My favourite local pub. Five Points brewery make wonderful beers (the Pale Ale is my go-to), and this pub also always has a good selection of guest craft beers and cask ales. The pizzas are also fantastic.

Cool pub. Great vibe. Excellent beer selection from Five Points and other breweries. Drop Project West Coast IPA pictured. Bar billiards table is very cool, don't see that very often. Staff were a mixed bag, one guy was extremely funny/friendly. His female colleague, however, was grumpy, patronising and lacking in basic social skills. We all have bad days I suppose.

After buying a Pizza directly after my party, their's arrived in a reasonable length of time, by the time they were finishing I went in search of my food! After finally finding an available member of staff, I was offered a Pizza (not quite sure it was my order, as it had salad with it). I asked if it was hot enough, then basically to be asked, feel the tray for yourself...! I then took my Pizza to the table myself- then realising I hadn't been given napkins... went back and was then given the dip that I had already paid for... Not good enough, especially considering the price of the food.

Excellent atmosphere, lovely staff. Please just do not order the double pepperoni pizza. How much pepperoni is too much pepperoni ? Well tonight I finally found my answer. They should put a salt warning on that bad boy, it was a pepperoni nightmare. Great pizza otherwise. Tread cautiously.

Don't mind child friendly but Sundays are like a crèche. Fortunately they've mostly departed by 7pm. Great friendly staff and management, great beer great pizza and great vibes

Love the seasonal selection of beers and ales. Went to visit for St Davids day and enjoyed a couple of lovely Welsh ales. 🐉🍺

Lovely experience , probs the best pizza I’ve had outside of Italy . The evening in this pubs takes you straight back to the 70’s and 80’s with some of the funkiest music from that era played by the in house DJ .

Great local pub. Excellent beers in particular their own Five Points Brewery range. Definitely worth a look. Food looks good - didn't get a chance to try it. Updated August 2023 - great pub with great beers - brewed locally. Very good pizzas. Altogether a good place to be. UPDATE February 2024 - still a cracking place to drink. Great beers and excellent pizza. Get there.

Magnificent as ever. One of the best pubs in London, if not the UK.

This place is a real gem if you're looking to drink cask ales. Excellently kept ales that are hand pumped through a sparkler top. Prices are kept very reasonable and there's usually some good guest beer options on top of the excellent range of Five Points alea. Staff have always been friendly. The venue is clean. What's not to love?

Creepy man at the bar taking pictures and videos of me and my friends. Told the staff about him and said he’s an off duty member of staff and couldn’t serve us as WE we’re causing trouble. Very strange and not experienced anything like this before. Avoid.

A good modern pub, selling fantastic cask ale and new age English beers (Hackney 5 points HQ). Often quite busy and with a mixed bag vibe. A bit disjointed from my experience. More like that of a bar, with little groups spread out. Not too cosy although it is nice and warm and with good lighting. Pizzas seem popular so I assume they're good. Had a solo pint last week and didn't have any patter or niceties with any staff. I've visited a handful of times due to the beer and overall good set up. Good place seemingly to reserve areas as a group.

This pub is fabulous, the vibe was perfect but I wasn’t a fan of either of their IPAs.

My first visit in about 10 years. The pub has moved on from being a Milton brewery outlet operated by Individual pubs to a Five Points outlet. 6 hand pumps with 4 beers plus 14 keg taps. Still definitely worth a visit.

A really nice pub. An old working mens club to be taken over by a trendy brewery could be a recipe for disaster but this is a really nice place. It gets busy but never too busy. The pizza is great. Best of all it has an old bar billiards table, not many of them around anymore, hope it stays there forever

I came here for the pizza, which I was told is the best in London, and while I'm not sure I agree, it's definitely worth the conversation. It was really good. The pub in general has a great vibe, a large indoor area that was buzzing with happy clientele. The facilities were clean, and the staff were for the most part very cool. There seems to be a great sense of community behind and in front of the bar, and they know their beers. Definitely worth the revisit!

Good place for a pint and a pizza. Friendly staff. Efficient service. Excellent pizza, well made crust, good range of veggie , vegan and meat toppings. Interesting range of real beers. Porter particularly fine. Bit noisy but atmosphere good. Recommend

The staff are absolutely incredible apart from the woman behind the bar who is very rude towards children. She is in the wrong industry.

