I visited today for the first time. Sadly the lunches aren’t as advertised on your website. After enquiring I was told the lunches were served with no salad contrary to the website. I then witnessed a group of visitors being served their lunch with salad. I was told this was only for party bookings. The sausage roll was also cold and apparently could not be heated so the pastry was soft. Not worth £7.50. Not inclined to return.

This is a review of the Glass House Cafe in Miserden. I was taken here for lunch by a friend for my 50th birthday. Unfortunately after queuing for 10minutes, as we approached the counter, we were informed that the cook had just walked out of the job and that they couldn't serve us a ploughman's lunch. After explaining it was a special birthday celebration they reluctantly agreed. We also asked for two glasses of prosecco, as listed on their drinks menu and once again we were told that they couldn't serve these to us. Instead we were told that we could only purchase a bottle, and not individual glasses as was advertised. We agreed knowing that half the bottle would be wasted. After waiting half an hour for our lunch (the bottle of prosecco and one slice of cake out of two had been served to us) we approached a member of staff who questioned our order as we didn't have a numbered wooden spoon, we were never given one! After producing the receipt they agreed to make our ploughman's lunch. I returned to the desk to reorder my slice of cake as they no longer had the one I had ordered. I was the only client in the café at the time and the two members of staff behind the till carried on their conversation about the events unfolding at work in front of me and then proceeded to turn their backs to me. I waited a further few minutes until I was forced to call their attention in order to be served. We gave the remaining two glasses of prosecco from our bottle to the family who had been queuing behind us as they had been refused point blank by the till staff to be served a ploughman's lunch. Theirs was also a special celebration with two 21st birthdays in their party! I was extremely disappointed with the customer service.

Lovely venue. Arrived at one and got in the very slow queue to order lunch. Options were ploughman’s or variety of sausage rolls. At 1pm no sausage rolls left, baked potato was also an option but told the oven wasn’t working so that was off the menu too! so only option was a ploughman’s with a roll but they had run out of butter as well . What we had was nice - lovely cake too but better planning needed so menu would have more than one option. Service lovely but very slow. In fairness think the staff were quite new but as a cafe you need to have more than one thing on the menu during the peak of lunchtime

After looking around the lovely gardens, we used the cafe. We had the soup of the day, carrot and coriander. It was delicious. Then we had a piece of caramel latte cake. That too was good. Our only criticism is the blinds on the sloping windows need to be cleaned frequently.

Wonderful service. One of the tastiest salads I've ever eaten and large pot of tea. Lovely location too. Can definitely recommend ❤️ Me and doggo were unconventional and enjoyed the shade beside one of the glasshouses! Lots of inside and outside seating with sun canopies.

Beautiful cakes and coffee. Plus today there was a Christmas Carol concert! Excellent and talented singers from Cranham really got us in the Christmas mood.

Loved this place and really looking forward to going back. Lovely cafe in a gorgeous glasshouse with fragrant plants, including a beautiful jasmine wall, and delicious food. Plants for sale were in excellent condition.

A beautiful cafe in a set of old Victorian greenhouses. Fantastic cakes, and lovely tea, hot soups in winter and a couple of stoves to keep you warm. They have a pop up restaurant some evenings, too. It is in the Nursery (lovely Nursery) so eat cake while you browse plants. Highly recommended.

where to start! What a welcoming, warm establishment. I have drunk and eaten here on multiple occasions and can only say that the staff, the food, the atmosphere and the events that The Hog hold are the best in the area. This is a must visit location. Thanks Team Hog
