The Pasty Shop in Camden

I was feeling a bit peckish so decided to get a pasty from the Pasty Shop. I chose a Chicken & Mushroom Pasty which cost me £5.99 which I felt as a bit expensive but it was really nice. Was it worth it? It was good and convenient so I'd say yes.The lady who served me was polite and professional.

I have just bought a giant traditional Cornish pasty at a outlet at Liverpool Street station I then asked if I could have a plastic cup so I could take my medicine & was refused I the offered to buy one & was refused again ! Guess the chances that I will buy anything from this company again?

£6.29 worth of utter crap. Awful, tasteless, expensive, dull, bland, faecal. Never again will I use the overrated establishment.

The staff at Euston station are some of the rudest staff I have ever had the disappointment of being served by. The prices are also over rated for what the sell. Steak and ale fill out with potato. Give it a very wide birth

Had a craving for cornish pasty and this place in Kings Cross satisfied. Not cheap but filling and portable. We had a nice dinner at our hotel.

I paid £5.49 for a 'steak and ale pasty'. This was a wodge of pastry filled with a scalding gunk of potatoes, carrots and pepper, with one solitary cube of grey steak lurking at the bottom. The service was unfriendly too. What a rip-off!

Called here as was near Euston station. The pasties are not good value, and the steak one i was given was FAR too hot to eat. it literally scalded my tongue.As someone who has spent a lot of time in Cornwall this thing was a poor excuse.

Got charged almost £6 just for a standard size pasty. Mostly because even though I queried the piece, the rude man behind the counter, just kept shouting at me...water!!!? Water!!? For some reason I was supposed to understand this as I was standing at the “wrong side” of the 2 metre long counter. Don’t bother!

Tenía carne y cerveza pastosa de esta salida. Muy mala calidad. No parecía haber carne en el pastel. Sobre todo una sustancia extraña y un poco gristle. El servicio también era pobre, sin interés en querer servir. Posiblemente porque no saben lo pobre que era el producto?

My pasty was piping hot and absolutely delicious. The crust was flaky. It's not the best pasty I've had in my life, but it was very good and better than I would expect at a train station.

It’s not cheap (£5.39) for a Cornish pasty, but it was very tasty and just how I like it - lots of pepper and no peas. The pastry was flaky and it’s a good treat before getting on the train.

Picked up some potato wedges and chicken nuggets for train journey - however they were stone cold! Avoid!

Visited their Paddington Station Shop and bought a 2 cornish pasties and a jumbo sausage roll.Filling was full of potatoes and the pastry so hard it just crumbled..Not worth the prices they charge.Would have fared better at Greggs.

Mistakenly thought this was the West Pasty company. No service with a smile here at Euston station on a Sunday morning. No veggie breakfast either. My partner had a sausage barn - bread rock hard - bland contents - waste of money.

Visited here with my family while rushing for a train. Grabbed a couple of pasties to eat on the train and really wish we hadn't bothered. The pasties were very over cooked and were so hard they could have been used as hammers in a tin mine. Even if they had been cooked properly they were still the worst and most expensive pasties I've ever bought. Hardly any meat and just full of finely chopped potato. I definitely would give this chain of shops a wide berth in the future.

I got my breakfast at The Pasty Shop on my way through Euston this morning. There was Brown Sauce sachets in a jar on the counter so I took one for my breakfast roll. The roll was ok but nothing to write home about.

Absolutely disgusted!! ..... Aftter paying £5 each for 2 pasties on the way to catch a train, sat down to eat them half way through the journey only to find they were bland and meatless!!! ... how you have the nerve to rip people off in this way is disgusting! It is expensive enough to travel without being conned out of your money too! Avoid!!

No me refiero a un hipercontracto, pero soy un chef establecido que apelea a todos los estándares de comida. El pastel que me acaban de servir es una vergüenza para el "pastel de Cornualles". No sé por dónde empezar, pero lo haré. . . . ¡amable! Demasiado caro, no hay suficiente carne, aburrido y sobre cocido. ¡Podría seguir! Si vas a hacer una cosa. . . ¿hazlo bien? Claramente este lugar carece de una alta gerencia decente. Es una vergüenza que llames a este lugar un negocio. Evitar a toda costa!

