Zaza Express in Hackney

I've been working in this area, and i found zaza accidently. I have eaten veggie pizza and it was very tasty.

Delicious pizza, delivered quickly!

Lovely seafood pasta dish !...absolutely loved the Tiramisu!!

Been my favourite pizza place for 5+ years. Fantastic food at a better price than you'll find anywhere else in the area. The Santa Maria pizza and mushroom bruschetta are amazing.

Was not happy about being called and asked to pay an extra £1,50 to the driver because I live further than they normally deliver to. In that case it just shouldn't be listed for my postcode, or it should be shown before card payment

this place has great food but its delivery service is a joke!!! where i live is close to his restaurant and the food came cold!!

Food was cold on delivery and I asked for Parmesan on my food and they didn't put it. Dissatisfied

Pedí una ensalada rústica que supuestamente era considerada como una de las mejores ensaladas y quedé muy descontento cuando llegó. Pagué 8 libras. 15 por unas cuantas hojas de lechuga y casi sin pollo. Parecía que el chef sólo lanzó en lo que puede encontrar. También había en la ensalada. Muy poco la cantidad de comida por el precio. También sabor soso. Nunca se pide de Zaza Express de nuevo.

Lasagna was amazing! But not sure about the bruschetta con fungi, too greasy for me. Service and delivery was absolutely fab

Pizza really really good, much better than the well known chains. Pasta could of had more sauce added. I would definitely order pizza and garlic bread again but not the pasta due to not enough sauce which made it dry.

Extremely disappointing. firstly the food was cold chicken was dry pizza was so so, cake was fine However we specify ordered a veg lasagna BUT received what looked like a meat one when I contacted the shop I was advised that the used ground beef, but beef being against my religion I was in shock and disposed of the meal, dishes & cutlery immediately. I am not impressed and expect a response ASAP

My order was supposed to be here at 6:35. Called at 7 and they said the delivery guy left 10 minutes ago. Not sure why he hadn't even left by the estimated time, but I for one would rather be told an accurate time when ordering than sit waiting for late food. The food eventually came at 7:20, nearly two hours after I ordered it. While the food was still warm and nice enough, I will not subject myself to the wait for it in the future

Brilliant value and quality, as always.

I love Zaza but the portion of my Melanzane was way too small for the price I paid. The container was barely full as it just filled a small plate. Definitely not enough.

Food was absolutely great pizza was nice and light and you could actually taste the ingredients, not like those cheap pizzas with toppings coming off lol will defo be ordering from here again!!

Had a brilliant 14 inch pizza. Service was quick and friendly. Great place to eat in! Would go back again!

Food was almost an hour late and stone cold. Such a shame, when the pizza is actually very good.

The food arrived on time and I was told that everything was there. However as soon as I opened up my bags, I noticed that you left out one portion of potato wedges. After that I tried calling you up and you said that if something like that happened again, then I should tell the driver in advance. However when I asked if you could cook me another portion to make up for the first delivery, you said that you couldn't do anything about it. I am very disappointed with the customer service tonight and I just got £2.99 extra for a portion of potato wedges I didn't get. It might not be much, but I definitely did order it and never got it. You just lost a customer.

I waited longer than I was told the food would arrive. The food was nice however a couple hours after i brought it back up and it was not agreeing with me.

Took over an hour to come after the restaurant already added 20 minutes to the delivery time. No communication following this as the food was then thirty minutes late anyway.

I've been waiting an hour and a half and has not yet arrived. I called on the phone and you answered me very impolite sir. very dissatisfied with the staff.

Probably my favourite pizza in Hackney, especially for the price. Arrived quickly, early even, very friendly delivery driver. Great food as always. Will order again.

Excellent all round! Only tiny complaint: please make your portions of tiramisu BIGGER! At over £3 - it should be. Plus it's absolutely delicious! Keep up the great work.

Great food. Tasty, hot & plenty of it. Even the salad had been made fresh. Delivered early & a really nice delivery guy. I don't live in the easiest place to find & the rider called me as soon as he got to the landmark I'd given in order to meet him there. I know this cause I was already waiting there.

Ordered a 14" pizza and it turned up under 13". Sounds petty but makes a big difference with pizza. It was nice but come on, I ordered a big one for a reason.

Food is nice, establishment is very clean as I have also eaten in and the staff are pleasant and show care towards customer satisfaction, which is always good. The pollo penne and grilled chicken are the best. Their pizzas are lovely, thin and crispy like real Italian pizza should be. Have given three stars for good because five star is always TOP quality and I am yet to find a takeaway service that would be the equivalent of a five star rated hotel; think about it. The service this time with regards to delivery time was an hour and since it was a Wednesday and I only live around the corner, and I am used to the same place delivering within 30 minutes when I call them directly, I'm only awarding one star in this regard. However, overall a great takeaway and if you like thin and crispy pizzas with very flavoursome toppings and nice pasta dishes and lovely barbecue grilled chicken with salad, this is the spot to order from.

well they say it's been delivered... but I'm still waiting. Originally it was coming at 19.15...then 19.45... now at 8pm it's been delivered, but not to me sitting on my doorstep!

