Prices don’t seem too unreasonable until you realise what you actually get. First photo taken directly from the website vs the second photo of what I received. Doesn’t seem like even an ounce of effort went into presentation and it didn’t taste much better than it looked. Staff were rushing about and making you feel hurried on to leave so they can have your table for the next customer, save your brass and make it at home be half the price and actually be edible.

My son and I both love this place. The waffles and pancakes are great (there was a blob of tasty ice cream on the plate in the photo, but my son got to it before I got a photo...

I hate what they've done to the place. It used to be so much better, with a wonderful menu and so many gluten free options having it be the highlight of our trips for many years. Now they've stopped doing any and all sweet Dutch Pancakes, with the only options being pancake stacks and waffles. And while these are nice, the removal of Dutch sweet pancakes on its own its nearly a deal breaker. Plus the gluten free menu has shrunk drastically, leading members of my family to have a nice meal. Overall, it is now an okay but overpriced restaurant, and one we probably won't return to anytime soon.

Buyer beware.. if you book for a 15:30 sitting, you will not get a seat until 15:45 which is last orders.. don't contemplate asking for a desert after you've eaten, or another drink after your initial order, because the bar/drinks team will be closed. ... and make sure you eat as quick as you can because the staff want to knock off as soon as they can.... abysmal service.. oh and as its now no cash.. if you get the rubbish service we did, make sure you ask for the obligatory service charge to be removed from your bill BEFORE you pay...

Absolutely delicious. We had some very yummy waffles and pancakes here. There are so many options, the kids love it and the wait time for food is short. Staff are friendly, you just have to pre book a table. Definitely one to visit.

Had a really great meal here, was so much more than expected! The food was superb, love the ways you can mix and match savoury & sweet and which type of base you have. Given it's centre parcs, I found the prices reasonable too. However, what probably made this a great meal was the staff, nothing my little one asked was too much trouble and even though they may have been busy they gave her the time to make her dinning experience that much more memorable.

I really enjoyed pancake house! I ordered the Oreo and cookie dough pancakes which came with crushed Oreo, whipped cream, Oreo ice cream, and cookie dough. It was delicious! Would definitely order again! It was strange when we asked for berry compote and white chocolate sauce for two of my family members, they both got three extra pancakes although their meal already came with three pancakes. Overall, good experience, good food, and nice server. When I come to Center Parcs again, I hope I come back here!

I don't like leaving bad reviews but there are so many good reviews for this place which was contrary to our experience. Starting positively, the staff were great, the atmosphere is family friendly and all-in-all this had the potential to be an enjoyable experience. However the food and the pricing really lets it down. We arrived at around 9am to have breakfast - we didn't prebook and there was plenty of space. This surprised me, as many reviews suggested pre-booking, but then the food arrived and it became apparent why... £11 for three pancakes smeared with a bit of compote and whipped cream is a rip-off. And while they may call these American style pancakes, they aren't; anyone who has been to an IHOP in the States will confirm this. They are too flat, not as large as you would expect for the price and they lack the fluffy consistency of American pancakes. Definitely not the pancake stack I envisioned before coming into the place. If you come here, have realistic expectations; this is a tourist trap restaurant and you should be prepared to part with a significant amount of money for something that isn't what it is advertised to be. Not value for money and not at all what it was hyped up to be.

I would recommend booking as it is very popular/ high demanding place. I went for late breakfast around 10am and the place was full of people. The service was good apart from waiting for the bill at the end. The food was great and accommodated my nut allergy. You simply scan a QR code to get the allergy menu and filter by allergy. This was very limited but at least I could eat there! Even came with a flag in my food and seperate 'allergy free' orange juice. Lastly, an optional service charge was added to the bill. So please be aware of this.

This used to be the highlight of our visits to Centre Parcs . The menu has changed and the fantastic pancakes we used to order have been either removed or changed, for the worse, unfortunately. The restaurant would always have been packed with happy customers, a queue at the door, but now there is no problem getting a table . Although there is nothing wrong with the quality of the food served, the dishes are a far cry from what used to be served up . We were very disappointed. I’ll not be back unless they bring the original top quality stacks and savoury pancakes back.

Had brunch here today. Hadn’t booked. Busy on arrival but Mary the hostess was able to fit us in mindful the table needed back in an hour. Fine for us as eating with two small people who can’t last that long. For our seven and two year old we ordered from their desert menu which saved us a lot of money as they never eat all we get them. My husband had an omelette I had a Dutch savoury pancake I agree with what others say the meat portions of the food are small however all four of us had beautiful delicious meals beautifully presented. Credit to the kitchen staff for their great cooking Our server was Keiran and he couldn’t have been more lovely or professional. He really made our day. I noticed the card on the table a tip pre added. Normally that would have irritated me but the food was so lovely and the staff so good I planned to tip anyways. Kieran handled the tip conversation really well preemptively. He just knows customer service. He’s a credit to your company. I was wondering why the scores for this place were so much lower than I expected. I do get the price it’s not cheap but it’s a treat. I did think it was a bit unfair to slate Mary in previous posts as I found her totally efficient. If she wasn’t monitoring the front desk where Centerparcs people can chop and change at short notice she was cleaning beneath tables, checking on guests, and keeping her team moving. I haven’t worked in the food industry for 20 years but she reminded me of a previous efficient boss of mine The table space was quite small as we weren’t at a booth. But that’s a centerparcs issues not a staff issue. Really brilliant staff here. Mary and Keiran were wonderful. Credit to your kitchen staff. They looked fully busy and efficient working at speed from my view at the table. The entire place was spotlessly clean including the toilets

Not worth the expense. McDonald’s do better pancakes and a quarter of the price. The ‘New Yorker’ pancake was laughable.

