, like many others, taken our custom elsewhere. It is a shame as 3 of our group live just around the corner. Feel sorry for Nigel.

Taking son and daughter in law out for Sunday lunch. Booked table - all as ready. We ordered from the interesting menu - and our food as on the table within 20 minutes. We had four differing dishes - ranging from fish pie to gammon steak. All were piping hot and very good eating. Sweets followed after - again good eating and promptly served. The restaurant of the pub filled rapidly, and looking around the quality of our service seemed to be maintained. A very pleasant meal in comfortable surroundings - the piped music was not too intrusive in the eating area. We would definitely be repeating our visit to this attractive pub - with plenty of parking and a good childs play area.

Myself and my brother decided to go out for a drink. So we went into the pheasant. I haven't been in since its been taken over by new management. Once in the premises I made my way to the bar, the pheasant wasn't busy but I had to wait at least 15mins to get two pints of lager. It amazed me I had to wait this long considering there was 5 staff on. Only to be shocked that when another customer went to the bar he got served straight away. After questioning the staff on why I had to wait this long I wasn't given a satisfactory answer. I was then approached by the landlady who in my opinion was extremely rude, patronising and arrogant. I'm not one to complain but never in my day will I return.I'm glad I'm not the only person to write a review stating the same.Unfortunately the bad reviews out way the good. It's a shame after all the hard work Richard and Kath put in over the years has been obliterated in a few months

Called in mid day on a Saturday as we were looking for somewhere to have lunch. Not knowing the area we chose the Pheasant and we did not regret our choice. Staff very friendly and helpful, couldn't do enough for you even though they had a big celebration party going on. Food and drinks all very good food cooked as you ordered it and not too long to wait for it. All came out together which was very good for a party of eight.

We have always eaten here quite often and whilst the pub has new landlords the food side of things has remained excellent. Our complaint would be that whilst we have eaten there a few times since it has changed hands we still do not know who the new landlords are. They have never come over during our meals and asked how things were or introduced themselves. Its a shame they don't feel they should spend time getting to know their clientele and giving a more friendlier, personal service.

Popped down with the wife and family members to listen to the Soulman. The pub is under new management who look to be a nice couple. Some of the staff where a bit slow when serving but that did not take anything away from the sounds of the Soulman. Great songs from yesteryear.

Visited The Pheasant with my friends last night to watch The FA Cup Final, thought it was a bit odd that a pub was so quiet especially as it was playing the final on multiple screens and it was pay day weekend but I was happy that I didn't have to wait 3/4 hour to get a round like normal! Staff seemed friendly and when food was ordered it came very quickly so no complaints there! As I drove to the pub I thought I would leave my car there and have a few drinks after all we had to celebrate the win, on leaving the pub in a taxi I noticed that they lock the car park at night which eased my mind about leaving my car. The sign's state that it is locked between 11.30pm and 7am which is brilliant as I would be collecting my car about 8! Woke this morning to a lovely day so decided I would walk from Clapham back to the pub, when I finally got there I had 15mins until I had to be somewhere with is only a 5minute drive away so was perfect timing until to my horror it was still locked! So I pull up the website and rang the number, the first time it rang twice then cut off the second time it was If some one had answered then went to an automated message then the third was the same! Started panicking about being late so rang my friend to see if she had already left to come rescue me as I wouldn't of made it in time even if I ran! Thankfully she was just about to leave so she collected me!Went back at 9.30 and the car park was finally open! If you are going to lock the car park please re open at the time stated! If it's too early to unlock at 7am on a Sunday morning change the time!!

We had a lovely cocktail today whilst the kids enjoyed the Urban Safari charity event. After eleven years of custom and never writing a review, i am unfortunately driven to writing this review. After years of amazing service from cathy and richard. It is with great regret The pheasant can no longer be seen as a family friendly pub. The land lady is patronising, and rude. Some of our party was over charged for food, the rest having to deal with food worth half the price ! The food was very slow getting out and if you feel the need for using cutlery, then you have to find that yourself ! . Children were asked to leave the bouncy castle, even though they complied with the age rules. As for the age rules beware!!! , apparently two thirteen year olds and a fourteen year old children cannot, under the supervision of an adult.order chocolate cake desert from the food till. Disappointed is an understatement and with regular parties of 25+ we are looking elsewhere. Visit this public house at your peril. You have been warned