Drink was missing. Food not well packaged

The food was nearly two hours late. Was told it would arrive at 9, it came at 10:50. I spoke to someone called Anthony from the restaurant and he told me that I was mistaken and the arrival time was not meant to be 9 o'clock despite me having the 9 o clock time of delivery page saved. The driver was nice about it but 1hr 50 minutes isn't acceptable and the communication was poor with me being accused of making the mistake. A shame because the food tasted good.

Best take away I've had on Just Eat so far. Fantastic prices, fantastic quality, lovely flavours and authentic food. We loved it. We ordered two bruschettas, a pizza and a pasta to share. Absolutely wonderful. Can't wait to order again to try other dishes. Please don't ever change!!

I've ordered from here numerous times and have never been disappointed. The pizzas and pasta dishes are to a really high quality and delivery is always super fast. The best thing is that you can add toppings to any pizza to make it your own. Tasty dishes with fresh ingredients. Will continue to order here when I can't be asked to cook :)

Me encanta la pizza de las bases aquí y la comida es muy, muy barato! El único inconveniente sería que la cebolla caramelised en el queso de cabra parece venir de un tarro y arruinó la sabor para mí. Aunque me encantó la pizza y las bases de peppadew pizza son los mejores!

Terrible service. Called to say they were going to charge an extra fee as it was over 3miles, which is fine, but it's not. It's 2.8miles. I explained I had no cash on me at all, I only had card, which is why I chose to pay by card in the first place. The very unhelpful man on the phone said he would have to charge me a second fee to pay for the delivery by card. I said it was a terrible service and to cancel my order, he then developed an attitude problem. I suggest customer service training for the staff and maybe to use google maps when delivering to an address....

Intentó usar su servicio de entrega, acabé cancelar mi orden de principio, ya que su personal es tan inútil, tan grosero y totalmente dispuestos a proporcionar cualquier tipo de servicio al cliente básico. Es una pena, ya he comido aquí antes y utilizamos su servicio de entrega, y la comida, cuando finalmente encuentra su camino tras un mínimo de una hora y media, es bastante bueno. Debe evitar. No vale la pena el pésimo servicio.

Delivery guy got so lost even with clear instructions that pizza was cold and 25 minutes late. Shane tho coz the pizza is always pretty good.

Rather scanty toppings, one pizza was covered in undone flour, and the other one was overcooked. Eatable, but won't reorder. Sorry.

Delivery took an hour and a half for a 2 mile delivery. After an hour I called them and they said it would be 10 minutes after half an hour it finally arrived. Cold Pizza. AVOID!!!

Food took long you charge to much for a portion you can buy for couple quid and your portions where really small I'll stick to my locals

I was absolutely starved when the pizza finally arrived and ended up disappointed with the cold pizza that looked like it had gone through a blender on the back of the motorbike. I will not order again from them as this is the second time this has happened.

The most disgusting horrible nasty chaep tasting pizza ever. Do not buy from here guys. My kids 8 & 10 even wouldn't eat it and there kids who love pizza. I give these guys a big fat 0 but they did deliver on time....just wish the driver stuck around for me to have sent it back where it came from. Yuck yuck eerrrrr

Nothing short of delectable. We asked for a very specific addition to our order, which they happily provided. Their pasta dishes are very tasty and well made, which is a hard thing to find in a takeaway. These guys never disappoint! Simply the best pizza/pasta gaff in Hackney.

Pizza is super good and this place

Pizzas were good, but the one with Parma ham had only two slices of ham. The worst thing was that delivery came with 40 minutes of delay.

Have got pizza from the shop before and it has always been good and reasonably priced. Had never ordered for delivery, and it took over TWO HOURS! It's a shame because the pizza is good, and especially for the money, but it was just ridiculously slow, and when I phoned to ask where it was, the guy didn't even apologise. Given this was New Year's Day so it probably was pretty busy, but they could have seemed like they cared! Anyway, bit of a shame. Probably wouldn't order again, but would still go in to pick up.

Usually it's decent but it took 3 hours to arrive and it was pretty soggy and cold. That being said, it was New Years Day so maybe they had a load of orders. They didn't apologise either way though, which would have been nice

Food was great as always and so cheap!! Totally reliable quality. Even the salads are fantastic, very generous with the goat cheese and the mozzarella. Always accommodates our requests as well (extra toppings or no cheese on one of the pizzas etc.) Love this place.
