Tiene que ser mejores huevos en tostadas que he tenido. Tan sabroso y los huevos fritos como deberían ser. La comida era deliciosa también de los amigos. lástima que no viven cerca menú principal suficiente para tratar en la noche.

Went here for breakfast on a Saturday morning with friends. Breakfast was amazing using local fresh produce and cooked to perfection. It's a little bit more expensive than other cafes locally, however, it is worth every penny.

In the words of Tina Turner, this Cafe, Take Away and Restaurant is "Simply The Best"... Steve and Karen have created a very Original Concept with "Carry Home Cuisine". If you fancy a Take-Away but you don't want the "usual" Indian/Chinese/Italian, they have the answer. If you fancy a "cheeky" Breakfast/Brunch, they have the answer. If you want to dine in, bring your own (with no corkage charge!), try traditional but innovative British Cuisine, in an informal and friendly environment, using the finest locally sourced ingredients.....they are the answer... Recommended by friends we gave this little "cafe" a go and was not disappointed. We were told what to expect but had no idea just how good the place was going to be. On arrival we were slightly apprehensive however our fears were soon washed away by the lovely table setting and greeting by the co-owner. The menu looked very brave for such a small establishment but when it arrived at the table it was truly first class and of a standard served in a high class restaurant but at a fraction of the price. Having the room to ourselves the owner played the music to our taste which made the evening quite special. It was like having your own chef and waiter in your dining room. I would defintitely get yourself booked in and give this place a go. The homemade porkpies are definitely also worth taking home!

I'm somewhat reluctant to share my love of this unique gastronomic delight with everyone as I would very much like to keep the secret all to myself, but it just seems criminal not to pass it on! With locally sourced produce, a selection of subtly brilliant, highly original dishes,cooked to perfection by a very modest chef coupled with delightfully cheery service, Carry Home Cuisine has everything required to be a run away success. The menu is contemporary and makes the very best of the high quality, locally sourced produce. I am not sure of Steve the Chef's kitchen history but I would bet on a few top London restaurants in there. Service is polite and personal and compliments the menu and surroundings perfectly. There is a genuine feeling of passion for what they do at this quaint little treasure of a restaurant. My only worry is that as more and more people discover just how amazing this little place is I am going to struggle to get a reservation! (Thankfully though, they offer take-away so I will never have to miss out on the exceptional food!!) We will definitely be returning soon - no doubt with friends so as to share this treasure!

This is one of the best restaurants in this area. We use it frequently and either eat in or order take out. The food is of an exceptional standard, fresh and beautifully prepared and cooked, the menu interesting and appealing. I particularly like the way it changes seasonally. Nothing ever seems to be too much trouble - We often ask for little tweaks to be made to what we ask for and this is always accommodated. The service is really friendly and you are made to feel welcome and valued. I would recommend Carry Home Cuisine to anyone.

Second time visit. Not disappointed. Great free range and home quinine in very pleasant atmosphere. A great surprise from an unassuming exterior. Highly recommend.

Came in on Saturday last and we each ordered a picnic, what can we say....it was wonderful. The pork pies and scotch eggs were both so good. Fresh and tasty. Beautifully presented with excellent chutneys and pickles. This dish is truly great and I would happily recommend it.

Myself and 7 friends ate in at the Carry Home Cuisine last night. It was an amazing evening, the atmosphere, surroundings and service was of a very high quality, and the food was out of this world. Every meal was delicious.... I can't wait to go back for more.

Have been meaning to try this little Cafe for a while , as i had a menu posted through my door some months back now , So glad i did !! It serves Great food , Very tasty indeed , and The Huffer bread is to die for .Also home made pork pie lovely a must try , Ive heard that the sunday roast is one meal you have to try , So look out , But you have to book they say .Mr G Goddard .

