Este bar ahora se llama "Social de Wilson". Fui allí la semana pasada a tomar una copa por la noche. Señalé la rosa que quería y pregunté por el tamaño. El hombre me dio la máquina de tarjetas y por suerte lo comprobé, porque decía 7. Le pregunté por qué como decía el menú 4. 90 Dijo "es diferente pero como sea" y puso 5. 90 en la máquina de tarjetas. Señalé nuevamente que el menú decía 4. 90 y agarró agresivamente la máquina para poner este precio y dijo "el menú está mal" como si fuera mi culpa que el menú de su barra fuera incorrecto. Hombre extremadamente grosero y ¡CAMBIA TU MENÚ si los precios son incorrectos! ! !

Great bar, good tunes, but just a tad pricey for pints - and bouncers are very scowly. Cheer up old sons.

if you are looking to take your family or friends for a breakfast experience of a life time where you get a warm welcome, fast service and friendly engaged staff The Patron sadly isn't the place for you. I don't like to knock any business within Manchester but the owner in my opinion needs a wake up call, your staff are like wet lettuces with no drive for the success for this Restaurant under trained and lack experience. You clearly need a strong leader at the front of house. We witnessed customers arriving and not being greeted and promptly leaving. Customers sat waiting for food for over 1hour and leaving without paying for drinks as they were that disappointed. clearing tables of plates seating customers without wiping tables. We also personally experienced all off the above and when our patience finally ran out asked one of the 2 waitresses when our food would arrive after waiting 1hr 15mins to be told that the kitchen hadn't received our order. we left after 1hr 40minutes without having any food we wouldn't return to your establishment in a rush.

Called in on spec and was seated in the window - which was great for people watching ! Menu isnt massive but to be honest that suits me as I can never decide or I go for the same thing. So it was nice to have a change. Chose the flat bread - lovely hot and plenty of meat on it - little too many onions but moved them to one side. Really enjoyed it. Side order of fries to be honest weren’t needed as the flat bread was filling enough. Waiter checked in regularly which was lovely so keep us supplied with wine top ups. Really friendly service and atmosphere was chilled. Would recommend.

My partner and I stopped here for a quick break whilst out visiting Manchester. An early Friday evening with business slowly picking up. We found a table to sit and just have a couple of drinks. We sat and watched the staff. Friendly service guaranteed. As you finish your last sip of drink they swoop like a hungry gul at the beach trying to steal your chips. First my partners drink was taken nearly not having time to touch the table. I saw a pen on the floor, took my final gulp and went down to pick the pen up. Glass gone! Slightly impressed by their speed, I also felt too watched, as if staff are too eager for you to finish.

Stopped in for lunch our first time myself and my sister both pensioners and my sister just over from Canada.this is my first review food excellent and the staff was friendly and informative we have not had this type of food before.will not be our last

On Saturday night our running club were having a party at The Patron. Unfortunately, one of our runners was turned away at the door by the bouncers. The reason given was he looked like someone who had been thrown out of a different bar earlier for fighting!! He certainly wasn't this person and I can fully vouch for him as being one of the nicest guys you'd ever meet. He was devastated to be treated so badly, not being allowed to join the rest of us and has been put off ever visiting this place again. Our club have used your venue in the past and had issues with the bouncers then, which we let pass. We will look elsewhere from now on as we find this unacceptable. I understand you must look after the safety of your clientele but turning someone away just because they look a bit like someone who might've had a fight in another bar is disgraceful. I don't want our runners to not be allowed to feel part of our celebrations, so we won't risk it at The Patron again!

Me and my best friend are regular Friday night customers. We just stay in the beer garden, even in the winter as the place has heaters. Patron is the classiest place in NQ, good music if you wanna dance, good atmosphere and good people. I recommend it to all my friends who ask me for advice on nice places in MCR, as they know I go out every weekend and tried pretty much every place. We avoided it at first (last year or so) cause bouncers refused to let us in first time we tried the place because of ‘capacity’ (it was Saturday night), so we thought it was a pretentious place like 20 Stories. But it’s not, and we highly recommend it on a Friday night, especially if you’re a chatty smoker :)

We went to this pub for a meal as everywhere else was absolutely packed and even though this pub was also packed they had some tables reserved for diners , so we were seated really quickly and drink order taken . Myself and my husband both choose the chicken kebabs which came with a sourdough flatbread and salad and was delicious and some shawarma fries which were tasty . The pub was busy but the staff were friendly and attentive and when we are in Manchester again we will dugouts back again .

We’ve been here numerous times before and been impressed. However today was poor. We ordered Sunday roasts and they came within about 5 mins, cold and tasted like they’d been sat there all day. The staff told us they were fresh and just gave us some warm gravy. Will not be going back.

The called at The Patron for a drink on the way to the hotel. It’s a very friendly place. The barman was cheerful and I would definitely recommend the place.

My husband loves his roasts. I’ll make him 1, if not 2, during the week, and we’ll always go out for one at the weekend. He despairs that so many city centre roasts are sub-standard compared to a homecooked one, too fancy and lacking character. Yesterday, he said that his Sunday Roast at The Patron was the best he’d had in Manchester. Particularly worthy of note were that all roasts come with a stuffing ball (whether you order the chicken or not), and we’re really glad we paid for the side of cauliflower cheese, as it was fantastic. Roast potatoes were good and crispy on the outside. The half bulb of roasted garlic is a curious but interesting addition; I’m personally a fan, my husband wasn’t (said that garlic doesn’t belong on a roast). There’s no starters on The Patron’s Sunday menu, but this isn’t a bad thing – it felt like they focused more on the mains instead. Service was very friendly throughout. Why only 4 stars instead of 5? Nothing to do with the roast itself (though if I could change anything, it would be to add a swede mash) – but the rest of the menu. We did look at the dessert menus, but after a great roast it was a bit of a disappointment – a chocolate pudding, an orange blossom and date rice pudding, and standard ice cream flavours. And for anyone not wanting a roast, the rest of the menu is very ‘hipster’ – all flatbreads, harissa, pulled lamb, pomegranate-type flavours. Not to everyone’s taste if you’re fancying more traditional comfort food as an alternative to a roast. But, it’s got its niche, I’m sure.