Un pastel realmente horrible. Creo que decía ser bistec y cerveza, pero era más descuidada. Con más de 5 años era pequeña, recocida y carecía de cualquier textura de carne. Cualquiera de Cornualles se avergonzaría de que su condado estuviera vinculado a semejante desgracia. Si desea ver el tipo de calidad que un pastelería para llevar debe ser, le recomiendo West Cornwall Pasty Shop (y no, no tengo vínculos con ellos, solo aprecio un pastel decente) más grande, más carnosos, más sabrosos. La cosa en Euston era muy pobre y gran parte de ella reside en un contenedor cercano.

Worst pasty ever- ordered a chicken and mushroom pasty, it had one piece of chicken, few bits of mushroom and lots of potato. Very bland. Very disappointing. Avoid!

I stop by quite frequently because The Pasty Shop at Euston Station is conveniently on the way home and the other options are Upper Crust or Burger King. So I’d say I’m a frequent customer, and rarely a satisfied one! Pastys here have most often sat under the hot lights way too long and are therefore rock solid, nuclear hot and pretty tasteless. I know I should find somewhere else up sometimes a commuter

My first and last visit to a “Pasty Shop”.

Purchased a sausage roll before jumping on a train. Incredibly hot, but meat raw in places and pastry around sausage raw and wet. Inedible. £3.99.

Ordered a bacon bap and cappuccino while dashing for a train, only to find when I got to my train I had been given a breakfast bap and very milky overfilled flat white - not impressed

Probably the worst thing I have ever paid to eat! £5 for stone cold mush. Do not eat here!!!! The food is absolutely terrible and it is ridiculously overpriced. I cannot believe they are still trading.

Just purchased a pasty from Victoria station and a large sausage roll the pasty was rock hard and my husband threw his chicken and stuffing pasty in the bin the two items cost over £10 absolute daylight robbery

Compré un rollo de salchicha crujiente y una bolsa de Hash Browns. Abordé mi tren en 2 minutos y estaba a punto de comer la comida y descubrí que todo estaba frío como una piedra. No cálido, frío como la piedra. Demasiado tarde para regresar cuando el tren salía de la estación.

Al encontrarnos en la explanada de la estación de Euston que necesitaba comida muy rápida, casi estábamos listos para darnos por vencidos cuando divisé The Pasty Shop. ¡No hay filas tan ideales! Tenía un pastel de verduras con cuñas picantes y mi marido tenía un rollo de salchicha. Está bien, no es una buena cena, pero justo lo que necesitábamos para llenar un hueco de comida. Mi pastel era cálido y sabroso, con un buen relleno de verduras. Las cuñas también eran muy sabrosas y calientes. Para ser justos, la tienda no es lo que normalmente habríamos elegido para comer, pero dadas las circunstancias y el hecho de que teníamos prisa, encajaba muy bien. Ah, el servicio fue con una sonrisa también, muy educado y eficiente.

Just bought a bag of hash browns from this store and it was cold and i opened it within 3 minutes of buying. They did not even look fresh. The employees hardly care what they are serving. I love the pasty they serve but this was not acceptable.

Went for cheese, potato and onion pasty and was not disappointed as the pasty was full of filling and tasted a dream. And for a penny to under £4 it was good value too. More please!

I enjoyed my traditional big pasty whilst the wife had the cheese and onion. Prompt service and all for just over eleven quid including drinks.

While I quite enjoyed my pasty from here, it was really a beef flavoured vegetable pasty because it contained 95% potatoes, swede and onion and around 5% "steak" (it was billed as steak and potato).

Pero al menos había una sensación, porque desde una perspectiva de sabor - nada. Completa basura. Estoy a la izquierda se siente estafado, no se sacia y totalmente insatisfecho. Pretty good and tasty pasties. Nice fillings and well-priced well with a good selection. Pasties are extremely hot, so do not burn your mouth and before eating tear a bit if the edging off to let it cool. Their potato wedges are chunky, spicy and delish.

The most disgusting cornish pasty I have ever had and the most expensive at nearly £6. Filling mainly potato and the little meat that was there was largely grisly. Don't be tempted. You will regret it!!! PS I usually like cornish pasties

Got off a train and wanted a quick bite to take home. Got the giant beef pasty which was quite good. Would have liked something spicy or saucy on it but I think they are just dry by nature. A mild flavor.