Went here with my mum who is in a wheelchair and my sister for lunch. I have been here before with my partner for a evening meal which was good, so I thought the same standards would apply again. My gosh I was so wrong and amazed by the owner who was so glum and her unfriendly approach to our service and care. I ordered the homemade crumpets the first one which I did eat had a rather sharp taste of baking powder or bicarbonate of soda. When I started to eat the second crumpet the taste was so bad I had to split it out. In no time while we were seated, did the owner come to us to check if everything was ok! When I ask could we have the bill, still was not asked. Because she was so glum we were made to feel very uncomfortable. When the owner returned to our table for payment, I advised her of the strange taste of the crumpets and that it tasted like baking powder or soda. I was informed neither was in there and that I should have told her before I paid the bill. It was done in such a unfriendly and rude manner. I did notice that the two other diners at this place, were at this cafe when I visited with my partner. They are her friends and they got a friendly service and smile. I will never return to this place and be served in such a manner.

We love this place. We have two small children, we do not get much opportunity to dine out but carry home cuisine enables us both to enjoy unique freshly cooked food in the comfort of our own home. Get the kids in bed...warm the plates....light a candle and enjoy!

A group of 9 of us ate here for my birthday meal, our baby was there too to start with (took our own high chair) and we were all very well looked after. We had the place to ourselves and everyone enjoyed the food which was unique, fresh and in a lovely intimate setting. I loved that I could choose my own soundtrack, and the owners added some special surprises to make it really personal. The decorations were modern and lovely and the service was great, fantastic value and I would highly recommend this little gem. I won't waste my money or time on many other places locally - either for a meal, a coffee or a take-away, it's all good!

This place has caring owners who care so much about what you put in your mouth. Tasty quality food that you can enjoy in the comfortable restaurant but it is amazing that ANYTHING on the menu can be ordered as take away!

My daughter was sceptical about visiting this small eatery to celebrate my wife's 50th Birthday. However as I had enjoyed a breakfast here in July and understood an evening menu was available, I thought I would give it a go. I was not disappointed, the starters and mains were exquisite and enjoyed by all the family. Karen and Steve lived up to my hype and contributed to a memorable evening.I will definitely return with a larger crowd either family or friends.Thank you once again

This one suits us best. Its not about it being cheap, because it isn't, its about the quality. In that sense, you are getting what you pay for.Its not slavered in grease, or sauce, or so hidden by spice that you aren't sure what you are eating. the description matches what you get.And it comes with a real sense of relaxed service. Its efficient, without being pretentious, friendly without being over familiar.Definitely one to add to a list of regular haunts.

Went to Carry Home Cuisine for a special occasion dinner. The Restaurant came highly recommended to us and boy we wasn't disappointed. Firstly, Karen was definitely the hostess with the mostest. She had a fun personality as well as giving professional attention to looking after everyone.. As for the food cooked by Steve. Well what can I say. Simply fantastic! He is a super master chef no doubt. Although we are not rich my family have dined, on occasion, in very expensive restaurants. Why pay a fortune you don't need to. Book Carry Home Cuisine now, today even and treat yourself! You take your own alcohol and they supply soft drinks if needed. Do not miss out!

6 of us booked for a birthday/retirement dinner, we had the place to ourselves. You can take your own booze/soft drinks. The mini all day breakfast for starters looked amazing. For mains 3 of us had hanger steak which was definitely one of the best steaks I have ever had. I cant rate this place highly enough. The prices are extremely reasonable and the portions are generous. The little touches (downloading music and a happy birthday sign) were very much appreciated. Karen and Steve are doing an excellent job. They have only been running the place since October and it is already highly ranked on Trip Advisor. I anticipate in 6 months time this place will be No 1 in Southend on trip advisor. I certainly will be going back.

We had their full English breakfast and our daughter had her favourite, a cheese sandwich. Quality local ingredients is the selling point and they so deliver on quality. Friendly service and simple food done right. Recommended for everyone who enjoy something done that little bit better than everyone else.

Popped by this morning for breakfast, having been tempted by the morning menu on my last visit. What can I say. Karen welcomed me back like an old friend, and provided us with great service, and easily the best breakfast I have ever experienced. We all agreed that it was so flavoursome easily the best in Essex. "Gigglypig" bacon, subtle yet complex, YES, I'm saying that about bacon! Not a hint of grease to be found. If you haven't tried it yet, do it now! And yes. I did take a bacon bap for lunch too!

Went for Father's Day lunch yesterday, absolutely fabulous Venison Wellington! I cant imagine getting a better meal if I went to a top restaurant in London.

