Went for brunch always friendly food lovely

First time at this little gem can not fault anything the food was lovely the service was spot on and the prices very reasonable definitely come again

Have eaten breakfast and lunch here. Very nice food and service. It is small so recommend booking. They have live? music some evenings I think, which sounds like fun.

Visited for brunch with a friend as we wanted somewhere away from the hustle of Leigh Broadway. Sat outside in the lovely warm September sunshine. The staff are friendly and accommodating and the menu small enough not to overwhelm with choice. What we ordered we were both more than happy with and thought it was great value for money and came up well presented and hot. A drinks menu would be a useful addition rather than having to go through the offerings each time a customer asks. Will definitely be returning with hubby soon for breakfast or lunch. Chips fabulous!!

Took the Mrs for a Birthday lunch. We reserved a table, so we weren't dissapointed at not being able to eat. Mrs had ham, egg and chips - the chips were AWESOME - I had to steal one from her just to try them. I had piri-piri kebabs - SUPERB, Cuban inspired rice was really tasty and salad was very good. A few beers and a cocktail completed our meal. Had visited before, but not been since Covid shenanigans, but will definately return more often :-)

A quick ‘Google’ for ‘cafe near me’ revealed this lovely little cafe/bistro. It was a spontaneous Sunday afternoon visit. We hadn’t booked but got lucky and grabbed a nice table near the open doors (lovely on a sunny day). Anyway, Sunday afternoons are ‘specials only’ rather than the usual menu. It worked well for us as my son had a wonderful roast beef meal and my wife and I had salads. The food was truly splendid and the staff were pleasant and helpful. It’s a great find for us as we don’t live far away. We’ll definitely come again. I’m told that it’s wise to call first to reserve a table as it’s understandably popular. Thanks for a great experience.

I have visited this place today and it was awful, I ordered some dish that had only little amount of rice, little amount of sauce and 3 pieces of meat,The dish itself was £12.50 which was way too much for amount of food I received,I also ordered and paid for can of coke which I didn't get as it was take away,no cutlery or napkins,what a shame, won't go again

Went for breakfast with a friend, we were served by the lovely Siobhan. She made sure we had everything we asked for and the food was great, so compliments to the chef also! Will definitely be going in there again! Thanks guys!

Lovely clean cafe but sadly let down with some of the food. Ie Chips (although hand made) were disappointing soggy and not too appealing. The fried breakfast was a let down. Cooked too quick and left to dry out under heat lamps. Toast looked like it was done in a Panini press and not too pleasant. Had to return burger as it was burnt and Christy. Staff were friendly and attentive but our food was not as nice as previous visits. Ps Burnt burger was refunded with no hesitation but it’s a nice lunch I was after not a free one.

This restaurant is fantastic With a Cuban vibe and a great atmosphere it where you want to luncheon Love the music playing just puts you in a upbeat happy mood Beautiful outdoor space or equally nicely decorated indoors The menu is vast and the food is immensely delicious I had a jacket potatoe that was huge with a crisp outer jacket but piping hot fluffy interior it came with a really tasty side salad And a fab selection of hot and cold or alcoholic drinks Dog friendly which is massive plus with a cute Stand Inside selling yummy biscuits and treats for your pooch Service was with a beautiful smile and very well timed Not too slow not to rushed I shall be making my way through the menu and am most looking forward to a return visit Very soon.

Made a late booking for the Sunday roast spoke to the lovely Wendy the manager, over the phone she done everything she could to accommodate myself and partner. What a lovely warm welcome we got. We were welcomed like old friends. The food was amazing home cooked hot food. It felt like going to someone’s house for Christmas Day. Can’t recommend this restaurant highly enough. The service was spot on, the staff lovely and welcoming and the atmosphere was relaxed and spotlessly clean. The prices were reasonable. We enjoyed a lovely beef roast with all the trimming including extra gravy, follows by aunties homemade pavlova. I don’t normally leave reviews, but felt I had to after visiting this gem of a place. Which I found via trip advisor so thought only fair for me to also report back after my Visit. If your near or staying in Southend and don’t visit this restaurant your be sorry. Visited cubanos for Mother’s Day Sunday lunch. Did not disappoint. Despite the place being packed, service was quick, efficient and friendly. Choice of roasts, beef, chicken, turkey and three or four other choices, so everyone was happy, Huge portions, plenty of veg and great value. Desserts are amazing. Will be returning.