I like this place, during the week there is almost always space to sit and it's relatively quiet to have a convo over a pint.

I would say drinks quite pricey and should have a broader selection of starters/snacks at least some fries. But the garlic pizza bread is quite nice

Good atmosphere, loud and lively on a Friday night with a DJ. Pizzas were ok, a bit light on cheese, and the gluten free base was premade and not great. Nice to have GF beer on tap though.

Despite being right on a really busy intersection, this is a really nice bar, once you get inside it’s airy and tasteful with a great range of cask and craft ales. Pizzas look good too, but wasn’t hungry in the heat #14 #27

A traditional London pub, which is now the home of the Five Points brewery. We speculated that the five points refer to the five roads that meet outside the front of the pub. There are some tables outside the front and side, which are nice to sit at on a sunny summer evening.

Great atmosphere, delicious beer and pizza at fair prices. DJ tunes on Friday night. What more is there to ask for?

Nice pub. The Railway Porter and other Five Points ales were very good and also reasonably priced. Unfortunately, our pizzas were rather burnt. At the time, we thought we could put up with it, but with hindsight, I wish we'd complained. Hopefully, it was a one-off and pizza wil be better next time.

Love the decor in this pub. Also you can get a pint for under a fiver! There's bar billiards. Really fun vinyl Fridays once a month. Great atmosphere. Pizza was ok but not as good as expected though. Really good pub.

I wanted to visit this place for ages and finally went today Didn't know what to expect looking in from the outside but it was chilled cool music with an excellent range of beers and pizza. Will be back again.

A good pub owned by a local brewery. quality beer good pizzas nice atmosphere reasonable prices. Was there for 3 hours lots of people popping in for 1 drink and leaving. Dog friendly too

Does not take cash, card only. Local ales (good), pizza a little pricy but good. Initially very busy (19:30) Got very cold after the early evening families finished food & left (~21:00).

Great boozer, Great pizza and great service! Running a loyalty card at the moment so every sixth pint is free. What a bargain!

What a cool place. The tavern is a beautiful bar, the beers are by five points and other guest breweries. The pizzas were surprisingly good. Really, a great place to go if you are looking for a nice beer or ale.

Love this place so much. Manages to be a proper community pub and a great craft beer bar at the same time. That's extremely hard to pull off.

I have been coming to this venue for decades now. Sad to say that the recent manager has to be the rudest one yet. I will not be visiting here again. Very, very sad move 5 points. ☹️

Have to revise my review. Been drinking in this pub ever since 5 points took it over. What a wonderful pub with wonderful staff. Unfortunately not so nowadays. Staff are exceptionally rude it is just not a nice environment anymore what happened to the family pub that used to be?

Pizza delicious but some bar staff leave alot to be desired with their customer service and the toilets reek. You could smell them from upstairs/above the toilet 🤮 Improvements needed for me to return

A nice pub with a good selection of beer and cider. They also serve really delicious pizzas, especially the double pepperoni! It does get quite busy and the service then becomes a bit chaotic but overall it's a good place for a casual hang out.

I've been going to the Pembury tavern before it was gentrified but now, after a few years and having a kid, we went again for beers and pizza with the little one and a couple a friends with a child. It was 5.30 pm when a really rude bar staff told my partner it was Saturday night "and we don't need this". I understand that not everyone likes kids, but please don't a put a huge sign on your window saying "kids eat free on Sunday" if you're not a kid friendly pub. We've been to many pubs that say "kids are welcome until x hours" and that's totally fair. We didn't have kids for a long time in our drinking/pub lives. But everyone seemed fine (one guy even sat on the floor and played with them) except for that very rude woman.

Large dog friendly pub - we had a table booked for 15 for drinks and pizzas on a Saturday afternoon and we were not cramped. Pizza was exceptional - great flavours and "proper" Neapolitan pizza rather than rubbish bland base. Reasonable beer selection.

There's a wheelchair accessible door here. Didn't check the accessible toilet situation. Really nice pizza.