This is exactly what a Take Away should be.....Great Food, Great Value and Friendly Staff.I Love The Varied Choice of cracking British Food. After a long day at work this is the ideal tonic. Super tasty and healthy British Food.Every time I visit, I am impressed.When the delivery service comes on stream, they will have totally cracked it.Keep up the good work.

I live in the area & often go past but would never think to go in until we got the flier. The wife & I love it, we've been several times now, Steve's food is fantastic, simple, elegant, tasty, I know that I can go there & never be disappointed. At front of house is Karen who can't do enough for you. Just been there with friends today who agree, long may they continue.

I saw a flyer for this in town, and decided to give it a try. Originally I was going to order my Sunday roast, but after looking on Facebook I we decided we may as well save the washing up too! The restaurant has a rustic feel though its impeccably clean and fresh looking. On arrival we were immediately greeted by the waitress, offered coffee and menus as we sat. We skipped the starters opting straight for a main, and that was a good choice. The portion sizes were generous, and well presented. Every morsal on the plate was to die for. The stuffing, the gravy, so much attention to detail and nothing was lagging or behind anything else. One of the best meals I've ever had and definitely the best place east of London!

Had a fantastic sunday lunch. The food was amazing, service was attentive. Unfortunately a very small venue, once this chef and host are given the credit they deserve im sure they will have a fully booked, massive restaurant that I cannot afford.Can't wait to visit again

Went here for a Mother's Day breakfast with family after a recommendation. As a party of 9 we nearly filled the venue but was lovely to sit at a big table together and be able to see each other easily. We chose a variety of different breakfasts from full cooked to mushrooms in creme fraiche with herbs and all thoroughly enjoyed them. My daughter recommends the home made crumpets! Service was friendly and spot on, my 2yr old niece even got to go and visit the chef!I will be returning soon to try a dinner and definitely recommend a visit.

We ordered a take away Sunday roast for the first time this week. I can only say its the best roast I have had in ages, lots of meat, roast potatoes and vegetables, bread sauce, stuffing - and a lovely gravy - all individually packaged. They even gave us a taster of the sweets they do in little boxes. Fantastic!! Will definitely visit again - Maybe for a sit down meal next time.

A wonderful evening out with exquisite food, we couldn't eat it all so even got a doggy bag!! Very friendly staff. We are hooked!!

It was weird visiting carry home cuisine as 6 years ago I run a business from these premises. A friend had been here for lunch and recommended it. As soon as we walked in we were made to feel really welcome, I had a lovely cheese omelette with the best hand cut chips I have ever tasted, the coffee was really good also. I cant wait to go back and try their evening menu. If you want something different give them a try,this place is quality.

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Carry Home Cuisine, we only went for lunch but even the lunch menu was well thought out and delicious. Perfect for a quick lunch if you want to eat lovely food or impress and very good value for money. Need to go back to try dinner!

I am a regular in this wonderful place. I cannot help but go in there for dinner, for a lunchtime fix or even for breakfast - best eggs you will ever eat and that is a promise!! This place has such a lovely story, along with lovely staff and really welcoming customer service. The food is top notch with nowhere else anything like it - very reasonably priced for such amazing food. The portions are generous and each mouthful is something to be cherished. I am so happy I found it! I highly recommend Carry Home Cuisine. I have yet to carry home as I like it so much in there. I stick by it - Miss it, Miss Out!!

I usually cook my own Sunday roast but as I was busy last Sunday I thought I would give Carry Home Cuisine a try to make my life easier.I'm glad I did, popped in and it only took 5 mins to package it up for me. I wanted it cold so I could heat up early evening myself.Two lovely big thick slices of roast beef cooked to perfection, roast potatoes and small cubed parsnip and butternut square cooked in herbs which just needed to be heated in roasting tray. Two plump homemade yorkshires (sorry could only manage one). A generous portion of kale/cabbage that you cook yourself and a pot of delicious red wine gravy. A big glass of Sauvignon Blanc and a dollop of horseradish and it was the perfect end to a Sunday.Thank you Carry Home Cuisine, I shall return.

Any eatery that can take a basic staple meal like a full English breakfast,and turn it into a culinary experience that stays with you all day, really deserves more then a trip advisor review. Every ingredient has its own taste explosion that makes you want the meal to last forever. A cooked breakfast certainly is not just a cooked breakfast where Carry home cuisine is concerned.