We have been visiting the pheasant as our local for over 11 years and regularly pop in for food as it's always been good and been a nice atmosphere which welcomed and responded positively to customers. We and our friends are all families and spend a fair amount of monies when we're eating out there. We've visited several times both as a family or couple on our own and as part of larger groups since the new owners have taken over and each time come away a little bit more disappointed. We attended the soul man night and waited almost an hour and a quarter for our food - not an overall problem and we were happy to bear that as the music and food were good. Several of our party that night were spoken to rudely by the landlady and we were a little unsettled that at no point did she stop to ask if we wanted photos or videos of us taken - it's polite to ask isn't it? We spent in excess of £400 that night which I'm sure is good for business. We've been in lots of other times and again just experienced a change in the atmosphere that has deteriorated each time. I mean the previous landlord and landlady could have their moments but their attention to customer satisfaction and courtesy was good so niggles were not an issue. Now however under current management, there have just been so many unreasonable opportunities for the landlady to be rude that it's putting lots of people off going there. We went there around 6 pm on a Saturday recently for a meal - ourselves and two children - it was the quietest I have EVER seen it at that time - perhaps a taste of the decline that is occurring. Today as a large respectful and polite group of collective families who sat outside as a get together to celebrate an event, eating and drinking and keeping ourselves to ourselves and no bother - really disappointed. It's a real shame to see and it seems if you do raise any issues then beware. Pheasant management - this is a lovely pub with a huge amount of trade and profit available for you easily. Please don't alienate the very hands that contribute to to the success through your rudeness, pedantic approach or lack of staff working to clear away and the like. Shape it up please otherwise people will have to look elsewhere which is a shame.

After moving back to the area we decided as a family of 7 to pop in to our local. My last visit here some 12 months ago before the take over was unpleasant to say the least but hearing of new management I thought we should revisit. My party consisted of an unhappy husband that had been shopping for the last three hours my young niece and nephew my 90-year-old mother and three other family members all now very hungry . On approaching the door I could see it was extremely busy but well-managed but full. we were greeted with a "hello everybody" as we stepped through the door which you don't get these days in pubs. I asked in desperation if we could have a table but was informed they were fully booked at present, and there would be a wait. With this I turned to my slightly frail only slightly frail mother and advised her we could not get in to eat at which point she announced that she would need to eat shortly as she needs to take medication. Before I could answer her a young lady was at her side introducing herself as the landlady and asking my mother if she would like a coffee and some light snacks. My mother took this kind offer. It was very obvious the landlady had heard my mothers conversation with me. She appeared minutes later with a try of snacks for all of us of which my husband was eternally greatful for men! And asked if we're happy to wait 15 minutes and she would try to accomadate us. We watched as a team of 4 delivered food that smelt amazing as it wondered passed us, busy but staff were interacting with customers atmosphere was great with music to make you think your at a posh hotel. The landlady seemed to know every customer as she walked through the restaurant. One of the young ladies then approached us to ask if we would like to see menus and order so that food would be quick once we were seated as they were just sorting our table out. I think their focus was to ensure that my mother and our younger guests got food quickly due to age and health. We were treated like royalty showed to our table food took ten minutes to arrive it was a fresh and they even ensured my fussy husband had the extra gravy he wanted. The pies here are to die for and the pizzas are fresh with real cheese. My sister in law, then announces that she thought this would be an ideal place for her 30th anniversary meal out and asked the landlady if she could accommodate this for us at which point we were told that on that night there will be a soul singer on!!!!! Can't ask for more booked up this time in advance. I have read some reviews the last one and it's very apparent it's a fake review by another local pub. This pub needed change, previously no music miserable staff and owners before so so rude !! well done Charles Wells for finding this young lady and I'm sure the landlord is lovely to. My advice book in advance, go on the text alert for events fab idea. Very happy new customers. . Sorry about my husband very fussy but thank you for putting up with him !!!

Being a local to the pheasant pub for over 10 years it makes me very sad the new management have ruined the great atmosphere and wonderful pub Kathy and Richard worked so hard to create. The land lady was rude and abrupt to me whilst serving like she couldn't be bothered because we were young customers even though we were respectful and polite. After that service we went somewhere else after one drink. On another occasion My partner had a meal at the pheasant he said the food was great but the land lady was extremely rude and unwelcoming on serving them.My most recent experience is booking a family funeral at the pheasant which we booked the dates but we're advised to call back once we knew numbers. On calling back the land lady stated they had given our slot to someone else!! Uncompassionate, unforgivable and disgusting customer service!! I must confirm that 1. I was polite on all occasions and 2. I was never asked to leave (after reading these other reviews this appears to the land lady's most common excuse) It makes me sad that I am no longer a valued customer to the pheasant and I dread to think what will happen to this once friendly lovely pub!! Bluebell it is!