Thoroughly enjoyed the traditional cornish pasty from the Kings Cross station shop, my wife enjoyed her sandwich too. Yes we have had cheaper, but they were nowhere near the quality and flavour that these were. Will not hesitate to use other branches of the chain as and when we come across them.

On euston concourse and priced at the expensive end and it was not great . quest not as much as burger king so good to use if you only have a few mins to train and want a quick food or a quick drink for train . Overall poor

great grub on the go, make sure you grab a napkin though as they are bursting with fillings, so wiping of the lips before boarding the train is​ a must

坐了一程長途車後十分肚餓, 於是便買了一個批來吃, 味道不錯, 也很夠熱, 最重要的是方便快捷, 也很飽肚, 兩個女仔Share食一個就夠了。

Stood in the queue and watched the assistant say to the customer ahead who was fumbling with her change "take another hour, why don't you". Then it was my turn. I asked for two sausage rolls and a pie and watched them being thumped angrily into bags and then onto the counter top. The chips looked good so I asked for three packets. "Please!!" she said to me, obviously reminding me to be polite (something I didn’t request).So, I picked up my thrown packages where they lay. I did not grumble when she missed giving me a serviette, when she complained at my Scottish notes or when she slammed the till shut in some show of disgust. But when I tasted the dried out, obviously one day old chips I felt awful. They were, without doubt, the worst chips I had ever tasted - cardboard would have been a pleasure. The sausage rolls were also a disaster - overly cooked and dried out and the pie also dried and with hardly any meat inside. And to beat it all - no receipt was offered/given.What a complete waste of 17 pounds as all of it went in the bin. Except the chips of course which I dumped on the counter whilst telling her "most disgusting". I then had to go elsewhere and buy some edible food for my hungry family.

I went to buy a vegetable and a giant sausage roll. The sales assistant did not say thank you or gave me a bag for my 2 pasties. She did not give me a receipt or any serviettes. I asked her, "Can I have some serviettes?". She replied, "Say Please!". I was appalled with the level of service. I like their pasties and always buy one at the stations. However, I am truly disappointed with the low quality service I received this morning at Euston station. The management should look into this matter and improve their staff's customer services training. The pasties were yummy though.

Bought two traditional steak Cornish at 8 quid. The filling had more potatoes than meat and the pastry were thick, hard and dry.

Claims to be 100% handmade in Cornwall. Turns out I'm not a fan of the pasty . . . at least the beef pasty I had. It was filled with beef and potatoes . . . along with the outer crust, it's too much carbohydrates for me. Their sausage roll was alright, though. Nice and flaky.

The counter appears very appealing and well stocked, but unfortunately I found my food to be all but cold even though I ate it straight away. Prices are the usual inflated station prices but nothing too expensive.

One of my favourite food joints, The Pasty Shop is a must visit for those who are steak lovers. My favorite dish is 'The Big One' which comprises of traditional cornish steak, potato, onion, black pepper, swede.

Whilst hurrying for a train I happened upon the pasty shop, I joined the long, but quickly diminishing queue. I promptly ordered a pasty and I believe some wedges, if I recall set me back a total of around 7 pounds.this seemed to be very expensive, and yet the queue was continuous, as I departed for my train , with hot food in hand, I felt as though I had been robbed, 7 quid seemed a lot of money for a snack.

In Paddington station chose the Pasty Shop and try their bacon rolls. Both Josh and I agreed this was the best bacon roll in a long time.

Mildly tasty greasy food that will have you in a grease sweet. It's a perfect hangover cure but I wouldn't eat from this place sober.

If you are buying something at lunchtimes its prob alright but outside those times the food has been sitting about for a while making it dry and not very nice. Expensive but then it is in London.

Grabbed a quick pasty here before jumping on a train to Warrington. Service pretty good and pasty tasty, warm and good. Could have been a little hotter for my liking but reasonable and quick to grab something in a hurry.

Good pasties, made in Cornwall according to the sign. Convenient, cheap, filling; sweet meat goodness. I had the steak and ale, Sher the chicken and mushroom. We came back two weeks later and each had the traditional. Great pasties.
