Good food and very kind definitely recommend!

I don't typically review but simply had to praise the pavillion for my food this evening. The best Indian takeout in the area! The food was truly superb, I ordered poppadoms, naan, curry and rice, all of which were wonderful. It was neatly presented inside a the takeaway bag with no leaks or awkwardly stacked items. You could tell the food came straight from the kitchen as it tasted fresh and was still hot when I tucked into it around 20 minutes after pickup. The service was polite and friendly with no issues with the order. I ordered via telephone and looked up the menu online. I picked up at the restaurant around 25 minutes later as advised on the telephone. The prices were very reasonable. I was able to get all of the above for under £20! Similar meals in Southampton (where I've recently been spending some time) cost closer to £30. So with polite service, delicious food and great prices, I'd definitely recommend the Pavillion!

Delicious food for an affordable price. And a very friendly owner. You can order a delicious glass of wine and beer.

Enjoyed an authentic tasting take away from Pavilion. The pilau rice was particularly lovely and both the jalfrezi and korai curries were flavourful and stretched to leftovers! Very friendly team too. Highly recommend.

Prices far higher than a recent menu. Processed chicken / very tough lamb. Cash only delivery but driver doesn't carry change?!

One of my favourite and in my opinion (the best) Indian restaurant and takeaway in Gloucestershire. Always very happy with the food, the chef's are very good.

Poor quality of portions. £13 for tandoori mixed grill. Which was size of a starter.

Upon recommendation we had a takeaway delivered to Minchinhampton, it was absolutely delicious . Highly recommend and will now be regulars! Thank you to staff at The Pavilion.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Decor fresh and clean. Had a table in conservatory with beautiful outlook. Four different curries - each one with distinctive flavour. BYOB with no corkage a bonus. Would definitely recommend.

Ordered a vegan tika masala. It arrived and was chicken tika with no cream, when we called to complain the guy said that usually people mean they want no cream when they say that. I asked if he knew what vegan even meant considering he was in the food business and he told me not to ask for a tika masala as that will come with chicken (even though i specified vegan and didn't mention the word chicken when ordering at all!) He was laughing on the phone, was very rude and refused to deliver the correct curry so we had to drive to pick it up. No money back offered or anything. Real shame as food is usually good but couldn't quite believe that. Was a good job it wasn't an allergy and only a dietary preference.

Good curry, nice service - would definitely return!

Never get their take away orders right (our last 4 take away orders have been missing dishes) always have to wait longer than they say. If they say 40 minutes, give them an hour and always check everything is there before leaving! Food is good when they get it right.

Sadly not as good as it used to be.

Normally really nice in there! But waited over an hour to order a starter after asking the waiter 3 times if we could order and he kept walking away and saying yes in a minute! Ended up paying for our dribks and leaving not very happy...

Awful. Arrived to eat in, ordered drinks straight away. Took 20mins, a further 35mins to take good order. Pickles were reused from another table. Second drinks order took 20mins. Food arrived 1hr 40mins after arrival. Two dishes hot, one warm, one cold. Sent cold one back. Same plate returned, microwaved! 3 tables left without eating due to waits. Takeaway queue was constant and the priority. Flavour of the food, average. Ambience poor. One staff member friendly, one appeared fed up and clearly didn’t want to be there. Just awful 😔

Delivery review. Shocking customer service. Ordered food at 7 was told it would take an hour and 20 mins, we only live 10 mins away ! Heyho by 8.30 no delivery , phone just rings out constantly, by 9.15 PM eventually someone answers to say there just getting ready to drive for deliveries. No apology, no communication. Do not waste your time trying to get your food delivered.

Absolutely discussed with your service called 6 times and every time you hang up sad to say your food was good but due to bad attitude and pure rudeness you have lost a customer

Excellent Food! Never been before so this is based off my first and only experience But it was a very good one, The service was friendly the meal arrived promptly and the food was to a very high standard. Highly recommend a visit on Curry night!

Not as formulaic as some. Some fish on the menu which is good to see. Decor is completely standard 'IKEA meets Modern Curry'. Kingfisher and Cobra on draft.

Never met more obtuse, unhelpful and downright stupid staff. Left after being unable to communicate the simplest of orders. If the owner of this restaurant reads this, you should seriously reconsider your choice in front of house staff. No idea what the food is like but I won't return after being shouted at by said idiot as I left

This is by far the best Indian food i have EVER tasted bar none. The staff are friendly and very attentive and you are made to feel welcome from the get go. I would recommend The Pavillion to anyone who likes their Indian cuisine.

Absolute joke! About a quarter full restaurant and the service was still terrible! we sat for 30 minutes looking at the menu, our starters came 30 minutes after that. I had the mixed platter, the lamb was like old boots the sheek kebab was dry and bland as was the chicken. We sat for nearly 2 hours without are table being cleared or the option of more drinks! What was the main and sides like? Wouldnt know! As we tried to pay for what we'd had as the night was still young and we wanted to go somewhere else and just couldn't wait any longer, the same starters came out again as they had clearly messed the whole order up! No apology no free drink to smooth it over! Nothing but rudeness. Ive also had a few takeaways from here and again bland bland bland! This place was good but not anymore. If you want a banging sit down curry go to sultan in cirencester, it blows this place out of the water!

We've dined-in once and had take-away once. Impressed both times. Tasty food, wide selection, good service and reasonable value for money. The portions are huge!
