We have visited the Pepperpot on several occasions and it's always as good as the last time. They use butcher sausages, free range eggs & decent bacon. I very often have the spinach omelette which is delicious .Good cup of tea as well!! The staff are friendly and always on their toes.

Popped in for a spot of lunch on a visit to Southend. Very friendly welcoming staff. Good choice on the menu. Food and drinks served quickly and efficiently. Very good quality and value! Highly recommended.

It's 2 years since I was last working in Southend and had need of a café local to where I was working. I was very pleased to see that The Pepperpot was still thriving and offering excellent food and great service at a very reasonable price. It is a cafe and not a restaurant but it is spotlessly clean, the food is great and the service is of the 'with-a-smile' type. Excellent value for money.

Really love this café, the food is delicious and has the best breakfast (and I've tried most others!). Service is great and the staff are very welcoming. Lovely tea and coffee too and food is always cooked to your preferences. Have been here for breakfast and lunch and it's always great. Would recommend.

Friendly staff and great food. Homemade soup was delicious. Sausages from local butchers which are so tasty. All food freshly cooked. Highly recommended.

Fresh breakfast,nice portions.cooked lovely.clean and reasonably priced.will make this my regular cafe now.its a must try cafe.and you won't regret the food or the healthy options available.10/10.

I just popped in here as I fancied tea and cake but unfortunately there was no cake today... but the staff were so lovely and gave me a choice of biscuits that they had which was so thoughtful and just filled a hole.... probably best for the old waistline anyway! If you're just coming in for a coffee it's not particularly comfy to sit and read but I'll definitely be back for a breakfast they smelled delicious whilst I was there and from other reports they sound divine!

Popped into here for breakfast as we had room only at our hotel. Food served quickly, servings were massive and they catered for my request of a fried egg on top of beans on toast (which wasn't on the menu). Clean, tasty and very good value for money. I'd definitely recommend and go back. A real winner!

Have been here many times for a Saturday morning treat. Lovely staff and great food. The breakfasts are all fab but the omelettes are just out of this world. Good value too.

The pepper pot does THE best cooked breakfast ...fresh sausages from the local butcher and cooked to order with an offer of free tea and coffee! All for £4.95The menu also has a good choice of other breakfast options for if you're feeling guilty and want something more healthy.Fresh salads and sandwiches and sometimes home made cakes and bread pudding.I am from southend but live in London but whenever I do get home I always go here for breakfast .....oh and the staff are lovely ...the owner very chatty.

This cute cafe serves the usual builders grub aswell as healthy modern dishes, they cater to my needs and keep me topped up when I am working from there without even needing to ask. They even let me pre order when I am busy. Its child friendly which means I can catch up with friends whilst i work and their bubbas can play.