Another hidden gem in Leigh on sea. Had a lovely birthday meal out at Cubanos with friends , everyone had great food wonderful service at a good price . Keep up the the good work guys . We'll be back

Went for Sunday lunch with my friend. The roast was delicious, the roast potatoes were the best I’ve ever had ( and I’ve had a lot in my 65 years ) The beef was tender , generous portion sizes and the extra jug of yummy gravy was good for gravyholics like myself ! Wendy’s raspberry jam sponge with custard was divine , so light and fluffy . Love the music and the whole vibe , one very happy ( full tummed ) customer 👍😋

We had dinner on Saturday, the food was excellent, service was really good and staff very nice. This was our second visit and there’ll definitely be a third.

My husband and I visited with another couple on a Saturday night, we received a very warm welcome, and our drinks order was taken promptly. For starters we decided to go for Tapas and try a few different dishes, we had (apologies I’ve pasted this from their menu) PATATAS BRAVAS , CHORIZO & HALLOUMI, BREADED CHICKEN GOUJONS WITH BBQ DIP & CHEESEY GARLIC BREAD WITH BALSAMIC ONIONS. All of which came out very quickly and freshly cooked as well as delicious. For mains my husband got the steak which was quite a chunk of meat, and the chimichurri sauce complimented it so well he has claimed it may well be the best steak he’s ever had. I thoroughly enjoyed the roast rump of New Zealand lamb marinated in garlic and rosemary and so did our friend who had the same, and her husband had the Half rack of baby back barbecue ribs and chicken wing combo, but he did end up with food envy over the steak. We would absolutely return and have already told everyone we can that it is a fab place for dinner, especially if you prefer a more intimate style of dining.

My husband myself and our daughter had a beautiful tasty lunch here today. The menu had some good choices to chose from all freshly prepared which was good for me as I'm not keen on spicy foods! Had delicious beef with bubble, the beef was so soft and tender with a great flavour. Desert was fruit pavlova which was great! Service with efficient and served with a smile.

Amazing gem of a restaurant! Food 11/10! So grateful to have this within walking distance. Fortunate to have dined here many times. Also had plenty of take outs too. Avocado Eggs best you will find in the land. We were lucky to get in on Sunday for the Roast, there was Beef, Pork and Chicken on offer. Was another level delicious. Never tasted gravy like it! Every mouthful was wonderful. Said to my husband halfway through ‘I don’t want this dinner to ever end’! He agreed! Thank you to the wonderful Team @Cubanos. If you are after Fantastic food, super service and a welcoming atmosphere get yourself a table booked and get down there. You will not be disappointed!

We came for our dear friends 95th birthday, the roast dinner was delicious, the gravy is the best I’ve ever had , in fact the best roast I’ve ever had. The birthday cake was supplied by them and was as good as it looked.It was a great atmosphere, music good , staff friendly and everyone had a lovely time , especially our birthday boy. Myself and my Sister went for a meal on a Friday evening, the food was lovely and the service is always service with a smile. As well as evening meals Cubanos has lovely Breakfasts and Roasts. I recently hired out this lovely place for my Sister's afternoon 60th birthday, the Buffet was fantastic. Its our regular go too place.

We went to this very quirky restaurant in Leigh on Sea on recommendation. It was an amazing atmosphere in a small but buzzing venue. Sally the chef and co owner was amazing. Her food was excellent and cooked to perfection. Her Sister and all the staff couldn’t do enough for us. Sally told us the moving story of how she came to take on this adventure and all I can say is “Sally Dad will be immensely proud” A mention also for the amazing singer ( Lisa I believe) her singing was the perfect accompaniment to our whole night so thank you. We will all be back very soon and couldn’t recommend this restaurant enough x

What can we say about this little gem! Quality produce, fantastic options always cooked exceptionally well and served by the nicest people you could imagine. One of the best eateries for miles.

Fantastic brunch with friends, 3 had breakfast and I had cheeseburger with hand cut chips and homemade coleslaw. Our friends thoroughly enjoyed their breakfast and commented on the quality of the ingredients. Can’t believe we had room for deserts, pavlova to die for, tasty lemon cake and tiramisu. Friendly service as always.

A very pleasant venue to dine at. Food was very well cooked, served by pleasant staff at an affordable price, with a very good menu. I liked the interior decoration, very colourful and interesting, and parking, though limited, wasn't so bad. Recommended!

Visited recently for a Christmas catch up with friends. Food is superb and the service is always wonderful. We all left the restaurant stuffed. The puddings are out of this world 😋. The whole evening was faultless and I can’t recommend this place enough.

Amazing... Third time I have been here. I got there at half 11 between brekkie and lunch but I really wanted the Cuban sandwich (the best type of sandwich) which was on the lunch menu. I was allowed to order that so paired that with a tasty cappuccino and the jug of water they give you.