We tried the omelette, the french toast and the waffle. Portions are good enough for sharing (except the waffle). We shared between 4 and it was more than enough. Food was good. We loved the omelette, and the rest were not too sweet. The french toast was average. Service was great. Overall, it was a good experience.

Worst experience I’ve had, I had breakfast last time I came to centre parcs around a year ago and had nothing to complain about was fine so though I’d go again. Was greeted by an elder female with short grey hair and glasses ( can’t remember her name) she was rude and abrupt the entire time. Tables where crampt and couldn’t even get a conversation in due to the distance to other people. When it came to food, I had the American French toast which consisted of a single slice of bacon and one slice of bread, my partner had an Omlette, we both had a drink - a tea and a regular soft drink. This all came to £32 which isn’t worth anything near the price, but oh well. Now came to the payment - so I payed using Apple Pay contactless. I tapped my card and it stated transaction failed but still took the money out of my bank, explained this to the staff member I mentioned before and once again not a care in the world, rude, impatient and made sure every table round us heard that my card had been declined. Almost like she was trying to rub it in. Showed proof of it leaving my bank and also proof of funds to staff, but at the end of the day I was told I had to pay again no matter what. I’ve checked my bank again today and I’ve been charged twice so I’ve payed £64 for a poor breakfast and rude service? I spoke to reception and the First Lady I spoke to was very helpful and told me to pop back the day after this situation happened to see if pavement had been resolved and possibly cleared by my bank which I agreed to return next day, I spoke to another staff member who simply just scoffed at the matter and told me to ring my bank about it and they couldn’t issue a refund, yet all this information was stored on file for someone to sort later on? Won’t be returning again.

Unfortunately our experience was ruined by the worker who goes by the name of "Mary". Mary ruined our outing from start to finish and made myself and family almost like we wasn't wanted. Rush, rush, rush. Everybody has a bad day in the office but I think Mary requires some sort of green tea to aide her tempter and frustration as it is really visible to everybody else. The food was very average, we ordered two of the sharing platers in which you would have around 5 pancakes and different toppings. There was not enough toppings to Cater all the pancakes which I'm pretty sure the reason for us receiving less is actually because we ordered more (2 platers). It's a shame the hours of the pancake house couldn't be open slightly longer as the cost is very reasonable but I think all that is counteracted by the likes of Mary. 😊 🥞

Ignored on entry for 5 minutes, when we approached staff for seating we were told ‘I need to get a manager’. To then wait a further 3-4 minutes for a manager to be then told we couldn’t be seated until 2:30. Which we found interesting as there were multiple tables set and ready with no queue waiting to go in

Great staff, menu & atmosphere, but disappointed with the food. Was all cold and the pancakes come with half a tiny pot of maple syrup which we then asked for more of and were charged £1.50 for the same minuscule amount. Complained to the very nice waiter who said we are one of many to mention the issue, but chefs seem to think the syrup is too expensive to give out in full. Not good.

This pancake is what I needed to cure my hangover I really appreciated how there was a bowl of beans instead of it being dumped on top!! I rated atmosphere a 2 just because happy birthday was sung 4 times in the hour that I was there. The first time was cute and then it quickly turned into a fever dream.

Booked a table for 8:45 and we were straight in with no hassle. This was done through our Centre Parcs booking. Aside from a somewhat long(ish) wait for our order to be taken, food and drinks were delivered to our table really quick. A selection of sweet and savoury pancakes on offer as well as waffles made the choice difficult! I ordered the Mexican pancake and it went down a dream. The photos really don’t do it justice! Full for the whole day. Will certainly be going back!

This place is an absolute travesty. Filthy, literally everywhere and everything is dirty. Numerous members of staff and hardly any customers, so not sure what the excuse is for not cleaning. Server using his bare hands on the fries, tinny explicit music blaring from the kitchen behind, and the toilets as gross as everything else. If you’re thinking about coming here, do yourself a favour and don’t.

Ordered Fish and chips and Steak pie and chips - along with 1.5 pints of cider. £34 and some pence. Fish was so wet the batter underneath was mush and inedible, the “chips” were fries, cheap frozen ones. Apparently the steak pie was good so that earned you 2 stars. There was no salt to be found anywhere but an uncleared table and that was so wet it wouldn’t come out of the holes (I took the bottom off and tipped it into my hand) I went in to tell them how unhappy I was with my meal, but the one lad who had been serving had gone and nobody covering.

What was once thought of as a worthy destination, has gone dramatically down hill. 25 minutes of queuing for food, only to be told that 3 of the limited 5 dish menu were not available for a further 10 minutes. No real apology given, staff were “frantic” and spent more time moaning to one another than actually serving and just getting on with it. At one point, there was only one male serving food, slower than anything I’ve ever seen before. Till queue no better - half the restaurant seating area was closed off for cleaning (great timing during a Friday evening dinner rush) - dirty plates left on the tables - and to top it all off, no available cutlery. We won’t be coming back, which is a shame when I think how good this services used to be. Clearly lacking proper management oversight, or it was tonight at least. Recommend going to a normal service station in the future. EV chargers were good though, that’s a plus I suppose.
