The Park Row in Bristol, City of

First time visiting, a really nice little resturant, loved the decor and the background music gave a nice ambience. Service by the young lady was prompt, and we ordered calamari, and aluminium for starters. Both dishes were served in a timely manor, and both were delicious. For mains we had the carbonara and the chicken risotto. My risotto was very nice, although a tad bitter in places. The carbonara on the other hand was incredibly salty, now my partner loves a bit of salt and for him to say it was to salty for him, I would say it was overdone. He did say to the server it, and she did offer to have it replaced, sadly at this point it had put my partner off. We did the lunch time offer at £17.95 for starters and main, but think it would have been a nice gesture not to have charged for my husbands main and just the starter as he only ate about half his meal. I had been recommended to come here, but sadly won't return.

Extremely disappointed with the portion, really not worth with the amount that I have to pay. You guys used to be better but this is really sad. Won't be coming again.

The atmosphere and service here was really great, we had a lovely time. However, the food was seriously average considering the price which let it down a bit.

Service was excellent and food was delicious as usual. Air dried tuna 10/10. Six dishes, bread, bottle of wine and coffees between 3 people for £35 ish per person feels very reasonable. Always so lovely
