Awful food, fish was over cooked and dry, batter was like rubber no crunch at all.. the savaloy ive never seen anything like it looked totally inedible so it wasnt eaten. Food arrived just warm which also made the chips taste awful

Took the bag off the delivery guy, thinking oh this is heavy definitely not my order. Nope it was. Gosh the portion size was great!! Definitely worth the money, tasted great too.

Great value for money as always 10/10 but please add cheesy chips on the menu! Cheers boss!

Soggy fish and chips, not tasty. Burger and kebab ok

By the time the order got to us it was sooo cold. Way beyond delivery cold, it wasn’t wrapped for delivery either really. But it tasted as if it had been sat for a really long time. I live 5 minutes from the chip shop by vehicle so no reason for the food to be inedible

Mi marido acaba de traer a casa una porción de patatas fritas y salchichas rebozadas de este restaurante. ¡Solo puedo describir esta comida como absolutamente de rango! Las patatas fritas sabían como si hubieran sido cocinadas en aceite viejo húmedo y gomoso de hecho lo hicieron incluso sabían a patatas fritas. Las salchichas rebozadas bien que simplemente no sabían a nada la salchicha era difícil junto con la masa que ni siquiera se parecía a la masa. 80 gastados en comida asquerosa no comestible. Desafortunadamente tuve que dar una estrella que no merece, pero de lo contrario no pude publicar esto.

My husband has just brought home a portion of chips & battered sausages from this restaurant. I can only describe this food as absolutely rank! The chips tasted as if they had been cooked in old oil wet and rubbery in fact they didn’t even taste like chips. The battered sausages well they just tasted of nothing the sausage was hard along with the batter that didn’t even resemble batter. £7.80 spent on disgusting unedible food.

Fab meal, really tasty! Hot enough too. I’d requested deliver ASAP and it arrived before its ETA (as always on Just Eat the ETA initially given is then extended by at least half and hour, but in reality this restaurant still held to original time and was great). Delivery man was really friendly and cheerful, all round very pleased 👍 will definitely order here again.

First order from here that I have ever had an issue with. Batter was soft on fish and sausages and food warm not hot. Normally crispy and fresh

Bought food on Sunday... the only food we'd eaten that day ... Chicken pie was freezing in the middle. Kebab seemed reheated. whole family had sickness and diahorrea. So sad to see family in so much pain.

Bit disappointed with the service, I called to place an order, which was a fairly large order. I asked for the chips to be well done and was told that this is not possible. I asked why, and they said because they always fry the chips in big portions, I asked if its possible to do a smaller portion instead, just for me, and I was told that they could not do that. I then had to cancel the order. I guess it was too much to ask for 🤷‍♂️

First time coming here and can say I’m never coming again food was so bad and chips were like they were made a week ago but just fried again, they were not edible. Do not recommend

Chips were a mix of super soggy and oily and many were burnt both inedible, chips that weren’t either of these were ok. Large haddock was definitely not very large for the price, batter wasn’t very crispy but tasted ok. Bartered sausage batter also not crispy. Nice curry sauce

fish was lovely so was the battered sausage and curry sauce but the chips were horrible. also I requested delivery but was put down for collection which I was unable to do due to disability. not surebif I would use them again.

Extortionate prices for tiny portions, our savaloy was basically water, £8,50 for a tiny pitta bread with about 5 cubes of lamb in, the large chips we ordered was more like a small, and the food was cold when it arrived later than it suggested.

Friendly and large portion, nice to us even though we ordered late and came close to closing time…definitely going there again

only issue I had was ordered what I thought was a large portion of dynamite ended up with a portion of Donnor meat and chips so ended up with an extra portion of wasted chips

food was too greasy, lots of chips were black inside and needed to be thrown away

the chips looked dead it's like they had been sitting in the bottom of the fryer for about a week they tasted horrible and looked grey and black they were not edible if I'm honest

Everything ordered was spot on, all meats and fish had so much flavour too! Couldn’t fault it at all.

Food was nice, careful when ordering the kebab, I thought I ordered salad with extra onion, all I got was kebab with onion, it was like getting steak in pepper sauce and only getting the sauce, sadly my mistake, the cat enjoyed it anyway, so it didn't go to waste, just be careful everyone

Lamb wrap wasn't edible , everything needed microwaving as it was cold, this wasn't surprising as it was out for delivery for nearly 40 minutes. Won't be ordering again .

The chips was yesterdays and re fried rang up the restaurant and he said sorry it’s because of the weather. All chips have black stuff on and there not nice white and fluffy as there supposed to be if you gone send out rubbish just shut down mate because they look hideous forget the taste I don’t even wanna go near them if that’s what you call chips then forget it Bedford by your self a chip fryer ans stick to him because this is a not acceptable

For a chip shop this was not proper battered cod. Not sure what this was around the fish.

Haddock Fish and Chips was not fresh, and fish was burnt in places, fish bites were good, tartare sauce is Heinz sachet

Worst fish and chips I’ve had. Fish was flat, not very cold, chips were chewy. Also extremely expensive for what it is. Best part of the order was the free pepsi max. Will never order from here again.

Food and service are very good. Such friendly and kind people working here. They went out of their way to correct our order, even when we said not to worry about it. Would definitely eat here again and recommend to others.

Order large chips. I would say they were medium at best . The kebab was good. But forgot to put any peppers in. With the order. This will be my last order. As they have done this before to me .

This is our go-to chip shop, always brilliant food! They listen to our special requests each time, the delivery driver always greets me with a friendly smile and the food is always hot. No complaints at all. Cheers! x

Decent local fish and chip shop. No nut oils used (useful for those with nut allergies). Very warm in there though, particularly on hot days, so may wish to wait outside whilst food is being prepared.

Ordered the doner kebab as I love them! But sadly this isn’t one to have again, it just seemed to lack flavour and was very boring as a kebab. We ordered a large cod and there were four bones in it, I know you can’t always be safe with fish but when it’s four you start to think did they even look! The chips were average nothing bad but nothing good just your plain old chip shop chips. Delivery however was perfect arrived 30 minutes before it was estimated to do that was very good.

Do think there food has gone down hill . Chips Portions are getting smaller. Especially when a let order . Don't order from here anymore. As they don't care about there customers.

Not so great this time sadly. First to say is last times meal was great, but the fish was extremely over done this time so that the batter had to be broken apart not cut to get through it and it was quite inedible to be honest. The fish was then very over cooked and so dry - not a pleasant experience to eat - I was hungry and didn’t want to waste my money as having a takeaway is a treat to me so tried but didn’t eat it all in end had to pick out what was salvageable. I’d say for me that the fish is the main part of the whole meal too and certainly most expensive part, so this basically spoiled my dinner. Will say chips were really nice again though and the mushy peas were fine so no complaint on them at all. Would try again possibly having had lovely first meal from here, but would be 2 strikes and out if happens again to be honest. Shame.