Poor quality service and terrible organisation. For a booking made 3 months in advance, they had sufficient time to plan properly. Dinners delivered to the wrong people, several tables waited almost an hour for food and drinks, other diners not associated with our group were seated in the middle of the group and left to feel uncomfortable...not sure I need to say more!Several diners asked to speak with the manager and were attended to by a rude and aggressive landlady who challenged them to "do better". Interesting and engaging way to secure continued custom. Perhaps a staff shake-up would help? The bar staff were friendly, but clearly embarrassed. Perhaps someone will notify the brewery since ultimately, it's them that are represented in situations like these.A note to the brewery - several diners have complained. Your representative has seen fit to call the customer directly to complain about the negative reviews after each review has been left. This is not acceptable. I will be writing to you under separate cover to ensure your attention to this matter.

One of a party of about 35 for Sunday lunch. Booked about three months prior. Main meals ordered and paid for in advance. Not seated together, our table of ten got our first meal three quarters of an hour late, by the time the last one came out, for a child nonetheless!, several of us had finished. One staff member very rude. Landlady blamed my mum, whose 80th it was, for wrong table plan. Said our table was supposed to be for four. So why was it set for ten? Surely not rocket science to check when we came in and then serve table by table rather than random meals coming out for different tables. Maybe the landlady was too busy to do this, instead spending time faffing about with the net curtains and putting up signs advertising glitter tattoos! And then when a bad review was put up on Trip Advisor she rang my mum and had a go! Very unprofessional. Won't be returning

As part of the same party as the previous reviewer, I concur with everything that he has said. We were seated spread out throughout the restaurant, they were unwilling to move tables, waited a long time for any service, reasonable food was delivered to tables in dribs and drabs - 20 minutes between first and last! However, I'm writing this review because of the fact that when Fiona, the landlady at the Phesant, read the previous review she phoned my 80 year old Mum to complain causing the birthday lady great stress- She had the gaul to say that she didn't think we had even left a tip but had found out later we had ( a very generous one actually £60! - I wouldn't have). The party booking was taken several months ago and they could have turned it down ...unhelpful from beginning to end, a long time producing menus (no pricing given) and then demanded full payment for main meals a week before. There were 12 families at our event and I'm fairly certain that none will be returning

Today we went to the pheasant for my nans 80th birthday celebrations, there were around 35 of us in total and I have to say the service was terrible. On our particular table the first meal was served around an hour late and we didn't see another meal for ten minutes, the rest of the meals came out in dribs and drabs apart from my son's which was another ten minutes. The children's meals were also incomplete. As one of the meals came out one of our party commented to the waitress that "this is a farce" to which the rude waitress replied "I would like to see you do better" unbelievable, no apology no explanation just blatant rudeness. My son's meal was finally delivered after I had finished mine and I have to say the food was very good if a little peppery. We then waited for another 15 minutes for our drinks. The owner came over to us and I mentioned the problems we had had. She basically blamed my 80 year old Nan for giving her incorrect info on the table plans which wasn't true. She also said that not many places would take a booking of this size ?? The booking was made around 3 months ago which gave her ample time to organise things. I would not go back in here again and would advise any large parties to avoid the place as they clearly can't cope.

Possibly the best kebab I’ve ever had. Instead of serving in a standard pita they hand make a naan and cook in front of you which tastes superb, plus the amount of meat and salad added is both sizeable yet appropriate. There’s a few tables for dining in which were clean and the staff were friendly enough. This will be my kebab place of choice from now on.

Oh Dear, another Pub totally unaware of the current disability regulations. There isn't a ramp, there are even any same level flooring, upon enquiring with one of the staff regarding access to the premises, by one in a wheelchair, we were curtly reminded that this was a traditional Public House, who don#t cater for those with mobility issues! Such a shame as my friend had his legs blown off in Afghanistan, and is a hero.

What a disappointment - we went to the pumpkin patch with 3 grandchildren. The activities there were not well maintained, on the Mini Tractor Trail the tractors would not move due to being placed on damp lumpy grass, the Spooky Mini Golf had definitely seen better days. We paid an extra £5.99 per child for Chocolate Apple Dunkin when booking online which consisted of a very small apple on a stick which was then dipped in chocolate and sprinkles
