Base Pizza, Hackney in Hackney

Pizza was delivered on time, however it was stone cold and dripping with grease. Very little pepperoni and it was most definitely NOT mozzarella cheese that they are supposed to use. Trade description....... Let themselves down big time as the base of pizza was a nice dough. Ordered chicken wings with sour cream dip. It arrived without the dip also. Has potential to be a great pizza. Read your reviews Base Pizza.....

this is my second time despite my last review the pizza was cold . this time it was warmish but the pizza does taste good and the dessert I had extra slices on both cakes so I am very pleased this time.

my food was freezing cold but it tasted good . when I called the restaurant they didn't care pretty much.

Awful, awful experience. Pizza arrived and it was stone cold, to be honest, there was no moisture on the box at all, it made me think it was an old pizza they were trying to get rid of. When I called the restaurant , the man was patronising and told me the restaurant was far from where I live, I told him I used to make that journey from my house to the location on my scooter for work, so I know how far it is. I said you shouldn't be delivering that far if you can't guarantee a quality item. He spoke in a rude manner and I didn't get a new pizza and it was 11pm at night so had to make do with trying to heat it up in the oven in bits. They wouldn't even do a full refund, they gave me a fiver back. Animals.

Ordered a 4 cheese with extra topping I just got the extra topping but none of the 4 cheeses Do they read the order or they just do what they want?

Took over two hours for the pizza to be delivered and when I called the employee to ask where the foods was he was very rude. To top it off I got a pizza with no chicken and the pizza was cold. Not a happy customer

Topping on pizza was missing, and I ordered two different chicken dishes. I became two times the same.

Amazing pizza but dont order in go and eat in the store. They told the website that they delivered the pizza at 13:05 but actually i recieved it at 13:45. Again superb pizza but bad delivery times.

Really good pizza every time we order it.

Ordered 2 x pizza, one side and one dessert. Pizza was good quality and fresh, side was tasty, dessert was different from our order and arrived frozen and inedible. We ordered tirimasu and received a solid block of frozen banofee pie which was disappointing. The food arrived 20 minutes late meaning that some of our party were unable to stay and eat it. Phone was answered quickly when contacted about lateness and pizza was good value. I would not use

In London for a weekend visit from Scotland and happened upon Base Pizza, brilliant can't recommend it highly enough!

I don't recommend the lasagna, never tried the pizzas tho'!

The food delivery service does not get any more terrible than this. Everything was wrong with my order from the beginning, when the restaurant has called me confirming they did not have the flavour of the dessert that I have ordered and suggesting something else completely different. I have politely declined, but they have insisted I try it. When the delivery driver was at my gate he has called me to come and pick it up. He has called me multiple times, insisting I hurry up. I found that was rude and unheard of. When I have opened my food it came as a surprise that I have been delivered a completely different dessert, probably something the restaurant has been failing to sell to their unfortunate customers. The pizza tasted average, but I am not inclined to use the restaurant's services ever again with so many better ones on this website.

Bad service driver was fast but hill with ur management team and pizza was burned to hill very soogy very salty avoid and save your self money and time order something else

I prefer this one cheapy burger shop than the others in the road...but if you find a very hairy raven man working...he gonna make you wait 20minutes for a burger ir a portion of chips.. because he needs one minute only to turn himself. To bag my food he spent three minutes..one can a butger one chips..aahahha ...come on man The quality is medium low

Worst takeaway I've ever had. Not only were they an hour and a half late, when they got here the pizza was cold and they had forgotten the drink! I asked for the money back for the drink which they agreed to but would only give me £1 of the £1.75 cost because he had no change. Rudest delivery driver I've ever met. You have lost a customer.

First and last time :-( sorry. No possibility to pick ice cream flavour on website. They basically decided for us and write it down on the receipt: vanilla it is! Ordered a sticky pudding and got a banana cake instead. That cake must have been in a freezer for at least a year. Tried it, realised it was banana which I'm bloody allergic to.

Got delivery from these guys. I've had my share of pizzas in my live and I can say with confidence that this was the BEST pizza I've had in my life.

Terrible. My pizza was an hour late, I couldn't get hold of them to ask where it was. When it finally arrived they forgot my drink and it was cold.

The pizzas were pretty good, nice thin base and properly baked. Bit shy with the toppings though, didn't even add the extras I ordered and paid for... But, they have curly fries, and that's all you really need to know.

Quality of foods were ok, pizza was not too rich in oil or salt which were good (prefer to add on rather than being too oily or salty) and good amount of potato wedge. However, there was a topping missing, did not get a free dip dispite of mentioning in message and the desert was not as it was described and a little disappointing. Would be happy to give an another chance tho!

The food is great and it was only 10 minutes late, butt the delivery man was very rude and angrily told me they would not deliver to here again because it is too far away; however it was on this website and is within the same zone.

They should have mentioned on the menu that the chicken wings were battered! Also they forgot the dip so it was a pretty dry experience.

I waited over two and a half hours for food, they didn't have potato wedges and replaced them with the cheaper potato twists which they charged me for and didn't take the wedges off the bill. The food was amazing quality though. Not worth that long of a wait though.
